((4co., permission to use 3 points from the party pool to speedy action, power up (def.)?

Also, do I edit my post or make a new one with the new actions taken into account?

Thanks for saving me from myself MoG! mrgreen ))

Either way would be fine, just let me know when it's done if you edit.

Speedy Action: 2
You may spend 1 AP (in addition to the action's cost) to use a second action in a turn. A second rank in this ability (for an Additional 2CP) adds the option to spend 1 more AP to use a third action. You may only purchase this ability twice.

You currently have 3 Actions selected for use; Smash x2 and Power Up. Since you only have the one rank in Speedy Action, you are limited to 2 Actions per round. So, you have 4 AP available for this round, 3 previous and one current. This would allow you to use Power Up (Defense) and one other single point Action cost without dipping into the Party Pool. (Smash or Stunning Blow) If you wanted to use two 2-point Actions, such as dual Power Ups, You would require 1 point from the Party Pool. Now, armed with this new knowledge, what would you like to do?

((1 smash should be fine Warder and you can use the party pool as much as you feel is necessary. You don't need to roll for attack though, you should roll for defense so that you have that extra chance at survival. Anyway, good luck, I hope you make it through this! mrgreen ))

((Okay... too much info for my weary brain. Here's what I wanna do I think:

Change it to a single Smash on the Boulder Demon. Speedy action to get in a Power Up: Defense. Change my dice score to defense as well, since apparently I need that to survive sweatdrop

Alright... will that work? If not, someone play my character for me so we can make progress soonish.

Oh, and regen one health pre combat.))

Warder is carrying a healing potion.
Karythelia uses a healing potion.
Warder Regenerates 1 point.

Once again the parties collide in an attempt to gain the upper hand in the conflict. 4 Co. attempts to lay the Reality Rift down on the Breaker Demon, but the powerful attack is redirected by the steadfast abilities GEB1. GEB1 suffers for the act however, as 4 Co.'s Stunning Blow prevents it from blocking the Special Damage. The Gravity Sword blasts away with the black hole it conjured, seeking to destroy the Boulder Demon as well. The Black Hole's trajectory is altered by GEB2, who takes the full impact upon itself. It also is denied the chance to reduce the special damage, as Karythelia distracts it with a well placed bottle. Smirking slightly at the confused beast, Karythelia erupts in song, serenading the Breaker Demon with notes of pain, as the just quaffed Healing Potion goes to work on her injuries. She attempts a further attack on the Breaker Demon, but is unable to penetrate the sheer defense of the monster. Talos searches within for hidden reserves of strength, then attacks the Breaker Demon with renewed Vigor. The Demon howls in pain as the attack lands, knowing that it is moving closer and closer to death. Sensing it's impending doom at the hands of Warder, the Demon attacks the valiant fighter, attempting to cause serious harm before it falls. Warder judges the blow to be worthy of special attention, especially with the additional strike headed his way from GE1. Warder quickly powers his defenses, just enough to take the edge off the Demon and Goblin Elite's attacks. The second Goblin Elite moves to strike Warder as well, but the Gravity Sword, acknowledging it's inability to draw any other attack, redirects GE2 towards it instead, taking the hit stoically. Warder stalks purposefully towards the Breaker Demon, inflicting Vindictive damage to it and the Elite Goblin that strike at him. With a single powerful strike and finishing Smash, the Demon drops before Warder, dead. The Elite Bodyguards end the round with signs of contempt, spitting their acidic drool upon Karythelia and Talos.

I took a few liberties with Warder's dice; by leaving them as attack, the Demon goes down and Warder suffers 7 points of damage. If I change them to defense, the demon survives to the next round and Warder takes no damage. If you prefer the alternate, I will make the appropriate changes and roll for the Demon's target. Just let me know if you want me to change to the alternate ending. mrgreen

And as an afterthought, any new rule I introduce to the Dungeon may be contested if you think it is unfair. If you don't like it, I won't use it. All current Dungeon Specific rules are listed in the first post of this thread.

(( mrgreen I like it and here is how we will obtain those potions.))

"4 co. and Karythelia focus all your energies into destroying those goblin elite bodyguards." ((We need to get as much special and spell damage on them as possible and stun them, to obtain those precious potions.)) Warder you and me are classy so were pounding the gobliny green mucus out of goblin elite one. ((Use a double stun with the party AP to eliminate the two goblin elites actions. I'll Stun one of the bodyguards so 4 co. can stun the other.)) "By the way I call dibs on one of those potions if this works. Perhaps two...

Willing his shadow toward one of the elite body guards ((#1)) Talos begins wrapping it in a cocoon of darkness and restraint preventing any prowess from escaping its clutches. Seizing the opportunity he charges the first goblin elite with a multitude of dagger slashes before rolling safely to a good spitting distance. "Your property now belongs to me Talos Kintsei, and I guess these guys as well..."

((I like how that turned out... but I think I'll down my healing pot pre-combat, and regen one health post combat. ))

Warder takes a deep breath and wiped some of the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Here we go again..." drawing his blade he rushes towards the incoming Goblins, using his sword and buckler to take the Elites out of commission and using his blade to skewer the Elite that Talos was attacking.

"Sounds good to me, I guess," the bard replied as she quickly caught her breathe, eyeing her teammates with a sinister poetic thoughtfulness. 'Something this interesting's bound to make a good ballad', the thought made her lips curl.

"No more singing... I'm gonna die of thrist later." With a flourish, Karythelia whipped out her lyre and started another tuneful retaliation.

"I'm gonna try a new trick," she exclaimed aloud, face lighting up," This oughta be fun! ... First times a charm?" The half elf steadied herself, took aim and had did finishing twirl. "Bang!"

The micro black hole on the Gravity Sword was still in full force as the Gravity Sword turned onto the second of the two Goblin Elites. "I'm a Hoover!" The Gravity Sword then flies forward and sucks the Goblin Elite into its inevitable doom in the event horizon of the black hole.

4 Co. turns to one of the Goblin Elite Bodyguards and opens his mouth. Two darts with wires connected to them shoot forth from his mouth into the chest of the Goblin Elite Bodyguard. Some arching can be seen as a large jolt of electricity is sent down the wires into the goblin, electrocuting it. The wires then go taught and retract the two darts from the goblin back into 4 Co.'s open mouth with a resounding burp.

((Karythelia seems to have taken care of the two bodyguards on her own (16 to GEB1 and 6 to GEB2 and they are both stunned so they can't protect themselves and thus can't even use their True Guardian ability since they both have lethal damage dealt to them), so I am going to eliminate the second Goblin Elite so that we may complete this battle.))

Warder uses a healing potion.

The battles erupts into newly discovered fervor, as the Goblins attack in a frenzy after losing their leader. GE1 strikes at Karythelia, hitting her with everything he's got. GE2 simultaneously attacks Warder, but does little damage against the powered defenses of the fighter, taking damage himself as reward for his trouble. The pair of GEB's send globs of spittle at Talos, sizzling past his defenses, leaving their mark. The battle ends here for the enemy team, as the timely stunning blows delivered by the party stop any further moves on their part.

4 Co., Talos and Warder easily take down GE1, while Kary destroys the GEB's single handedly with her combined attacks. Gravity Sword finishes the last of the Goblins, sucking the Elite into it's Black Hole effect.

Warder Regenerates 1 point.

Searching the corpses, you find 4 Potions of Healing, and upon the demon you discover an Amulet tucked into a loose scale. The Amulet is warm to the touch, and carries a sense of malevolence about it, as if infused with the darkest of demonic energies...
