Kaoru did turn around, but it was to pull out his cell phone and dial Kyouya's number. There was no way he was buying that lie. Kaggy had no more than a couple hours ago been shot, and he wasn't about to let her just disreguard her own health and escape. Be it because of sheer stubbornness or because she hated hospitals, this wasn't a time for her to be acting like a complete and total moron.
Watari had heard her quiet words and she did indeed get to see his flushed face as heat rushed to his cheeks. He then nodded and lead her onto the turn that would slowly take them toward Kaggy's room. He knew Kyouya would be busy for a while, but he did hold out the slight hope that he would call him should he need him. "Well, that isn't how it usually goes, but I suppose today can be an exception."

Kyouya blinked at the ringing cell phone in his pocket. Flipping it open he looked at who was calling. "Moshi, moshi~" he answered.

Kaoru didn't even miss a beat. He knew he would have a struggle on his hands if they realized what he was doing. "We have a breakout in progress," he said.

((Ah, the exciting hospital chase through crowded hallways scene. A classic. I'm looking forward to this. :3 ))

"Damn," muttered Okami, frantically digging through her surprisingly deep (and lint-filled) skirt pockets. Aha! She flipped a switch on a suspicious little black box hidden amongst the pocket lint and suddenly, Kaoru's cell phone signal was lost. Heh. The beauty of illegal devices, the girl thought to herself. Perhaps her brother was worth something after all. But never mind. "Kags, hurry up," Okami warned through clenched teeth. She knew Kaoru would only be confused for a few seconds before he would figure out he'd been sabotaged by a cell phone signal-disrupter.

"Heh." Cely limped out after him and put her arm back around his shoulder; his face was almost the color of her maroon-red fingerless gloves. They started to the right when Cely found someone she hadn't expected to see- she looked worriedly at the frustrated red-head down the hall. He sat in the back of her class, she remembered, beside Haruhi. Not only that, he had bumped into her (literally) in the hallway a couple times. With a look at his eyes, she recognized him as the twin she thought he was. He looked frantic, so she called his name without thinking. "Kaoru-kun?"

Kyouya at least heard the word "breakout" before the signal was lost. Hanging up he walked over to the nearest nurses station and spoke briefly in to a walkie-talkie. It wouldn't be long before his secret police had swarmed the room.

Kaoru turned, looking down at his phone, before looking right at Kaggy. "You know what... I don't know why I cared. If you're stupid enough to escape from here while your hurt, then you deserve whatever happens to you," Kaoru replied, looking toward Alcy and Okami. "You two say your her friends... and yet you're helping her injure herself more. How is that friendship? You should help her endure a stay here. The sooner she is cared for properly the sooner she can go home without worry." That said he turned and left the room. He'd told Kyouya what was going on... and even if he didn't get all of it, the Shadow King wasn't stupid. The cut off call would speak volumes. He then heard his name and looked up, unaware he looked stressed. "Cely-chan? What brings you here?"
Watari watched the two, taking this moment to compose himself and rid himself of the hotness that covered his cheeks.

Cely, now standing before the slightly taller Kaoru, spread her arms out and gave a quick overview with a grin. "Ahh, y'know," She sighed, not wanting a pity party from her new friends. "Routine stuff. Question is, why are YOU here? And what's with the downcast face?" She said, leaning below him to look closer at his face. She always acted ungodly cute, if only by accident.

Kyouya made his way down to where Kaggy's room was. After nodding to a few of the nurses and doctors he turned the hall to the stairs and sprinted down. As he reached the first landing he felt light headed and slowed his pace. Instantly Kyouya leaned against the railing to let his heart rate slow. Damn. I can't do that again.

Nice one, Okami! Alcy thought in spite of herself, trying frantically to think of a way for Kaggy to avoid getting caught. In fact, she was so preoccupied that she didn't hear one word of Kaoru's eloquent and rather out-of-character friendship speech. Either that, or she simply chose to ignore him. The latter is more likely, as the answer turned out to be rather obvious. "Hmm...." she mused after he left. "I'd say your best choice is... out the window. We're on the first floor, right?" She wasn't sure, since the blinds had been closed when she came in.

Kaoru glanced back toward the room in question and sighed. "I came to check on Kaggy, since she was shot earlier. But apparently, she's just fine... for being Kaggy," he replied, his voice a little bitter. Normally, he wouldn't have cared less, since all he would have needed was his twin. Yet things were different and he was on his own. So watching someone, anyone he knew, act so reckless with their own life... it was just horrible. Even more so when he blamed himself for what happened.

((Sorry for the late post, again.))
Kaggy shrugged. "Don't worry, I've had worse." she said to Alcy and Okami. "Nothing really bad will actually happen, as long as I don't bother the wound." She glanced out the window. "Hmm....yep, it's the first floor. Guess I'll be climbing down, then. If anyone catches you guys, I forced you, remember." She dragged a chair over to the window, grinning. "Wish me luck!"

"Ah..." Cely replied, hearing the ruckus from the room just being him. She probably should have tried to stop them, but she wouldn't be able to with her ankle, and she knew than. Instead, she wanted to help Kaoru; they had only recently met, but Cely felt that she understood. She smiled softly at him, despite the bitter look on his face. "The real world is a strange place, isn't it? No one really seems to understand what they're doing and why it's wrong. But it's no one's fault, and sometimes there's nothing you can do, no matter how much you hate it." What she really wanted to say was that she felt the same way. She recognized the look in his eyes as one she had used before. Being alone was hard, especially if it was a whole new experience. But she couldn't say it. She just wasn't ready to admit that people always drift. She wanted to know otherwise.

Alcy grinned and flashed a thumbs up. "Ganbatte! Oh, and if you want, you can head over to my apartment, and we can meet you there later. Get something to eat, watch some tv, feed my dog..." She smirked as she turned away from the window. She could hear voices coming from outside.
"Ne, Okami-chan... what are we gonna do about them?" she asked as she pointed towards the door.
