"She's usually crankey when she wakes up.." She replied as she gently picked up Solemn and rocked her gently up against her as Solemn smiled up at Eric.

"Pleeeeeease?" Tressa whined as she followed her father around. "It won't take much, it's only one ear!"
Eric clenched his fists and through gritted teeth said, "For the last time! I won't let you die your fur so stop asking me!"
"But that's not fair! I'm going to ask mom!" Tressa said with a pout before running off to find her mother.
"Don't ask her! I already said no!" Eric called after her. Tehn he sighed and rubbed his head. "I liked her better when she couldn't talk."

"Whats all the fighting about you two?" Saki asked as she walked into the room where the argument took place.
Solemn came running in at full speed and nearly crashing into everyone in the process. "Daddy! Tressa!"

"It's nothing, I have it-" Eric started, but was cut off by Tressa.
"Mommy, can I die my fur? I'll only need a little bit! Just enough to tip my ear. Then my ears will match." she said. Then she looked over at her sister. "You're lucky, your ears match. You look fine. I look stupid."
"You don't look stupid! What's stupid is that you're making such a big deal out of this." Eric sighed. "Tell her she's blowing this way out of porportion, Saki!"

She kneeled down to her daughter and sighed, "You know your dad is right, it looks fine. I bet by time time you would have dyed it you would have wished you didn't do it..."
She just looked at Tressa, blinking a couple of times. "It looks fine, you look like mommy."

Tressa's shoulders sagged. "I wouldn't regret it!" she whined. It didn't seem fair, no one saw it her way. Even her own sister didn't agree with her.
"See?" Eric said as he patted her head. "You don't need it and if you did get it and then regretted it you'd whine even more. Now your mother and I both agree on this matter so stop asking."
"Fine!" Tressa said as she crossed her arms. She looked up at her mom. "I'm hungry, can you make me something?" she asked.

"Grandma is in the kitchen, go ask her if you can have something to eat." Saki replied as she stood up straight, wondering why Tressa wanted to dye her ear...it looked fine.
Solemn stood next to her father, tugging on the bottom of his shirt. "Why does Tressa want to dye her ear? Dosen't she realise she looks like mommy?"

"O.K.!" Tressa saud before running off to the kitchen to get her grandma to make her something.
Eric looked down at Solemn as his other daughter ran off. "I don't know. She says she doesn't match and thus she looks stupid. I think she looks fine." he said. Then he walked over to Saki adn wrapped an arm around her. "She does look like you and I don't see any problem with that." he said before kissing her cheek.

She smiled and wrapped her arm around his waist, "Thank you hunny.." Saki said as she felt her stomach grumble. "Let's all get something to eat, I'm hungry."
Solemn ran to be in the middle of them, smiling happily. "Me to! Me to!" She exclamed with joy.
"Of course with you too, we'd never forget you.."

Eric picke dup Solemn and swung her around before placing her back on the ground. "We could never forget you!" he said with a smile. "Let's join your sister." he said as he held out his hand.

Solemn nodded and took her fathers hand, holding out her's for Saki to take. "C'mon mom! Time to eat~"
Saki nodded and held onto her daughers hand, looking over at Eric and smiled down at her daughter.

Seira stood in the kitchen, finishing up the dishes from breakfast. After she was done she whipped off her wet paws and sat down, finally able to get a second to sit and relax.

Tressa popped her head into the kitchen and spied her grandma. Walking up to her she poked her arm. "Can you make me something to eat?" she asked.
Eric smiled and Saki and then at Solemn. "So what do you want to eat?" he asked his daughter.

She sat up, looked down and smiled. "First you have to say please, then ask what you want." Seira said with a laugh, patting her grandchilds head.
"Um," She pondered on the thought for a minute but decided on something easy. "Peanut Butter and Jelly with a glass of milk!"
"Oh sure, go easy when grandma is making your food." She joked as she kneeled down to her daugher, kissing her cheek.

"But I don't know what I want!" Tressa said.
Eric laughed at Saki's remark as they walked into the kitchen. Looking at Saki's mother he smiled. "Yo." he said as he went over to Tressa. "Solemn wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, what are you having?" he asked her.
"I don't know!" Tressa said. Her stomach growled. "Can't someone choose for me?"

Solemn ran over to her sister, "She'll have the same thing as me! Please grandma..."
"Okay, two PB&J sandwitches coming right up." Seira said as she slid off her chair and began making the two sandwitches. "Hey, Eric and Saki."
"Hey Mom," Saki replied as she walked over to the refridgerator and pulled out the milk and a thing of yogurt for herself. "Here is the milk mom, need any help?"
"No, I'm almost done anyway."
