Satisfied, the fiesty woman moved back towards her booth in time to see Zach leaving. Taking her place once again, she waved to Weiyuan, "Where's your brother? He didn't stay up and study did he?" Alex chuckled a little, although the thinly lined threat of annoyance was hidden in the lights and sounds of the games around her.
Rather than think on it, she leaned on the counter top, catching sight of Hyuga. "So! Find anything of interest?" she quipped cheerfully, as if she hadn't gone around and threatened to manhandle a few rambunctious boys. "The Whack-A-Mole seems to be popular, but no one seems to have the right touch."

Kazu-chan "Ah!" Lexi gasped, remembering she hadn't introduced herself either. She stumbled as she tried to pull off a curtsy. "I'm Lexi. Well, Alexandra, but most people call me Lexi." With a mild blush, she took Norman's offered arm. "I'd be delighted!" she said in answer to his earlier question as she smiled up at him. "Pleasure to meet you, Miss Lexi," he replied pleasantly, turning on his heel to guide her through the masses. Norman was a careful man, be it from his history or from dealing with people in general, but he was quite skilled at manuevering around the stray groups and couples of people. He was mindful of the woman on his arm, guiding her at his side but slightly behind, so that he might make a less obstacle infested path to tread. He glanced up in the direction of the booth as the crowd thinned from the main area of the mall and into the quiet and cooler area where Lorioth had decided to set up shop. The Headmaster was neither surprised nor dismayed to see that the booth had still garnered an ample amount of gawkers.
Of course, if it was just because it was for photographs or because of the reindeer running it, that was anyone's guess. Once they were in an area they could speak without yelling over others, he picked up polite conversation as they trekked towards the booth. "Do you live around the main land, Miss Lexi? I'm always curious to see from which reaches of the world that our humble school draws attention."

Wei turned to watch Zach find someone else. He rolled his eyes, did that mean he was free to go now? Gods he hoped so. Steel eyes flickered back to the darker woman before turning their gaze upon the other boy. "No, his room mate's dragging him around somewhere."

Loki Saimar Breathing a small sigh of relief that the boys had not simply ignored him, Fiach gave a small smile. Maybe this whole getting out and meeting with new people thing wasn't such a bad idea after all. Feeling slightly out of place for his sheer size and age, he sighed as he realized he was probably older than all three of those he was standing with. Being 6'4" certainly didn't help make matters feel less awkward, either. Noting the bow with a look of surprise, Fiach gave a short nod of his head before stepping nearer to the trio and putting his hand out to shake hands with the boy who had introduced himself already. Lilting in his small Irish accent, "My name's Fiach." Smiling, he turned his gaze to encompass the other two boys within the small circle that was forming, "A pleasure to meet you all."
Glancing around the crowd, easily distracted by the masses of people, Fiach found himself frowning. Maybe getting out and meeting new people at a large festival really wasn't such a bright idea after all. He had the sneaking suspicion that he would be completely lost the entire time he was here, and alone to boot, if he didn't latch onto a small group and pray they didn't let him get lost. Clearing his throat, he returned his attention to the trio before him, "So do you boys go to school here...or are you just visiting, as well?"
((For Merle, Nash, and Farlest.)) Nash perked up at the other boy's accent, it was definately Irish, he could tell. His own father was a pure bred, himself, however was partcial. Even so, hanging around his father back then had imbred in himself a soft Americanized accent himself. To answer the taller boy's question, Nash stepped in to assert himself. "I attend but only recently, so it's all new to me. Merle is visiting, and I'm not sure about the other there." Nash pointed to boy coming up to them just as Fiach had done.
"Oh, by the way, My name is Nash. Seibehn L.J. Nash... I prefer my last name for sentimental reasons." He chuckled lightly giving Fiach a warm smile as he looked around at all the festivites. Christmas had never been celebrated so elaborately in his small town. The most he got out of it was cutting down a fresh pine, decorating it, and sitting by the fire reading books or talking with his father about upcoming fishing trips while his mother backed cookies in the kitchen.

Nodding slightly as he found out that the freckle faced boy attended the school, Fiach breathed a small, soft sigh of relief. Maybe he wouldn't end up so lost after all! Though he did feel awkward having to beg time off of school aged kids. Oh well, spending time with youthful strangers was far better than wandering alone, where he might get easily cornered. Shaking his head just a sliver to return his attention to the boy in front of him, a small smile touched his lips. Perhaps this wasn't quite so bad after all...
Testing the boy's name out, as if talking to people wasn't entirely familiar to him, he gave a short nod. "Nash...that's a nice name." Rubbing the back of his neck in mild embarrassment, he glanced around at the festivities, following Nash's gaze out of habit. Fiach wasn't entirely good at being a leader, so he was unconsciously following what the younger boy did.
"So...have you ever been to a festival...this large?" This was, in reality, one of Fiach's first forays out of his small comfort zone - and the crowd was more than a little overwhelming.

Nash shook his head, violet eyes sparkling with unspoken mischief. "I've never been to one quite so big. Usually I spend quiet time alone with the family... and then..." He looked away deciding not to dampen the mood with unfavorable memories.
"At any rate, we'll never get around to participating in all the events if we just stand around." He had been eager to get things going but wasn't about to rush out there all alone. He'd already done that and it proved uneventful.
Turning violet eyes on Fiach he inquired, "Is this your first time to something like this too?"

Giving a sad smile at the young boy next to him, Fiach reached out to pat him on the shoulder. If there was one thing the man could understand, it was not wanting to reflect upon sad memories. As the boy looked away, Fiach was reminded vaguely of himself. His sister had once told him he had the unruly habit of turning away when he didn't want to reveal anything on his face.
With a sheepish grin, Fiach nodded, "It is...I..ah..don't really get out often, to be honest." Trust was, he didn't really know when the last time he'd really gotten out was. Glancing around the activity of the place once more, he sighed. So many people! A frown touched his lips as he pondered on what to do, before he finally smiled down at the kid next to him, feeling almost as if, as the older one, he ought to be the one to point them off in some direction or other. Or, at least act like he was older.
Extending his hand to clasp Nash on the previously patted shoulder, Fiach gave his attempt at a friendly grin, "I'll walk around with you, if you like. I'm not really used to large crowds...so it would be nice to have a friendly face around."

Nash beamed up at Fiach suprised that the other was willing to go exploring with him. To say the least he was worried that he'd be stuck talking like a bunch of worried hens throughout the event. Instead it seemed Fiach was making as much effort as himself to see what was out there.
"Alright, it's settled." He didn't want to seem rude by leaving the others so gave them a curt nod. "We'll split up, then. Maybe we can meet up later for some food." He offered hoping it wasn't too forward of him to say so.
Looking up to Fiach, Nash pouted slightly, "Um... what should we do?" He asked aloud, not quite certain which activity would interest Fiach, being older and all, he might not even want to be seen hanging around a kid either. But to Nash, if that was the case Fiach might not have come a callin'. "Want to go play some games?"

Suddenly feeling awkward about the idea of traipsing off with the younger boy as he gave his agreement to the idea, Fiach wondered just what he'd gotten into himself. Also giving a small nod and wave to the other two boys, Fiach sighed as Nash gave a small pout. Well, at least the boy didn't seem to think he was weird or crazy for talking to a couple of kids a few years younger than him. Though, he had to admit...at twenty one he felt strangely old compared to them.
Glancing around as the boy inquired what they ought to do, he sighed at the massive crowd. He really had no idea, and was greatly relieved when Nash suggested they might play some games. He thought he'd seen some sign or other for the game booth somewhere, and so smiled as he nodded, "Sure, that could be fun. Its been a while since I played games at a carnival booth..." A brief frown touched his face as he remembered when the last time he'd gone to a fair was. When he took his sister, Adalia. Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea, after all...
Using his height to his advantage, Fiach caught sight of the sign indicating where the game booth was. Raising one hand to point in the right direction, he half muttered, "Its that way, I think..." Taking a couple of steps forward, Fiach suddenly stopped as it dawned on him he hadn't even inquired after Nash's parents.
"You're...ah...parents won't be looking for you if we wander off, will they?" That was the last thing Fiach really needed - a couple of angry parents thinking he was kidnapping someone...

((Sorry for taking forever! >< This is for the current crew crowded around Irame and Lorioth. xD; ))
It seemed that whilst he'd been thinking of how to answer the good Elven professor Irame, quite a many things came to pass. Easily, with a good-hearted nature and his gentle face, the head of the science department watched it all with that famous smile of his. Storm cloud gray eyes peered at the gathering of students and events that seemingly passed within moments of each other.
After sufficiently teasing Lorioth, the other was rightfully embarrassed and was even too nervous to come up with a smart-sounding come back. At this notion, Ardanay's eyes sparkled all the more and then appeared Zach. There was a moment of pause... he was sure he hadn't met or seen this student around before, but he knew the profile quite well (as was a personal hobby of his). In the moment of fascination with the professor, as the boys grew fascinated by her species amongst themselves, he interrupted calmly with the answer long due: "Ah you like them too Professor Irame?" He offered a more charming smile, filled with the fondness he had for the growing greens of his office. "That would be lovely... I have been quite unable to find any poinsettia with white blooms... most unfortunate as it is a holiday flower."

((Sorry as well. Aisha was away at an anime con.))
“It is a pleaser to meet you as well.” Irame said, reaching out her hand and taking Zachs in it. She knew at least that much about humans. When someone held out their hand it was an offer to shake the others hand. She didn’t realize that that might not have been his intention. She also didn’t realize that what was an expected and normal goodbye to her might have made Micajah wonder about offending her.
Really she felt a little self conscious about being the center of so much attention. Especially when it was only because of the fact that she had been born an Elf. There were others on the island, after all, and ones that were smarter than she. Dante, for example. Plus normally when outside of her hometown when she was the center of attention it was normally a bad thing.
“As I said earlier to Micajah I would find it most enjoyable to talk to you later, whenever is convenient after the party.” She smiled and hoped that the two of them, or at least one of them, would come and see her sometime. She would have thought her office, but she was trying to get out of her office at least a little more, so it was really more when ever.
It was then that Ardanay spoke again. She looked over at him and nodded.
“I love to help things grow.” That had been something that she had been taught to love from a young age. “It is a most rewarding thing to do.” At the mention of poinsettias Irame’s hand went to her hair, but then dropped back down. She didn’t have any white ones in her hair, that much she knew. She might have some in her office, however.
“I will have to check and see if I have any, Ardanay.” She replied. “If I do I will be sure to send them over to you.”

Zach realized fairly quickly that she didn't seem to know exactly what he was doing ... but still, he continued smiling and brought her hand up to his lips to gently kiss the back of it. "I'd be delighted to come talk to you sometime," he said then, letting her hand go. Oh, yes... he could be quite charming when he wanted to be.
Catching a bit of their conversation about poinsettias, he tilted head slightly, blinking. "I didn't know that white ones even existed... they must be really rare."

Nash shook his head, "No, I don't have any parents." There was a sadness in his voice but other than that he remained for the most part cheerful. "I think it's safe to say I'm striking out on my own this year." That thought made him feel better, being able to explore the world without the parental restraints often made a boy feel like he were on the road to manhood.
With that in mind, his attention went toward the general area Fiach had pointed. "You said the games are that way, right? Lets get going!" He hadn't thought much of Fiach being older than him. In fact, it amazed him that anyone would even spare the time. So used to being isolated that once he'd gotten a chance to explore he didn't even know where to begin or how to contain himself for that matter.
Nash reached out to take the other by the arm, pulling him through the crowd excitedly. "What kind of carnival games do you like? I tend to like those shooting games, where you have to hit a duck or glass bottle to get the prize."

Solemnly nodding his head with a sad smile as the boy informed him he had no parents, Fiach felt bad for him. He knew what it was like to have no parents, even though his mother hadn't died until later on in his life, and after he'd run away from Ireland at that. Giving the boy a friendly smile, he again clasped him on the shoulder before lilting, "I know how that feels..." With a glance around the festival grounds, he added a wider grin, "Though I doubt you'll be alone here, plenty of people your age also striking out on their own. I bet you'll make a lot of friends!" A slight sheen of pink touched Fiach's cheeks as he realized how absolutely corny he sounded. Briefly, he wondered why it was easier to feel like an older brother to someone he'd just met - when he couldn't even say things like that to his own sister.
A short nod of his head was all Fiach managed before the younger boy snatched up his arm and began toting him off towards the games booth. Smiling slightly, Fiach allowed Nash to pull him around, amused at the enthusiasm the younger boy had for new experiences. Or at least, for games and the carnival. Feeling less and less sure of his decision to go with Nash to the games as they approached, he gave a small shrug before responding, "I like the one with the tower of milk bottles and you throw a baseball at it. I got pretty good at it, the last time I was at a carnival."
Smiling as they closed in on their destination, Fiach added a jovial, "So if you win anything at this booth, what do you think you'll do with it?"

Irame smiled embarrassedly. She thought that Zaxh was quite nice, and charming even, but she was relatively sure that students weren’t supposed to go around kissing teachers. Even if it was only on the hand.
That all being said it was very sweet. Irame could barely remember the last time that someone had been so sweet and so formal as to actually take her hand and kiss it. It was sweet, but not something that she could really think of anything that seemed appropriately nice to say to.
“Well I hope that you do come and see me then. If you ever see me around, please feel free to come up and ask me anything.” He mentioned the flowers as well and she nodded. “They come in three colors, at least as far as I have seen. Red, pink and white, although I am unsure of the rarity of each. If you ever come to my office I would be more than happy to show you the ones that I have.”
