Eulalia Danae Leet looked at Myke and then began to play some techno music over its speaker system while a glow-stick like device came out of it's form and was waved around. Myke smirks as he walks along, looking back at Leet a moment and finally stopping, watching the ball dance. "....Man I cant believe you like classical Music like that." he says shaking his head. "Besides, while its good you have entertainment gadgets, I was talkin more about like a map of the ship or something."

Leet blinked at him. And then a blue model of the ship was projected into the air in front of him. It rotated and split in half, detailing each room, each function, and all the information available in a quick preview.

A little red dot appeared on the map, with a "you are here" caption beneath it.

((The scifi story, title and author unknown:
Humans have expanded to the stars at a rapid clip, neglecting more humanitarian things. The first alien species they encounter has gone the opposite route, and is only just now reaching for the stars... only to encounter that the stars are taken. They can heal a broken bone with a pill, but they have no homemade travel outside their solar system. This causes a huge debate in the human realm, very political, about what to do. The story is a conversation between a low-level government worker assigned to their case and a freighter captain who believes there is too much red tape everywhere for anything to be done for the aliens, who in essence are at the mercy of the human government.
A) The aliens have a telepathy, very low level where humans are concerned. B) A program was started to teach a handful of the aliens how to pilot a modern starship. C) A certain low-level government worker introduced a fad toy to the aliens, and he seemed very intent that they like it. They seemed fascinated. The toy was a rather pretty globe with shifting colors and a pleasing sound. D) The fad toy went out of style, and billions of them were lying around useless. E) A certain low-level government worker suggested giving them all to the fascinated aliens as a gift. F) Thousands of ships were sent to the alien planet with the toys as cargo... G) While at the bar trying to convince the freighter captain that you just have to know the system, a certain low-level government worker gets the comm that the aliens have hijacked the ships and disappeared, so his job no longer exists and he's to ship out immediately for a new assignment. The freighter captain kind of figures it out and starts to ask... but the gov guy just smiles and acts clueless as he heads out the door for the next ship out.
And you people wonder why I argue when you rail on the government. Any good bureaucracy is full of happy loops and overly convenient coincidences. Cover-ups, for example, are done by, ah, "system specialists." wink Just gotta know the system.))

"....Anyway to trace anything out of the ordinary? Like anything not on Records of the ship? Maintanences, Parts, Passangers? Leet?" he asks curiously

A large amount of yellow dots began to speckle the map, and a small caption came up with the word "Spiders." A blue dot followed with "leet" written beneath it.
On another projected screen Leet began to filter through the cameras of the spiders, hundreds of different ship images floating by, including a shot of the bar, and one of the prison.

Leet bleeped a minute but then shook back and forth to signify no. The bot paused for a moment, and after a bit of consideration a choppy message constructed of different recorded words and pieces of dialogue played over his speakers. It was comprised of different voices, but mostly used Pendari's. "Worms not released yet. Still holding ship."

For one he had no idea the little bugger could talk, two he recognized a majority of the robots voice, and three that there was something holding the ship. "Holding the ship? Like how? Show me an outside view of the ship."

Leet beeped in slight frustration. "Leet, New with words-ing. Worms in ship. Ship holding worms." The word leet was Myke's voice. The orb technically couldn't speak, but it had figured out a way to piece things together to communicate. Leet was clever like that.
