Akiko dreamt about her and Yugi's accident during DDR. But instead of him scattering to get off of her, he stayed on her. They both kissed each other but Yugi pulled away. "But you'll have to wake up," he said. "What?" Akiko said in a small laugh. That's when Akiko woke up- her face was flushed and her heart was pounding. She sat up to see her dog laying in her room. The black lab pup wagged it's tail in a welcome. "Good morning Spirit," she said as she got. She did her usual routine- shower, brushing teeth, dressing. She went to the kitchen to get breakfast. She remembered about going to Yugi's house today. She would go, maybe. She was ashamed to show her face to Yugi after what she did. "Crap, I left my bike at Seto's," she said. Ok, breakfast, bike, maybe Yugi's if couragous enough.
Joey snuck out of his house after a ten minute show. He didn't want to around his father, he never did. He ran out the door. He needed to talk to somebody, not going into full detail of course. He began walking to Yugi's house, he would know how to help him. But Joey wasn't ready to tell him about his sexuality change. Joey was slowly admitting to himself.
Atem awoke from Yugi's knocking. He cleared his voice and sat up. "Come in," he said as he scratched his head. Yugi opened up and Atem greeted him, "Good morning." His tone wasn't cheery either. He took notice of Yugi's depressed look. "Are you ok? What happened? Did something happen?" he said concerned about his former hikari.

Yugi smiled a little. "Dont worry. I'm fine, just a bit tiered. So everyone is comming here today right? I think Akiko might not so I'll pick her up and you Sam and Joey can go ahead. We'll catch up after." He said and then looked down, still feeling upset and it showed though he tried not to. He didnt want to talk about their fight.
Seto woke up a little later then usual. He got dressed in comfortable clothes and decided to work at home for the day. He needed to talk to Joey and Sam and Akiko and didnt need to worry about dealing with the idiots at work.
Sam watched cartoons and ate as much as she wanted to make herself feel better. She was just so upset and trying to ignore it. But the more time she had to think about it the less angry she got. Joey being gay explained why he wasnt affectionate. And he couldnt help that. But she was still mad, thinking he used her to get to Seto.

Atem could tell something was wrong, but he didn't want to pry at Yugi. "Sounds like a plan. And yes, you should go get her. What ever happened last night, she should be fine today. Akiko isn't somebody that holds grudges," Atem reinsurred him. He wanted to see Sam again and almost couldn't wait to see her. But Joey will be with them, with Sam. He sighed as he got up, "I'm going to go get changed."
Joey approached Yugi's door and knocked. He waited outside before entering. What was he going to say? How should he bring it up? And how would he explain why? Could he tell them about him Seto? Not now, but eventually. He hoped Sam wasn't there, he couldn't face her right now. Nor could he face Akiko, what would she think? If Seto was gay, he would be breaking up with her soon.
Akiko finished breakfast and was off to the Kaiba mansion. She wore a different tank-top with that same star hoodie. This time, she wore her skirt, stripe socks, and as usual- her high tops [via. my picture]. She was worried about seeing Seto- with all her feelings for Yugi resurfacing, she felt guilty. "It's not cheating if I dream it," she said to herself. The fact was she liked it, a lot. She arrived at the mansion and went to her bike. She looked at the door, maybe she should talk to Seto. At least find out how he feels. She walked to the door and knocked.

Seto heard the knock on the door. He knew it was either Akiko or Joey so he decided to get it himself. He walked down, ignoring his sister who in return was ignoring him as well. He walked to the door and opened it. He saw Akiko and felt a little dissapointed. He sighed. "We need to talk." He said right away without even a hello. He shut the door after stepping outside with her. "I want to break up." He said bluntly.
Yugi nodded. "Thanks." He said taking a deep breath, hoping Atem was right about Akiko. He left and shut the door, hearing the knock on the door. He hurried down, hoping it was Akiko. He felt dissapointed but shook his head of those thoughts. Joey was his friend he would always be happy to see him. He smiled and opened the door. "Hey Joey!" He said.
Sam looked up, hearing the door knock. She went to get up but soon heared Seto's foot steps and looked back at the tv, oignoring him. If it was Joey they could both just leave her alone. More then anything she wanted to see Atem and spend time with him. He could always make her feel better.

Akiko didn't even get a word out before he said he wanted to break up. In truth, she wasn't upset about breaking up with him. But he said it..... well.... bluntly. "Did.... I do something wrong?" she automatically said. She didn't mind being let go of, but she was confused. Seto so desperatly wanted to go out, less then a week later he wants to break up? Plus, it wasn't helping her small enough self-esteem.
"Hey Yug! What's up?" he said as he walked in. He looked around and decided to cut the small talk. "Hey, Yug. Can I talk to you? Um.... ya see.... I don't think me and Sam are going to last," he said. He was debating whether or not he should come out of the closet to Yugi. But he was probably the only friend who would understand. Eventually the others would, he hoped.
Atem took a quick shower as well. It only took him ten minutes to finish. He dressed in his usual black pants and black tank-top. He brushed out his hair as he dried it. Finishing up, he made his way down stares.

Seto looked away. he felt he could trust her for some reason. "Well remember that rumor that was going around about me being gay? Its true..." He said quietly, letting out a breath he had been holding in. "i'm sorry I wasted your time with all of this." He said as if he was making a business deal. He spoke very seriously.
Yugi's eyes widened for a moment. "really?" He said, knowing they had to tell Atem soon. But would Joey get mad if Atem dated his ex girlfriend? "Why do you say that?" He asked wondering if they were all still going to be friends or if everything was going to be awkward now.

Akiko had heard about it, but didn't realize it was that big. She turned pale, was he using her to cover up his sexuality? She looked down, feeling stupid that she didn't see this coming. Everything fit into place, timing and everything. She was relieved, but she still felt used. "It's fine, I guess," she said with a sad voice. It must have taken a lot for him to say that and he didn't keep this lie going for a long time- so she wasn't mad at him. She was, however, mad at herself. She should have listened to Yugi. "I hope you don't do it to somebody else again," she said disappointed in the act of using her. She really was a failure, that's how she felt. She walked into the mansion, "I left my bag in here from yesterday."
Joey turned away from Yugi as he took a deep breath. "I'm...... not straight," he out and said it. He prayed in his mind Yugi didn't reject there friendship. "I shouldn't be with her. I just tried to cover it, I guess," he explained. "Besides, she kind of, caught me...... well..... cheating.... it was just a kiss..... but it was still considered cheating," he said shamefully. He closed his eyes- preparing for his response.
Atem walked down when Joey finished his explaination- thus not hearing his news. "Hey Joey," he said happily but then frowned when he didn't see Sam. Why wasn't she with him? "Where's Sam? Is she here?" he asked.

"Youre gay? Why didnt you tell us before?" He said a little surprised but not angry or disgusted at all. He was a very understanding guy. Yugi's eyes widened and he frowned. This was going to be a mess. He didnt care about Joey's sexuality. As long as he was happy then he didnt care but the fact that he used a friends surprised and appaled him. Sam was probably really mad at Joey, hence why she wasnt there. Would she still be friends with them? He sighed and looked up at his friend. "We're your friends Joey, we wouldnt care if you were gay but you used Sam? how could you do tha-" he stopped short when Atem walked in. He didnt know what to tell him. He knew Atem would be happy that Joey and Sam were breaking up but if he found out Joey cheated on Sam and hurt her it could ruin their friendship too. "Um... Sam's not here, we're going to pick her up." He said quickly to cover it up. He quickly looked at Joey apologetically. Joey and sam probably didnt want to see each other.
Seto gave a slight nod and followed in after her. He didnt even look in the direction of his sister as he walked up the stairs and went to his office. He felt a bit ashamed of admitting he was gay but it felt great to finally get it off his chest.
Sam looked up from the tv when she heard more then Seto's footsteps. She saw Akiko and gave a small depressed smile. "Hey..." She said with a mouth full of food. She reached for her soda and took a drink to swallow the rest. She was debating on telling her what happened but she thought she had a right to know and she was too mad at Seto to care. "C'mere I gotta tell you something."

Joey felt good that at least Yugi accepted him. He frowned as he turned to face him. "I didn't mean to. I mean, it wasn't like I intended to hurt her. I like Sam, and would go out with her- but I don't feel anything for her," he said. Joey looked over to see Atem. "Hey," he said worried about what he'll think. He was more worried about his male friends reactions- since they may find it uncomfortable. Joey grunted a bit when Yugi mentioned picking up Sam. "Yea, we were," he said. He did want to see her- to apologize. He had to be a man.
Atem blinked, he felt he was intruding on something. "Is.... everything ok? Did I miss something?" he asked. He smiled in hearing they were getting Sam he approached the front door. "Ok, let's go now," he said enthsiastically.
"Atem," Joey called to get his attension. "Hey, look- we're friends right? I have to tell you something," he said with a gulp.
Akiko smiled in seeing Sam, "Morning Sam." She wondered if Sam knew about Seto. Or perhaps she was going to tell her now. "Ok," she said sitting on the couch next to her. Sam sure did eat a lot- amazing she kept her nice figure. "What is it?" she asked her. Upon further observation, Akiko noticed that Sam was looking pretty sad looking. "Are you ok?" she asked concerned.

Yugi looked at Joey worriedly. He hoped Joey didnt mention cheating on Sam. There was no way Atem would be okay with that if he found out. And Yugi hated keeping anything from Atem but it could wait until Sam wasnt upset anymore right? He didnt want their group to split up because of this. In all the confusion Yugi forgot to ask who it was Joey kissed. It had to be a guy and someone Sam knew... But he couldnt think of anyone Joey would be interested in.
Sam sighed. The food wasnt making her feel as good as she wanted to feel. But she just couldnt drink her problems away anymore, not after she saw what Joey's father was like. "After Atem and I got ice cream last night, I came back her to bring Joey his... and Seto was here... and when I walked in they were... kissing..." She said. She wouldnt have believed it had she not seen it herself. She looked down, feeling depressed and ashamed.

Akiko blinked a few times. Joey? Joey is gay too? Damn this day was getting weird. It didn't affect her who was kissing Seto, but she saw that it hurt Sam. But wait- that means Seto cheated on her! Damnit was she failing horribly! It didn't matter to her right now. She put her arm over Sam's shoulder and said in a calm voice, "I'm sorry Sam. This must be really hard for you." This was really bad for her- her brother and boyfriend? On top of that- Joey was Sam's friend too. She hoped this didn't damage things too much.
They were on yheir way to Kaiba's mansion. Joey spoke when Atem gave his attension. "I'm gay," he said simply, "and me and Sam are probably going to break up today." He said it a bit more easier this time- the first time was the hardest.
Atem stopped walking. "What?" he asked not sure if he heard correctly. All he heard next was 'break up with Sam'. He had to hide the smile- though he was happy she would be single, he had to realize this would hurt Sam. Damn, he still couldn't win- Sam could be his, but she would be hurting. And would he be taking advantage of her if he asked so soon? He had to feel out the situation. "Joey, it's ok," he said accepting the fact. Why would he care? Joey knew he was straight and wouldn't ask him or Yugi out. Plus, they were all friends. "So Sam doesn't know yet?" he asked.
"She..... kind of knows," Joey said- very relieved he was accepted amongst his male friends.
Atem raised an eyebrow, "What does that mean?"

Sam looked at her thankfully and smilled a little. She stood up. "So I guess its over between me and Joey and you and Seto... Well we shouldnt just mope around I guess." She said and stretched. She still felt very depressed but now she felt embarressed about how she was dealing with it. She smirked. "I know something that will make me feel better..." She walked out of the room and came back with her and Mokuba's paintball guns. "lets go outside and shoot at stuff." She said cheerfully.
Yugi quickly jumped between them at the end of the conversation. "Well lets hurry up! I have to go find Akiko too!" He said. He couldnt leave now. He had to make sure they all stayed friends.

Akiko jumped up and grabbed the paintball gun. "Sweet!!! This is so cool! Let's go shoot up trees!" she said happily as she ran out the front and jumped off the stairs. She was really excited- her step-dad had a paint ball gun so she thought they were cool. "I'm ready Sam!" she yelled enthsiastically.
Joey was about to reply when Yugi jumped in. "Nyeh? Wasn't Akiko supposed to be at your house? She's probably still sleeping!" he said. Joey rolled his eyes at the thought, he never met somebody who loved to sleep as much as Akiko.
Atem looked at Yugi strangly. Was he hiding something from him? Perhaps he wanted to stop them since it could lead to a fight. Well, maybe it was better this way. He was worried about when they would arrive. Joey was going to break the news with them all there? Wasn't this a personal thing?

Sam laughed and followed her. "trees, no way, we got the house." Sam said with a smirk. This was probably going to piss Seto off but she didnt care. She aimed and shot at a a window, hitting it. Being as important as Seto was all the windows were bullet proff so the paint balls wouldnt break them.
"Uh well... we got in a little fight last night..." Yugi admitted, looking down sadly. He was upset just thinking about it but if he could change the subject it would be better.
Seto heard a thump on the house. He groaned and clenched his teeth in frustration, knowing what Sam was doing... again...

Akiko felt bad and shocked about shooting the house. Seeing Sam had no problem, she smiled. "Neat!" Akiko said as she aimed at a second story window. She pulled the trigger and shot a window. "They just splatter, even on windows!" she joked. She shot one straight up in the air, "Look at it go." It fell to her side and giggled, "Neat."
Atem widened his eyes for a second. They fought? What did he say? Why did he get the feeling Yugi mentioned breaking up with Seto? He couldn't even imagine the two of them fighting.
Joey looked confused as well. They arrived at the Kaiba mansion, only to find the girls shooting the mansion. "What the..." he said to himself. "Well, I guess she's releasing her anger...." he joked.
