Alright Question eleven.
You are watching a movie in a crowded theater. Though the plot is mediocre, you find yourself dazzled by the special effects. But with twenty minutes left in the film, you are struck with an undeniable feeling of doom: You are suddenly certain your mother has just died. There is no logical reason for this to be true, but you are certain of it. You are overtaken by the irrational metaphysical sense that-somewhere- your mom has just perished. But this is only an intuitive, amorphous feeling; there is no evidence for this, and your mother has not been ill. Would you immediately exit the theater or would you finish watching the movie?

I would leave the theater. Family always comes before pleasure. After all, it's very important to be there just to be sure. I can always come back to the movie later. 3nodding

I'd like to say that I would go, but I think that if it actually happened, I would still stay.
If it bothers me enough, I'll go out to the lobby and call my mom. 3nodding

I was with scoot on this one I'd like to finish the movie but if I was utterly urked by this feeling than I would go phone my mom.

Now, what if you were on a date with someone special, and this occurred?

Same thing. I would excuse myself by telling him of what I was feeling. I would leave the theater for at least a bit. If a phone is available I would use that, but if no one picks up, I would just go home immediately.

I'd leave. Besides if the special effects were the best part of the movie then I think I'd want a refund. I don't think a movie is that well put together unless if has a great story.
But I would probably call before I left just to get my money's worth anyway.
