I chuckle. "Please they cant be that scary and with that power Haru has I bet we can have a Fish Fry." I laugh louder.

Though she couldn't tell what they were, Haru could sense several clusters of energy coming at her through the inky water. She quickly rose to the surface and caught her breath.

The sharks and piranhas were now closing in on her. She did her best to remain calm and drove them away with a forcefield of chakra. "Seishou Gekitai!" Luckily Haru had practice staying focused in stressful situations. She had her uncle to thank for that.

"I am not going down there again. No way. Now what? Oh yeah. Them."

Back on the surface, she regained her balance and looked at the dragons, then at Genkei, laughing a bit.

"Come and get me, punk!" she challenged.

Kanryu stares on and sighs Pulling a kunai out form under hsi cloack i use the Tip to pick Stuff out from under my nails. "I wonder how she will react."

I nod and point at Haru. "But Haru could use those eyes of hers much Better." I get a large chunk of dirt out of from under my nail. "Dang i think that was a knat."

"Actually, ink contains very little light in the spectrum, and if she were to try and use her Kurogan to view things, she would have little success unless she were able to distinguish light. She is able to use up to stage two, and could possibly use this to identify Genkei if she go close enough to him. But since stage two can see things telescopically she might be able to stand where she is and still read him."

"Uh oh. Not good."

Haru clenched her teeth in determination. She began to propel herself in a circular motion, drawing chakra from her body and expanding it outward as far as she could. "Dendouten!" She created an electrically charged shield around herself. Not being able to see, she really needed a somewhat reliable defense. She was used to using her eyes to catch enemy movements and react, she hated the sight-obscuring mist.

Haru was forced to stop spinning and let down her shield as she felt the ink horns and tail come to life, wrapping itself around her. "Oh no you don't. Not this again. You're going to get it now."

She ignored the ink that bound her and focused on gathering chakra to her eyes and forcing herself to see through the black mist. Just as the strain seemed to be too much, her vision slowly became clearer and wider. By the time the second level Kurogan had fully activated, Haru could see that her opponent and his ink birds were getting closer. "Dendou Kuushou!" As before, she destroyed the animated ink creations on her body with a surge of lightning chakra. She then stood her ground, waiting for Genkei to come within attack range. While her attention was focused elsewhere, the chakra beneath her feet dissipated once again. She was not happy to find herself in the water again, especially now that she could see several large creatures eying her hungrily. Before they could come any closer, she released a pulse of energy and got right back to the surface.
