"Fight Outta You" by Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals. "Don't let them take the fight outta you." And we shouldn't.
And thank yooou Fawkes for having that song on your profile.

Guy Fawkes Himself I just received word that Kako was knocked offline, and should be coming back in here soon. And indeed I am back! Simply catching up on what I had missed, Sir Fawkes. I'm afraid I cannot think of any appropriate songs, however. The only one that comes to mind is criminally silly and would bring down the spirit of this game.

(What A) Beautiful Day by the Levellers. If you're not familiar with the lyrics take a look at them here. Fairly self explanatory. I like the suggestion idea that they finish off what Guy Fawkes began, imagined or perhaps even by literally going back in time.

"Imagine" by John Lennon. About the difficulty of even imagining a changed world. People like the king try to condition us to fear that type of change.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to think of posting this song. D: This one is probably going to seem like a stretch to everyone but me, but the imagery all works for me. (Plus I first heard this song right around the time I first saw V for Vendetta, so the two are pretty much stuck together in my head.)
"Holland 1945" by Neutral Milk Hotel
"The only girl I've ever loved Was born with roses in her eyes But then they buried her alive One evening 1945"
Valerie and her roses.
"And now we ride the circus wheel With your dark brother wrapped in white Says it was good to be alive But now he rides a comet's flame And won't be coming back again The Earth looks better from a star That's right above from where you are He didn't mean to make you cry With sparks that ring and bullets fly"
V is the "dark brother", "wrapped in white" by the lilies (in the comic anyway...). The "comet's flame" is the train. I think the rest can be figured out.
"And here's where your mother sleeps And here is the room where your brothers were born Indentions in the sheets Where their bodies once moved but don't move anymore And it's so sad to see the world agree That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes"
To me this part is spoken to Evey.
sweatdrop Yeah, it's crazy. I know.
