Gunnar turned his attention to Yuki but didn't bother to take a different posture or position. He didn't seem very...formal. He scoffed a bit at the mention of Neko before he started, "Well, he killed one of my good freinds." He said simply. "I wasn't gonna just let him get off with it. I still wanna kill him, but, that wouldn't be fair to his freinds." He said obviously having not stopped pummeling Neko for his sake but for the sake of everyone else.

Narrowing his eyes at his fellow feline, Neko didn’t say anything as well. Instead he clenched his fist tight, drew it back, and hit Yuki in the shoulder being sure to hit just hard enough to leave a tender spot but no bruise. Just like children do when they punch their friends for one reason or another. “Jackass.” He hissed. Crossing his arms back over his aching stomach, he eyed Yuki warily for a return blow meaning to dodge it when it came.
When he heard Gunnar speak, he rolled his eyes but yet stepped slightly behind Yuki when he spoke. “I told you, I don’t go talking to every four legged woodland creature before I kill it. Kinda hard to bring up conversation of ‘Hey, Hi, How the hell are ya? Can’t talk? Good well I’m gonna eat ya, if you could just stand still.” This conversation was getting rather frustrating. Not to mention Neko still had questions nagging him that he wanted to talk with Mitsu about. Well, more like demand answers of not really ask. “It’s survival of the fittest out here friend.” He drew out the last word to help the bull note his sarcasm. “If he didn’t expect something like this he shouldn’t have been living here. Game is scarce and if it hadn’t of been me it would have been someone else. At least it was quick.” He obviously wasn’t sorry for what he did, in his minds eye there was nothing more he could have done other than avoid hunting. Like that would happen.
Sniffing at Riyo cautiously, Mitsu edged closer to her. Tilting her head slightly she repeated the same phrase but in a question. “Nyuu?” Then she tried again with a little more confidence. “Nyuu.” Thinking she might be actually learning something, Mitsu smiled. Just as she had started to relax again, sure that she had met a new friend, Mitsu felt the air thicken around them as the tension grew. Looking up her glance moved from Yuki, Neko, and then to Gunnar. What was going on?

Riyo may have been... A little slow, but this one was even too obvious for her to fail. "Nyu!" She said as she looked back at Hitsu and stuck her arm through the little hole, then found the hole for her head and other arm. She looked down at herself with excitement after the shirt was on. She was like a child who had just been given something special. Though, it did feel wierd... To have something on after being unclothed for years. She wasn't sure if she liked it yet or not.
She then looked back at Mitsu and scooted closer to her as she began 'nyuing' at her. She blinked, then opened her mouth to reply, closed it, then thought. "M'nyu." She began, her tail beating against the ground as if in thought. Her eyes focused on hers, and her ears perked up.

[Forgive me for constantly mixing up my replies in terms of the order that people are posting. XD I try to order Hitsu & Yuki's reactions in a means that I'm hoping make sense.]
Hitsu smiled brightly, giving a laugh. She gave a little clap of approval, "Yes, you've got it!" She smiled to Mitsu as she tried to imitate Riyo, and stood up again as the two seemed to be chatting merrily. So cute! As she turned, Gunnar's voice easily carried far enough for her to hear his response to Yuki. Hitsu frowned. So, that's what it was all about, huh?
"OW!" Yuki yelped, clutching the spot on his shoulder where Neko had hit him. He bared his teeth at him, growling. He seriously considered returning the punch, and he most likely would have, had he not noticed Hitsu staring at them with a stern look on her face. Yuki turned his attention back to Neko at his moment, and grew uneasy as he realized what he was doing. Neko's statements were not kind, and Yuki was gradually becoming the one in the middle. He didn't want to be in the middle.
"Nekomata!" She scolded, taking a swipe at the back of his head. It wasn't likely to hurt, but she at least aimed to get his attention. "Do you really think that's a good idea?" She hissed, trying to keep her voice down. "Mocking him like that?"

Gunnar snorted angrily as he began to grow very agitated at Neko again. "Would ya care to repeat that?" Gunnar growled as well as a bovine could growl. He stood up from the fallen tree he had been sitting on and took a few steps closer to neko. He glared at him and cracked his knuckles. Gunnar was already pretty pissed at him, Neko was just throwing salt on the wound.

Neko actually flinched a little when Hitsu hit him upside the head and scolded him. Acting much like a child who had just had their feelings hurt, he lowered his head looking at her with a hurt expression. “No.” Was his only reply to her as he averted his gaze from the bovine as he demanded him to repeat what he had just said. Oh how he wanted to reply with ‘I don’t think I stuttered’ or something to that nature. But he held his tongue and said nothing instead.
“M’Nyu?” Mitsu took her questioning look like she was trying to ask for her name. “Mitsu.” She placed a hand on her upper chest to indicate she was talking about herself. “My name is Mitsu.” Holding her hand out she gestured at Riyo. “M’Nyu?” She smiled at the girl waiting patiently for a name.
When the bull had started snorting in rage again Mitsu’s ears twitched as she scooted closer to Riyo now that Hitsu was gone, casting nervous glances behind herself. What was going to happen? Reaching out she meant to take hold of Riyo’s hands and hold them for security as she hunkered down trying to look as small as possible.

Riyo stared at Mitsu as she spoke her name and smiled. "Mitsu!" She repeated happily and wagged her tail. She then thought for a moment as the question was repeated to her....
She didn't remember her name. She thought long and hard about what it might've been.... But.. Nothing. Her smile turned to a frown and she sighed.
'Your name is Riyo.'
The voice in her head said simply. She blinked for a moment. "Riyo?" She asked the voice that no one else could hear.
Then Riyo felt a sudden movement next to her. She looked back to Mitsu and tilted her head. Why was she so scared? She looked back at the bull and seemed to get annoyed. Interrupting all the quiet. The nerve. Though, It was strange, having someone look to her for protection.

"I didn't think so." Hitsu huffed, crossing her arms over her chest in a pose that didn't look nearly as intimidating as she might have wanted it to. "Now, I want you to say you're sorry." She instructed, staring at him sternly as though she could mentally will him to comply.
Yuki did his damnedest to keep from snorting as he held back laughter. Now Neko had two people pissed off, and he was clearly amused.

[I decided to post to give Gunnar something else to react to XD;; ]
No way. No way in hell was he going to apologize. What did he have to apologize for anyway? He was also pretty sure ‘Sorry I offed your friend’ wasn’t going to go over well with the bovine. Again, how the hell was he supposed to know it was a talking deer? He knew Yuki as sure as hell didn’t chat it up with the boar he killed before he helped it meet its maker. Speaking of which.
“So, are you certain that boar that Yuki took down couldn’t talk either? For all that anyone knows this bovine is hopped up on grass and hallucinating as he’s talking to random animals.” Neko looked up at the bovine with a stern gaze; he was tried of playing this game. “You can stay mad and wish to kill me all you want. I have no hard feeling about taking you down as well. But do you honestly think that it could have gone any differently? Your friend was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I feel bad for you, I do, losing a friend isn’t easy but I am not going to apologize for what I did. When food is scarce you take what you can get when you can and you don’t ask questions about it. Its not like I’m tracking down humanoids.”
The tension seemed to be mounting, it didn’t settle well with Mitsu. It made her uneasy and caused her to shake a little. When she heard Riyo say her name she tried to draw her attention back to her, though it was hard. “R…Riyo?” She smiled, though it was obvious she was nervous as she held tightly to Riyo’s hands. “Cute. Nyah.” Mitsu was trying to fight her first instinct to run. That’s what every fiber of her being wanted her to do, its what she had done before. So why was she hesitating? Was it because she thought she had found friends in this group of strangers that she had just met? She wasn’t sure but she knew they weren’t all bad.

(( Oh gee...I think Neko's just asking for it now xDD ))
Gunnar snapped again, it was taking a lot of self control already to not be yelling still however he had reached his limits. "LISTEN HERE YOU JACKASS." He said stomping towards them and quickly picking Yuki up and setting him off to the side so Neko wouldn't have anyone in front of him.
"WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HUNTING HUMANOIDS OR HUNTING SPEAKING ANIMALS?! IT REALLY CAN'T BE THAT DIFFICULT TO TELL!" He hollared his rage not making room for reason, "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR DAMN EXCUSE IS, IT'S NOT A REASON! FACT IS YOU KILLED MY FRIEND!!!" He said seeming almost more pissed off than earlier if possible.

Riyo's ears twitched as she heard Mitsu repeat what she now considered her name. She had been talking to herself, or something that seemed like herself now, and didn't realize she spoke it aloud. The name... It was familiar enough.. But attached to negative emotions, pain and anger showing the most.
But, the name sounded so much sweeter coming from Mitsu. She looked to her and gave a soft smile. Thats when the argument between Neko and Gunnar began again. She felt Mitsu's hands tighten around hers. Her smile faded. She looked down at Mitsu's hands, then at the two aruging.
Then the yelling began. Her eyes became wide once more, pupils shrunk. She was terrified. In one swift motion, she took her hands away from Mitsu and curled up in a shivering ball. Knees to her chest, arms on the sides of her head. "N-nyuuu..." She cried, the red tears of blood once again leaking out of her eyes.

Well, it was worth a shot. Hitsu was naive, but when it came to this request she wasn't expecting too much less than what she got. When Neko began to start speaking irritably at the bull again, Hitsu slowly started to back away. To be out of range would be in her best interests. In result, she ended up lingering next to Riyo and Mitsu again. Though, she still watched the three males worriedly.
What was funny before quickly scared Yuki halfway out of his wits. He froze as Gunnar plucked him off the ground like nothing but a twig and deposited him to one side. "Holy s-s**t." He stammered, staring wide-eyed at Gunnar before clamping his hands over his ears as the bull starting bellowing in his anger for a second time. "HEY!" Yuki shouted, desperate to gain their attention. "I know you're both pissed... But that aside." He took a glance back toward the village, or at least the direction in which he thought it was. "I really, really don't want more company." Even if the bull didn't know who he was referring to, Neko hopefully would. As for Yuki, he had no idea the status of the stranger that had chased them from their home.

As the bull took his first step of advancement, Neko pulled out a few of his blades and had them at the ready as he stepped back. This bovine really was crazy, even simple logic wasn’t making its way through his thick skull. He could understand it was his friend, he would be mad too if someone had killed Yuki. Confused but still mad more than anything. But there’s a certain level of understanding when it came to these things that it seemed to Neko that this bull just did not grasp. He hadn’t killed his friend out of rage or revenge it was for survival. And if he’d have know he certainly wouldn’t have taken his friend’s life, especially to avoid his current predicament, but what was done was done.
“Keep back I’m warning you. I don’t want to hurt you more than I already have.” His gaze hardened as he stepped back again as Yuki was moved aside. He had a feeling the bull would do nothing to anyone else. His full attention was on him though he still posed a danger if he got out of control. Swinging the dagger in his right hand up into a more firm hold, Neko fidgeted with the throwing knives in his left hand ready to use them if he needed to. Hearing Yuki’s statement, Neko did nothing. There was too much to risk in standing down.
When Riyo pulled away Mitsu was left alone. Nothing to cling to, nothing to hold. She watched helplessly as the feline curled up trying to block out the noise the bull was making. What was she to do? She felt so worthless. Seeing the blood streak from Riyo’s eyes Mitsu finally stood to her feet and from there she moved.
Arms outstretched, Mitsu stood between the two. Her whole body was shivering but she made it very clear in her stance that she wasn’t going to move, though it wasn’t like the bull couldn’t just pluck her up like he had done Yuki. But still she stood her ground, her eyes looking determined. “Stop.” She said simply, keeping her arms out in an attempt to block the way. They both needed to stop. They needed to stop…so Riyo would stop crying. “N…no more.”

Gunnar stopped for a moment as Mitsu took stance in front of them. She was probably less than half his size, yet she was trying to stop their fighting. She was brave, brave indeed and Gunnar took note of that. "Hmph." He said taking a long hard, stone cold glare at Neko before turning around, "I'll deal with you later." He grumbled at Neko. He was still increadibly pissed, and it could show pretty easily.
Gunnar took a seat on the fallen tree once again. He watched the little girl, she was braver than he had thought any of the others to be. Though the majority of his thoughts were still angry and going over the entire scenario, at this point he really hated Neko, he hated his guts. He was a pompous, rude, snide little s**t head and should be thrown to the humans for all he cared. Gunnar continued to sit there, fuming in silence.

As quiet returned to the dark forest, Riyo snapped out of her small transe and looked up. She was still shaking a little, but altogether looking much better. "M'nyu?" She asked as she noticed Mitsu no longer next to her. She sat up and looked around expectantly, trying to find her. There she was! But why did she look so scared?
With a small frown, she stood up and ran over to her new, dare she say... Friend? It was obvious that Riyo was much taller than her, but by no means was that sad kitty face intimidating. "Nyuu!" She said worriedly to Mitsu and whiped the blood off her own face.
