Azure's eyes caught Dyas as she pulled away from Adora. Oh no, something must have come up, he didn't think Dyas would have just stormed off like that for any other reason. Without saying anythind Azure stood up and allowed his eyes to follow Dyas through the crowd. When he was certain of where he was he slowly walked towards her, running would cause him to lose her. Azure spotted the girl he was looking for, at least Adora and Dyas had temporarily seperated. "Dyas..." Azure whispered as he reached out and gently grabbed her wrist, hoping that she wouldn't pull away. "Whats wrong?" Azure wanted to lead her towards the paints and pumpkins so that she could paint it out.

She was almost out of the crowd. She could see the trunks of the trees, so close to just running into them and dissapearing. Perhaps forever. Perhaps-Something enclosed on her wrist. The female stopped to look at what it was. Azure. She looked down at his hand around the base of hers. A flash of a picture, of her enterlacing their fingers. Dyas pulled the limb out of his grasp, looking up tearfully at azure, shaking her head. She turned and kept going, wanting to get away from the festival, from adora, from azure, from the pain. From everything.
"Adora?" He blinked, rubbing his ears with a wince. "Whats wrong with Dyas-" "Just forget it." She snapped at the cat, feeling helpless. She started walking away, scanning the crowd. She had to find raken, tell him of this. He could find and find out whats wrong with her cousin. But where could he be?

Azure's hand instinctively reached back out for Dyas when she slipped out of his hand, but she was out of reach. "Dyas..." Azure called out, he couldn't think of anything to say. "I meant what I said. I still mean it." He told her, right now he hated himself more then anything in the world. He didn't want to go back to the party now, he felt worser then ever, and a party just didn't sound all that fun anymore. Azure was having a lot of regrets right now, drinking that punch for one thing, and numerous others. Azure sadly untied his cape and let it fall to the ground, and then wiped the white paint off his lower lip.

She felt like a fool. How could she not see this? Maybe he did love her. Maybe he did. But...he was still with Adora? He was with adora...when they were in the cave? Why? Why would her best friend...do this to her? Dyas turned around, walking backwards. She touched her chest, right over her heart, and then guestured to Azure before turning around again, and stepping into the forest. Love hurt.

Hope rised in Azure when Dyas turned to face him, but she didn't come any closer. She just kept on moving away from him, that didn't make Azure feel any better at all. Azure's eyes grew soft and looked up at Dyas helplessly, but he knew it was all his fault. "Does this have anything to do with Adora?" Azure asked, this was the one opportunity he had to explain it to her before she'd probably be gone out of his life forever. If she didn't know about Adora before, because Azure was mostly assuming things, then she would now, but he knew he had to tell her. He just hoped that she'd let him.

She stopped at the forests edge, resisting the urge to wipe at the tears. They just...wouldn't stop coming. The female nodded, not turning around, not looking at him. Part of her wished he'd say that adora just said that they were together. A lie. A big lie to decieve her and her father, or maybe born of jealousy. She couldn't bear to look at him though. Not wanting to see the truth painted on his face.

Azure wished they could sit down and talk about this, and it was going to be very hard to talk to Dyas' back, but at least she had stopped. Azure already knew exactly what he was going to tell her, the truth, he didn't have to think hard about it anymore. "I'm going out with Adora so that I can be with you. I didn't want to lose you." That didn't sound like it made a whole lot of sence, but it was true. "I don't feel anything more for her then friendship. I didn't want your dad to get in the way of whatever we have... or had... I was or... well I am being selfish, and I screwed up. I know that." Azure sighed, not sure if any of this would even get through to her.

She winced, arms coming around her waist. So it was true. He was going out with Adora, because of the deal with raken. Now she felt sick. Did Adora only feel friendship as well? If she hurt her cousin...Dyas rubbed at her face with both hands, slowly turning around to look at azure, her entire body trembling. She wanted to ask why. Why didn't he tell her...why he was still going out with Adora...But as hard as she tried, no sound ever came out of her. Her voice box was forever closed for her.

Azure was relieved that she at least turned around and looked at him. He could tell something was still bothering, but he knew she was unable to voice anything that ever bothered her. But Azure didn't know what else to say. "I have to tell Adora the truth as well," he sighed. He wished he had never brought all these complications upon himself. "I'll understand if you hate me forever." Azure dropped his head, he really didn't want her to hate him though.

Slowly, she shook her head. Very slowly. The female started to walk towards him, her eyes on the ground infront of her. Hate him...forever? No...she couldn't do that. Her body felt dead as she stoped infront of the male, looking up at him. Her arms reached up to wrap around his neck. No...she couldn't do that. Dyas moved to her tip toes to softly kiss his lips. She loved him.

Azure raised his head and his eyes grew wide. Well that certainly didn't mean she hated him. He returned the pressure of the kiss once he got over the shock that she didn't hate him or wasn't mad at him. Azure was glad they were so close to the forest so that no one was around to see this. He still had to tell Adora and he knew Raken was somewhere at the party.

Vash laughed, "Oh, how I wish I was that smooth. I guess luck was just on my side." He put his arms around her and started to slow dance. "So, I'm thinking you did'nt tell Yuki about our date?"
"Yeah, now you fit in." Cutter walked over to the food and looked around, "Shrimp? Well, I was thinking something sweet." He was in the mood for cookies or cake.

Oh, she was still mad at him. Furious. But she had so much to say...and so little options to say it. Slowly she pulled back, taking his hand. The female started for the festival again. Oh, she was going to see to it personally that he explained everything properly to her cousin.
She lightly smiled, a blush forming under the veil as his hands settled around her. As they started to sway though, it died, the feline nodding. "I...wasn't exactly...'for' his and sylves...closeness." Her tail fell still, eyes lowering. She was the biggest hypocrite in the entire party, she bet.

What, they were going back to the party? Azure sighed, he really didn't want to go back. "But I took off my costume." Azure tried to make an excuse for himself though he hadn't been wearing much of a costume to begin with. Azure wasn't sure if they should be holding hands either, what if Raken saw? He might already be hurting Adora, he didn't want to get murdered by Raken too. Azure wasn't happy to be going back to the party, he still wasn't in the mood, but it was obviously what Dyas wanted.

Adora deserved to know right away. Adora never hurt anyone...she was never mean or hurtful...She didn't deserve this. And she was not comfortable with Azure having two girlfriends. If...she was even...concidered a girlfriend. That thought hurt. So she reached up and took the crown off of her head to place it ontop of his brown hair, letting go of his hand to instead hook her arm around his. The king and his mistress. It was a costume.
