Lol, I do the same thing.
During cruise, we had this pic of Bush coming onto an aircraft carrier and one of the sideboys saluted with the wrong had.
Needless to say, he was the laughing stock for like a week.

Don't feel sorry. We are trained to perform under stress with the ability to do the job right.
He messed up and it was his fault for not remembering the proper way to do it.
