Fury nods to Kail, acknowledging his comments. But his true focus is on the Fighter and his Demonic Sword.

Moving forward, Fury pulls his Blood Dagger, sacrificing 5 HP to increase his attack by 5. He then stabs out, dealing 5 damage, plus 1 from his dice. The Spiritual Fist manifests, slamming into Victor for 10 points of special damage. Then, as a parting shot, Fury uses Burn Out, spending 5 HP to deal 10 more points of special damage. Dancing Sword is unable to use an action, so simply attacks, dealing 5 points of damage. After all is said and done, 31 points of damage is inflicted on Victor Valentine. (I don't believe I get a team attack, as technically you have "held up" both of my combatants)

Victor's attack is truly massive, Dealing 16 points from his initial attack, and 20 more points from the Smash. He then uses his true action to stun
Dancing Sword, stopping it's Smash attempt. He follows up with 3 points of demonic damage to Dancing Sword, ending his attack. Ultimately, he does, 36 points to Fury, and 3 points to Dancing Sword.

Both Fury and Victor drop, unable to continue. Dancing Sword is wounded, but capable to continuing to the next round.

Dancing Sword: 2/5
AP: 1
MP: 1

Victor: 0/20
Fury: 0/25

*I believe this means I win the challenge. However, if you would like to ask a DM for confirmation, I have no issue with it.*

After a few moments Fury stirs, rising to his feet. Seeing Victor doing the same, he walks towards him. "An excellent match, Sir Valentine. You carry a powerful weapon at your side. Fortunately, I also have an edge. My pet Dancing Sword is a true ally. I thank you for challenge, it was an enlightening one. Beware the sword however, I sense that it bears nothing but malice for all living things. As is my custom, I offer you this Banner, as a memento of our training session."

I’m here to confirm that although I don’t see a problem with players making a “house rule” saying otherwise the DM ruling on pets in a PVP is that the pet has to be defeated as well. That stands unless otherwise stated by those in the fight beforehand.

The fight over, Fury returns to Kail, to continue their previous discussion. "Shiva and Ra? If I may ask, why would you seek to know more of them?"
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 7:37 pm

Kail watched the exchange of blows with intense interest. He had never seen Fury fight on his own before and it was a display to be seen. His challenger was no laughing matter either; he had never seen such a powerful blow before in his life. Kail waits for fury to recover not knowing if walking over to assist him would be interfering. Once fury stands up and comes over to him he leads to him to a place where they would be out of earshot. Kail says something in a low voice.

"Very well. Suffice it to say, I know the basic stories related to each, but have no direct knowledge relating to either. Other than Perrian's current benefactor. I don't know if she is the true Shiva or not, as we have not met. But please, continue."

"Your words are disturbing, to say the least. But what can mere men do to effect the affairs of the Gods? We mortals tend to be their pawns and playthings. What does this have to do with us?"

"The death of a god? What is this about?" Vincent says as he limps over to the two. His sword hangs limp at his side, attached only to his near-lifeless arm. However, he seems not to notice.

*By the way, those stats you placed on the banner have changed greatly since our fight. The new stats (FARGORE and another DM changed the sword to be more balanced) can be found in the special items list under 6 CP cost items, and my stats changed to the following:

Character Name: Vincent Valentine
Attack: 10 16
Defence: 0
Combat Die: None
Magic: 0
Life: 45 (9) 40( 8 )
Equip: Demonic Sword
Abilities: Regeneration x1
Items: Demonic Sword
Spells: None
Actions: Smash, Stunning Blow, Taunt
Money: 0

It really doesn't need to be changed, I'm not all that picky...just that it looks cool.*

Kail’igen once again becomes silent as the Vincent travels over to where they had purposely walked out of hearing distance. This was a personal conversation conversation and he didn’t want anybody else knowing of. After a moment Kail spoke up. “Sir, this is a private conversation and I would appreciate you not eavesdropping.”

((Guys, you cant just be walking by hearing this conversation, Kail'igen took Fury to a secluded spot to talk about with him about for a reason. He made sure no one else was around before starting this and would have shut up if anybody came close before they could hear anything. I can understand Vincent possibly hearing the last sentence I spoke as he wandered up but Perrain your character wasn't any where near and could not have heard any of of this conversation. I don't care if you read Fury and Kail's conversation, but realize there is no way for your character to know of this conversation and you cannot make him make decisions based off it.))

"Come, Perrian. This is a conversation that we are not welcome in and we must respect that." Vincent absently waves, then walks off into the treeline.

OK this has been brought to my attention. And although I hate to make a ruling on a role-playing aspect I’m going to have to say here that if a player can read it their character can hear it. If there is a conversation that is meant to be privet it should be conducted through a PM or privet message. So if you wish this to be secret I ask that you continue it in PM so that others can’t read it.
