"You know I don't know to tell you the truth," Mordred said as he laughed a little as she held tighter.
"They would probbly only come out at night since most of them might be pure vampire and can't come ut at all during the day," Mordred said as they looked over the city.

Aneres smiled, she was getting used to being up so high. "Okay. Is it okay if I come out tonight and look?" she puased. "I wanna ask them something." the vampire loosened her grip on the man as she looked. "I agree, this is a very good view." Aneres smiled.

"Well how this town works I'll have to come with you. Don't worry I'll just stay hidden in the shadows so you can talk to them, I mean I don't know how they would react with a demon in their mits," Mordred told her as they flew. This was the only time he really liked looking at the city.

"How does thi city work" Aneres asked when she moved far enough to where she could see his face. "It's fine with me but they'll know your there." the vampire pointed out.

The boy wasn't going to fall for that trick! The innocent 'oh, I'm going to leave you alone. And this neko's going to try to get you to eat poison-laced food' trick. He knew it. It had happened already and he had torn the neko's right ear from his head. They had managed to reattatch it, but Chase had felt particularly angry about the whole ordeal. He listened to the constant 'food' from the neko, wondering why he was being tortured. But the neko wasn't dropping dead from the fruit. . . Maybe he had orders to feed him the poisoned ones!
Chase barred his teeth, not able to get his snarl heard over the sudden grumble his stomach made. His expression drooped but he glared at the other all the same. He couldn't trust this other cat. He just couldn't. He had been brought in willingly, by the human. The cheetah raised boy twitched and suddenly fell forward, his arms giving way, forcing him face first into the sheets. He raised his nose out of the soft material, closing his ees momentarily and ignoring yet another 'food' from the kit.
"Shut up. . . " He muttered.

Ari sat there a few more minutes before glaring at the other and doing the crawl-walk over to the barred window. Sitting down, the neko looked up into the sky and sighed. He wanted so much to know what the real world was like and how real people lived. Being trapped in a room was nothing compared to the real world, as he was told so many times by other slaves brought in from that unknown place. Ari's sad crystal eyes looked down to the ground, grass and leaves. He had never touched either before. Sniffing the air, Ari sat back, laying down on the ground, and shutting his eyes. How badly he wanted to know what it was to be free. Of course, he had escaped many times, but that was never freedom. It was always being brought back to where they kept the slaves... Just to be thrown back in a cage. Scratching his blonde ear, Ari peeked at Chase and sniffled. "Mean," he whispered and looked up at the ceiling.

Chase's eyes flashed open. There had been perfect ssilence and he had just been inclined to leave the kit alone when he spoke. And one of the words he didn't want to hear. He forced himself up into a sitting position, glaring at the blonde boy with sharp green eyes.
"You don't even know the meaning of the word! Shut up before I make you cry."
His voice was no more than a harsh whipser, but it could be heard. He knew the extent of feline hearing, and it was pretty good. Like a dog's, or a bat's. His muscles protesting as he carefully and cautiously leaned forward and slid off the bed, he found himself on the floor within the few seconds, a resounding thump echoing through the room. Chase's eyes unfocused then snapped shut, his fangs gritted, his elbows locked in front of him.
He was trying to get the food that was openly given, and not forced down his throat. But if there was any sort of drug in those fruits and drinks, he would starve himself again. There wasn't any possibilty of him trying to live with himself when he was drugged. No sir-e!

"Cry?" Ari repeated and sat up. He watched the other make his way to the food, keeping clear of him. The neko was not in the mood to be hit. Carefully going over to the window, he sat down in the sill and sighed, his tail twitching at the tip. "Sky," he mumbled and looked up. He knew the words humans spoke and what they meant, but his vocal cords were not meant for that kind of speech. He wanted so badly to speak as humans did. Then they would understand him! Ari looked over at Chase again and grinned. "Good food," he said and grinned, remembering the fruit he had eaten. It had been a long time since he had last eaten something so good. He sighed heavily and shut his eyes, feeling sleep try to over come him. When was the last time he had a good night's sleep? Ages ago... As he was about to drift off into sleep, nightmares of the slavery stabbed itself into his mind, twisting around like a knife. He bolted, falling onto his face on the floor. Rubbing his nose, Ari sat up and grumbled.

Chase nodded sullenly at the neko, a bit less angry now. He was starting to suspect that he was like the younger Chase before he had met any humans. He could have only growled and whined then. The boy painfully crawled over to the fridge and sat himself down beside it. It was cool to the touch but he could not figure out how exactly to open it. After five attempts he finally opened the door and peered inside. There were things unfamilar to him in cans and bottles, packages and containers. He drew back slightly, then stabbed at the fruit on a small shelf with his. . . claws. He didn't have any claws. . . He made a frustrated noise and pulled the fruit out, stuffing it savagely into his mouth as he heard a thud.
Spinning around, his left hand outstretched as if in defense for his life, Chase saw the neko on the floor. His eyes followed him carefully as he sat up, eatting hte green skinned fruit with huge hungered bites, his guant face in the shadows. He didn't venture out into the sun just yet, having spent his few years in darkness, the light was irritating and bright. He stayed away from the window, but observed the neko with curious eyes. He hadn't spoken to a cat in years. . . Why not try now?
"Name?" He hissed questioningly, then grunted, pointing at himself with a fruit juice slick finger. "Chase."

"Name? Ari," the neko said and scratched his head. He looked at the fridge and what was in it. "Strange..." he muttered and crawled over and peered inside, grabbing one of the cans. He set it on the ground and poked it a few times, a clanging sound coming from it. He jumped back and hid behind one of the chairs, giving out a small hiss. But being the curious person he was, Ari was right back at the can, trying to find out what was in it. "Read?" he asked Chase and looked at the other. "C-Can... You read?" He pointed to the can and the writing all over it.
Outside the door, Nikon listened in. He was glad they were not fighting... Just a bit longer. He just hoped they would not fight. They seemed to be eating from the sounds he heard. Oh well, they were learning quickly. He walked back over to his desk and went back to work. "They'll be okay. They just need to eat and get settled in," he assured himself and went to work. Back inside the room, Ari got frustrated with the can and left it sitting there.

"Thats an odd rule...you'd think there would be more." she paused. "Why is there only one rule?" Aneres asked as she was sat down, she reallt hadn't noticed that they were returning back to the mansion. "Okay but you might want to stay quiet...I'm not sure how they'll react to you." The vampire looked at him. "Most vampires don't react well to....other races but those are the ones that have been in cages for a long time."

Chase tensed his shoulders. The clanging was loud and sharp. It had startled him, and obviously Ari as well since the neko had leapt back. He didn't though, sill being tired and wanting to stay inactive as long as possible. And that didn't include snarling and clawing a strange humans who might have aided in killing his parents! And this room smelled of human. . . His cat-like eyes followed the neko, and he shook his he disapprovingly while licking his fingers clean.
There wasn't much of a difference between the wild cat and the house cat, except for the attack strategies and the noises. The curiousity was just the same, so Chase was eyeing the can as well. He hadn't learned to read, but he knew one or two words from stalking travellers who got to close to the cheetah territory.
The boy blinked, yawning widely, then glared hard at the dor before painfully crawling under the bed. He gave a small grunt at Ari, then closed his eyes and curled up, putting his cheek on his arm which were crossed in front of him. The matress was unusal, sp he didn't take to it. Maybe he'd use it for a litter box . . . Heh heh. The boy was dozing off now, getting used to the warm and the dim light of the place where he was.

"No offense to you but I couldn't care less what they think. I'm going and they are just going to have to deal. I mean its not like I'm human," Mordred said as he walk into the masion((hey sorry for the sudden leaveing last night))
