((Yea, its ok, I understand that kind of stuff, I still live with my parents, and yea lol... It doesn't help that I am only 18 with a minimal wage job lol... >.<))
The hound that Zarxis had blasted dark energy at, just ignored it, and continued on its path towards the food. While chasing her, it slipped on a lose rock, and fell to the ground, slamming its head on the ground howling in pain. It just laid there, and didn't move, only howled.
The other hound was still attacking random people. It noticed Zarxis attacking the other hound, when it fell, then it charged at Zarxis, letting out a howl, as it got closer, and closer, gaining speed.
"Whats with these things!?!?" Kartea shouted out as he decided to ignore the one that fell, and snapped its spine, and threw his spear at the other hound, just barely hitting it's hind leg, making it stumble, only slowing it down some.

Kyo sidestepped the dog's attack. He then thrust his sword into the ground, and the pulled it out swinging his sword at the dog. Dirt and sand flew at the dogs face, Kyo was trying to blind it. Kyo then ran at the dog, trying to strike it down, with one vertical slash.
((hmmm...was that ok?))

((Whew, I though I was in trouble there for a moment, but thanks for clearing that up. I promise it won't happen again.))
Hiral had little time to pull out Kala as the other hound broke form the vines and leapt at him. Holdind Illia and Kala on a cross he kept the hound far enough from his face, but the dog was strong and heavy, and he couldn't hold it up for long. It howled at something, which gave Hiral enough time to line himself for a kick to it's stomach. The dog yelped as it went back, he saw it's wound and looked at Kartea. He gave a quick "Thanks" and saw another one going fo the food. Aiming Illia, he took a few shots at the hound. Only one shot barely grazed one of it's front legs, but it kept going for the food. Hiral then ran and jumped onto the hound, determined to keep the food safe.

Zarxis readied himself for some close combat with the hound charging him. "Looks like I'll just have to put in a little more effort this time." His eyes and gauntlets are then enveloped in a dark purple/ navy glow that seems to radiate darkness. He crouches and gathers energy as he waits for the dog to close enough for him to launch a punch.
((Should my char do more in future posts? I'm kinda new to rping and I didn't want to do too much in a post.))

The hound that was on the ground, started to howl still, as if to call for help. It was getting louder and louder.
The dog that Kyo had attacked, had been cut opened and its brain started to ooze out form its wound in its head. That one was dead.
The last one that Hiral had jumped onto had stumbled to the ground, and struggled to get out, only to get further stuck.
Uhhhh... Master... The one that is on thr ground, is calling out to other hounds, there are about twenty of them coming from the west...
What!?! You have to be kidding me!!!
Kartea had stopped chasing the one that went after Zarxis, and grabbed his staff, of from his back, and whacked the hound out side of its head. "Shut up!" He let out as he whacked it again. "Finish off that hound, and we should get out of here, now, there may be more coming..." He said as he grabbed his spear again, and put it onto his back.
((Yea, that is good. It is better than before, just be careful, because later on, it will get much harder...))

Zarxis lunged at the hound, and his gauntlet covered fist connected with the hound's skull. The violent transfer of energy sent bolts of darkness arcing through its body. It collapsed and ceased its movement, and its eyes rolled to the back of its head. "And thats how you show a dog who's the alpha male!" Zarxis shouted, unable to resist the urge to make some sort of cheesy comment.

"although it was a bad comment, can we please, get moving? I don't like the looks of these challengers!"Ax yells while taking out his gun and aiming at a dog while running backwards, he pulls the trigger and it goes flying toward one of the new dogs."god I hope my aim wasn't off....of all the times to miss this would not be a good one." He fires again and again while trying to dodge things in front of him he couldn't see.

"We need to get a move on, I don't want to have to fight more of these things, if needed." He said as he started to run some, but the hounds kept getting closer non stop. They wouldn't slow down or anything. Guess I have to do this then...
Thinking that to himself he clapped his hands, and fell to the ground. A eary green glow started to enimate from the ground.
"I suggest you all run!"
With that, the ground started to mold into a weird looking mound of dirt, that started to turn a pale green, then fell into the ground, creating a pool of green sludge. "That should slow them down." With that, he got back up weakly, and started to run. "Come on all!"

"We have no time!" Hiral managed to peirce the underside of the hound he was wrestling and it collapsed to the ground. Running over to the group he saw Kartea moving weakly. "Nali, help me with him. He needs to rest." Hiral put one of Kartea's arms around him and began moving as fast as he could. He could hear the hounds barking behind them, he looked back to see them stuck in the sludge.

"Yes, I am fine, it just took a lot of energy to do that." He said as he felt Hiral help him some. "Thank you for your help." He continued to move with them, as they continued to run.
The hounds where stuck in the sludge that was there, and it started to fade some. Some of the hounds even managed to get free, but where too slow to even catch up to the group.
