"I am a True Necromancer." Robert explained as he reached into his robe again and took out his gold rimmed monocle. "In short, I my magic's are both divine and arcane. I do tend to specialize in necromancy however, but that doesn't mean I don't have other spells at my disposal."
With that he donned the monocle, safely securing it behind his ear. When it was set, Robert said a few words of power, casting detect magic on the rings that seemed to hover in front of him.
"Now, let me see the nature of these rings..."
((The artificers monocle allows me to know what an items abilties are as if I had cast identify on it, so long as I cast detect magic on it and study it.))

((well, i had figured that someone may have had something like that, but I wasn't sure, so I figured I'd just show myself for the time being.))
Darastrixen struggles to keep the sarcasm out of his next words.
Well, the gloves may have been quite polite, as you put it, but dragging us here again our will is certainly not. I am personally aware that, in several places, it is illegal even. You will forgive me for being upset.
That human back there, Robert was it? Seems to have a problem with a superiority complex. Perhaps I should put one of my signature "surprises" in his pillow before he goes to sleep. But not a moment before we get out of here; I get the feeling that we will be needing his talents. That bundle of shiny adamantine seems to have an admirable attitude at least.
Darastrixen passes a hand over himself and again vanishes from view, though he currently makes no effort to hide the sound of his beating wings from the others.

Okay, first off, to describbe the rings: They are plain iron bands. 2, just to shorten the time, they are all the same type of ring. 3, make a will save(this has nothing to do with the rings, this is for my own thing)

when you look closer at the halfling, you notice that he is wrapped in a black cloak that seems to shimmer and blend with the darkness near him, and he wears a headgear of a strange matter. his arms are covered in gauntlets that seem overwhelming for him, and chains wrap hims arms and disappear into the depths of his clothing. he has blonde hair, and none facial, and looking closer, you see his right eye emblazoned with red, and his left, frostened with cold blue. he wears travelers gear except his boots look as though they are made of the finest material and crafted form the best tailor in the land. when he spoke, it frightened you by how much of a higher pitch of voice he had, rather than most of the halflings that are found in these lands. his nature seems very merry and joking, but his looks make him a very dark and mysterious person.

you also detect a humanoid presense made of magic, although I think you already would know this.
"hmm....there is only one way out of here, and there is no way that you could break through these walls, even if you are a hunk of metal...

When the ring is handed to him, Hale looks at it suspiciously.
Say, er, the maker of the undead. What effect are these rings having, eh? I am not wanting to be trusting myself to person who simply walks in door!
When engulfed by the breath weapon, Hale looks immensely pleased, strangely enough.
Ha! So you are being a small dragon! I am liking this Kobold more and more! Almost is making me feel bad for those Kobolds I killed. Almost! Haha! Oh, now he's gone again!
At the automatons comment Hale cocks his head and looks at it critically
Ah, so you are made of the metal, yes? Do you not rust in the rain tinman? And if you would like to stay here as bored as a chairman, then do so! I am not liking your tone, but I am thinking you may have talents that are setting you apart, so Hale will be reserving his judgement.
Hale is beginning to look impatient now, eager to go out the door.
