BakaTulip's Screenplay Philippe: From the smell of the envelope, I'd say it is from a young lady. Raoul: I'd appreciate it if you didn't sniff my mail. Oh and to the GB/ER department I think ER was a "meh" singer but she is an even shittier person. And GB was specifially chosen because he did NOT have an opera voice but because he had a rock-and-roll voice, and that is what ALW wanted... I don't like ALW as a person either...

Well, this isnt really from Phantom but is related:
Quote: I feel incredibly sorry for Erik, I feel terrific compassion for him. And I think the audience must also, because I have never seen such a reaction from men and women alike. They enjoy it in an emotional way. It's as though anyone who has ever felt love will come out crying. They feel sympathy towards that man's plea, that cry he makes at the end. Even Kate, my dresser, wept when she saw it. I felt it all from the music Andrew wrote-from day one, when he played the first six bars, that was when I felt the man for the first time. It was the overture, and every night when it starts up it still puts the hair on the back of my hand on end. As I hear it coming over the sound systemI stand up in the dressing room for it, it's just like the anthem to me. -Michael Crawford I read this in the book The Complete Phantom of the Opera Lol...now I call the Overture "Michael Crawford's Anthem" I'm weird...ya.

PhantomoftheFox "Hell is full of burning boats, Nadir. I daresay that's what makes it so bloody hot." -SK Erik "Only love and music are forever." "Not forever!" -RE!Erik and his Christine Deluge of Charles Dance Movie quotes! Because he's the squishiest, wittiest Erik ever. "It's alright. You're with me now." -Erik "They were warned. The man went where he shouldn't, I had no choice-" "Yes you did! You could have let him go!" "And then he'd have gone right back up and they'd be down after me in a second. Why did you let him go down there?" "I didn't know he was going down." "But it's your job to know!" - The inimitable CD!Erik arguing with his manager about the death of a stagehand. "My God, the place really is haunted, what is that?" "Well, without looking, I can say with confidence... It must be Carlotta." "Who?" "The new star." "But... but she can't sing!" "Obviously she doesn't know that." "Well, someone should tell her." -Erik and his manager again. "She's married to the new manager." "Good God. That means she's probably going to sing all the time. What kind of horror are you leaving me in?" -Erik gives his opinion on Carlotta. "Erik, what are we going to do about all this?" "I know what to do about it... I'll kill them both." "Eriiik..." "Oh, I'm teasing. Probably the only one I need to kill is her." "Erik!" "What has happened to your sense of humor?" -Erik and the manager disagree on a plan of action. "I suppose she'll be choosing the opera season too?" "The way I understand it, she plans to run everything." "Right. ...Well, that settles it, I'm coming with you." -and agree on something mutually beneficial. "Sometimes I forget that I'm fit for nowhere but these gloomy vaults, bereaved of light. Like blackness itself. For I am blackness itself, aren't I? Where are my golden tents? Where are my lambs rejoicing?" -Erik angsts. "Good morning! Did you sleep well? I like that room. Good cozy bed, pleasant water view... So, what shall we do today? Oh, I have an idea! How about a picnic?" -Erik is far too cheerful in the morning. "Erik, if I sing for you will you grant me a favor?" "No." "Why not?" "Because you must sing for love and joy, not for gain. I will grant you a favor regardless of what you do, just tell me what it is you wish." -Christine tries to wheedle something out of Erik and finds it easier than anticipated. "Do you like these woods of mine?" "Yes, very much." "They stretch on almost forever... Come, there's a path over here. One can get quite hopelessly lost in these woods if one does not know the path, or have a guide who does." -Erik gives Christine the creeps with his underground forest. "Shh... The morning birds! Pheasant too, I hear. Squirrels, foxes, rabbits, all playing most harmoniously, like this magic music... You are magic too, I think." "Oh, no... I don't think that." "I can tell. Magic is my friend. Magic cannot hide from me." -Erik, friend of magic. " You've seen my face! No one who's seen my face gets out of here alive, I thought everybody knew that!" -Erik looses his temper. "All in all it wasn't that bad... being born. Because I could hear music and I heard Christine." -Erik sums up his life. "Come back in... a day." -Erik tells his father when to bury him. Mildly disturbed that I did all those from memory without any hesitation. I have to go watch that movie now. *scampers off* gonk *SCREAMS*

YAY, I'm loved! heart Quote: CD!Erik has the coolest quotes. Zomg, he does, doesn't he? I adore that movie to bits. I want to hug the person who wrote his dialogue. And Charles Dance for delivering it so perfectly... Also, you must download my soundtrack to it when it has been completed. ~ "Mademoiselle, last night I heard you singing. I know you- you... you thought you were alone, but you were not. You have the most astonishing voice. It is like an angel's. Exquisite in tone and shape... in fact, in almost every single detail! Except, but forgive me, it is obviously untrained. Now, without training your voice, beautiful though it is, can never achieve the heights for which I know it is destined. Now, if you will allow me, I can help you. I am a musician... of sorts." -Erik is awkward with the ladies. "No, please! I would appreciate it greatly if you were to stay exactly where you are! There is a condition. And this condition is invaluable... I have never taken on any students. For, until last night, I never wanted to. And if others should hear that I am giving lessons... well, they will want them too. So if you will allow me to be your guide, and I sincerely hope that you will, I must insist that I remain... anonymous. Which is why I'm wearing this mask!" -Erik gives a random, half-assed excuse. Christine: "Did you see what happened to Carlotta?" Erik: "No, what?" Christine: "Her debut was a disaster." Erik: "Oh! That's too bad..." - Erik feigns concern. "He is not worthy of you." "Why?" "Because he comes to the opera for the wrong reasons. He comes for the beauty of faces rather than the beauty of music." -Erik's reasons for disliking Philippe. "Up there is where hell is, and I will not send an angel to hell!" -Erik's reason for not returning Christine. "Good evening, madame. I have something for you; rats, for a rat!" -Erik takes his revenge on Carlotta. Christine: "Maestro, there's one thing you've not told me. Where do you live?" Erik: "When you sing I live in the heavens, and when you do not... down below." -Erik is ironic. Erik: "Christine, this time with you is the closest I have ever been to bliss and I'm satisfied with that." Christine: "Oh, but there's more-" Erik: "Oh, I'm sure... but not for me!" -Erik is satisfied with the relationship. Erik: "... what did you think when you saw it?" Gerard: "I thought it could have been better." Erik: " rolleyes " - Erik and Gerard discuss his face and Erik gives the best eyeroll in history. "No, no, no! 'Zis is poison... not soup! You are drinking it because you want to kiiiill yourself... not to enjoy a meal! 'Zat's because you despair... not HAPPY! Take it from la la la la!" -The random conductor guy, who isn't Erik but rocks anyway. "I am not the Phantom! I am MEPHISTO!" -Jean Pierre, the basso profundo who also rocks, but is quite insistant that he isn't Erik.

"Bah, I'm just not used to killing people. It's thrown me off a bit." -CD!Erik
I skip the long musical sequences at the beginnings of each act. *shrug*
Awesome movie, though. The soprano who dubs Christine is amazing. Actually, all the dubs are amazing. It is in tribute to the fantastic dubs that I make my unofficial soundtrack to the movie, containing many wonderful opera sequences. MmmmmMichelle Lagrange...
But what's this? We have a page without quotes from the Waterbearer film? It must be rectified! Totally paraphrasing the quotes here, since I haven't seen the film in a while. Feel free to step in with corrections.
"Is this where you live?" "Where would you have me live, Christine? Shall I take a flat on the Place de la Concorde?" - Staller!Erik is also witty.
"I get woozy at the mere thought of poverty!" -Carlotta will not do a benefit concert.
"What a b***h." -Staller!Erik gives his opinion on Carlotta.
"Exaltation cannot be a full time occupation. She knows that, why can't you see it?" "I see everything, Daroga." -The Daroga exists.
"I am... whatever you want me to be." -Staller!Erik's pick up line.

PhantomoftheFox Erik: "... what did you think when you saw it?" Gerard: "I thought it could have been better." Erik: " rolleyes " - Erik and Gerard discuss his face and Erik gives the best eyeroll in history. gonk Random thought; in the original Y&K soundtrack that the Charles Dance version was based off of... instead of rolling his eyes, Erik laughs. I was just thinking of that. I get so sad whenever I hear that. gonk It's such a happy, normal laugh. You feel so bad for him if you know what's yet to come. And if you know what's already passed. (Which yous hould know by that point. sweatdrop ) But... just to hear him laugh like that, like a normal, everyday person... It's heart-wrenching. Or maybe that's just me that thinks that. gonk heart
