Drake then marched up to her and gave her a slap. "Well if you want to live your life alone, then fine. Just knw that you did have a chance to change." He said before leaving.

Torikimaru slapped Alli upside the head. "Fine, stay in darkness the rest of your life!" he yelled. A lightning bolt hit Torikimaru and he was gone.

Alli stayed there, trying to remember the last time that words had stung that much. She sat down by a tree, trying to think.
"Mom..." She muttered, tears falling again. She hoped that none of the heroes would pop up, but part of her wished they would. She closed her eyes thinking back. She pulled her knees up to her chest, and cried.

Drake looked back, and looked at his hand. "God, i was never meant to do this." He said to himself. He then sat down beside her and looked at her sadly. "Hey, listen, i'm sorry, alright? I never should have hit you."

She lifted her head up, looking away. "I needed it anyways." She said quietly. "My mom dropped me off at the orphanage when I was five ok? She promised she'd come back for me soon..." She managed to say.

Drake looked down. "ATt least your parents are still out there somewhere." He looked at his hands. " These hands keep reminding me i'm never going to see mine again." He said quietly

Alli pulled her knees up to her chest. "Her name appeared in the obituaries three months ago..." She whispered. "What happened to you?"

"My parents also died. In an accident." He said. "I was the only one who survived the doctors told me. These hands always remind me of that day." He said, seeing his hands. "But at least i was able to move on." He looked at Alli. "And if you need to move on, i can help you along the way."

Drake looked at her. "You just have to realize that your mother would be proud of who you are right now." He then pointed to himself. "And you also have some help." He said cheerfully.
