The demon watched Jadelyn and Kamiru with immense pleasure behind his ugly yellow eyes. Flies zoomed around the bar, irritating the other patrons immensely, but the customers gave it no further though. Quiet as a mouse, the demon slithered to the back alley and transformed. The scaly green skin turned smooth, the yellow eyes turned a beautiful clear gray. The demons nose, which were only two vertical slits on his face, turned into a ruler-straight nose. Beautiful red hair fell upon his eyes. The demon took the appearance of an earnest young gentleman in a travelling cloak.
The demon eyed his reflection in a broken mirror haughtily. "Jussst for a while, till I get the pendant from the tastiessss." He coughed, and assumed a gentle, soothing voice that one would immediately like upon hearing.
He entered the bar. The roaches rioted, appearing from the bar's dirty floorboards. Some women complained. Sundavar silently went up to Jadelyn and Kamiru.

Jadelyn placed her hand on Kamiru's arm, glancing up at him with a soft smile. "I know you want privacy, but you shouldn't be out alone." She arched her brow as she heard some of the women in the bar voicing complaints, her hand tightening on Kamiru's arm. Her skin felt like it was crawling and she almost jumped when she felt something skitter across her foot. Glancing down she noticed a roach running across the floor and she gave a slight shudder. She bit her lip as she looked up at Kamiru, arching a brow at him.

~[Kryssi Katt]~ Iana_Rosterbom Nightingale fidgeted a bit. "I'm sorry if this topic is very uncomfortable for you I didn't mean to pry. I just have this strange tendency to be very curious and ask alot of questions even about little things." She bowed her head a little and then smiled a bright smile (if such a thing existed in vampires) and said, "The Grand Tour would be nice." "I did not mean to make you feel awkard. I do not mind answering whatever questions you ask, so please don't worry about such things." He grinned cheerfully, "I don't bite." From a vampire, such a phrase meant little more than a claim of being harmless, although no one was ever completely bengin. Mostly he had meant it as a joke, but he was so accustomed to dealing with humans that he wondered if it would be noticed as such. "The Grand Tour it is then, mi'lady," he said with a small bow, looking over to Zareb curiously. "You do not know the city well, either, do you? Would you like to join us? You're more than welcome to." //After all, I wouldn't want you getting lost. I still don't know where that snake-demon is.//He voiced the last in silence, not really wanting Nightingale to know about what he thought was a minor threat to the people of his city. The demon seemed to be nothing he could not handle, so why bother worrying the lady? After all, Zareb was there. Surely Nightingale would not be in any danger with a vampire and a half-demon protecting her, if she even needed it. He was not so certain that she did. Zareb looked at Kryss "Sure let's go" he replied cheerily I just hope we dont run into that demon....we should be fine, Kryss is here, and i can handle my own...oh well Zareb stepped on the curb and waited for the others

I just like wandering out at night. It's relaxing for me." Kamiru paused to catch his breath, and nearly swallowed a fly in the process. He coughed, and then regained his breath. "Where did all of these flies come from...can I help you?" Kamiru said, noticing Sundavar for the first time.

She shuddered again, fighting the urge to rub at her arms. "I hate bugs.." She muttered as she followed Kamiru's gaze, smiling softly as she noticed the newcomer. She kept herself at Kamiru's side, hand placed softly on his arm, feeling uneasy about the appearance of all the insects.

Luca was worried. He knew there was something that just...wasn't right, going on in the bar across the street from him. There had to be something wrong, if not something supernatural - the place was being mobbed by insects! He opened his briefcase, putting the .22's inside the pockets on either side of his parka, and headed towards the bar.

Zareb stepped on the curb and waited for the others
He smiled a bit and a nodded of his head as he thought about where the nicest place in the city would be.
The clubs he tended to visit most often made the half-blood uncomfortable and the only person he knew who could ever be found in a bar was driving around again with his 'friends' who knows in what state. Most of the movies had already started and he was in a mood for walking, not sitting.
The museams had closed at nine, save the infamous Masoleam that lived up to its name well. The library was not all that interesting unless you were willing to spend some time there reading, in which case they had nearly every book in existance, a special room for ancient original manuscripts and other unique texts.
The park never closed, of course, and there was a perfect view of the city lights as well as the stars from there.
"How does the park sound, mi'lady? I believe it is one of the most beautiful places in this city."

"It certainly is in my opinion." Luca said to whoever it was standing on the curb outside the bar. Wasting no time, he began to introduce himself, "I'm Luca, from the Giovanni Clan...err...family." He silently cursed himself at the slip of his tongue. It would have been a serious breach of the Masquerade, let alone his own Clan values, to reveal himself to any non-Kindred. Out of common sense, he had to assume this man was not

//Don't worry so much. I know what you are.//
He spoke aloud as he whispered to Luca's mind, not sure if he wanted to confuse the newly dark or keep him from worrying.
"I've heard of the Giovanni," he said with a not entirely friendly look on his face, but he was trying to be understanding. "Necromancers, aren't they?"
He managed a smile, but his eyes did not hide his distaste for those who raised the dead. The rotting corpses of the deceased should be left alone to enjoy death in peace.
This one was young, he decided, but he couldn't be sure. The natural shielding of the Kindred seemed strong enough to hide much of his aura. Then again, Kryss really was not bothering to question Luca's existance.

His eyes narrowed, he'd suddenly had one of those fight-or flight responses of a newly Embraced, but kept it under control.
Think Necromancers are evil, do you? He retorted, but realized his didn't actually say anything. He stood in a daze for a few seconds, but quickly recovered.
"So, what's with all the bugs?" he asked.

Sundavar crept closely to the young couple. He getly smoothed out his crimson hair that fell on his eyes. "Good evening." he greeted Jadelyn and Kamiru, malice gleaming from his beautiful eyes. "I was wondering if you could help me. I am a traveller, and I am not accostomed to this place yet."
The bugs rioted more than ever. Maggots spilled from the beer and soup the bar patrons ordered. Kamiru's own glass overflowed with them. The bugs felt the demon's glee; they scurried around the place frantically.

//Not evil, necessairly. Just annoying. What's so bad about leaving the dead alone?//
"There's a full-blooded demon in the city. Apparently it has control over insects."
His eyes followed the flight of a moth that fluttered around the streetlamp, watching it land and fly again and again before turning his attention back to the people around him.
"We were just leaving this space for a grand tour of my city, if you would like to accompany us," he said, doing his best to appear friendly and succeeding fairly well. "I do not believe you have been decently acquainted with my city, either."

My buisness is mine alone, you mess with the Giovanni Clan and you're in some deep s**t. He continued the mental banter in his mind, but kept the actual speech very polite.
"A tour of the park? Lovely," he answered, snatching a fly out of the air, "though I daresay I've just seen it, I'll go with you anyways."

He laughed silently, keeping his amusement to his own mind so as not to offend the newly Embraced.
//It was merely a question, Kindred. I could care less what your Clan does or doesn't do as long as you leave what is mine to me.//
He had no desire to see the dead roaming the streets of his city, but then he did not believe such a thing would ever happen. In the deepest pages of the unread books of law, there was a mention of zombies. In common terms, it banned them entirely, but no one enforced such a law because the officials never knew of any raised dead. They knew very little of anything unnatural.
"Not the park specifically, but I thought it would be a nice place to start. The cemetary is beautiful, as well, but I do not know which would be more suited to our lady's tastes," he said, watching Nightingale for her response.
The cemetary closely resembled that of the Lafayette Cemetary in New Orleans, with towering stone andgels and massive family crypts that had been built centuries ago. At least two had been there before he had been born as a mortal, and that was well over six-hundred years ago. It was not much older than he; the city had been a simple village when he had been mortal.

I didn't mean to be so rude, there. I just don't much like to be criticised. And what of this law against Necromancy? That doesn't sound right. Though I haven't summoned anything myself, I'll at least have a chance to contact some souls soon enough.
He smiled at this and said "Before we leave, we must wait a moment for my retainer, Seizan, he should be here very soon."
