The explosion sent a ripple out and shook the ladder that Alathea had been holding on to, she fell in to the dumpster, although the paper had softened the fall her arm had hit the side of the bin as she fell. Turning her head to Elia
"Okay that was cool, but OW!" She moves her arm in circles making sure it isn't broken, "Right well I think it is okay, gonna be a bit bruised though."

Elia laughed and jumped out of the dumpster but as soon as her foot touched the pavement she fell back. She looked at her knee and saw she had sprained it and it had started to bleed. She ripped a piece of her shirt and tied it around her knee. "Well, as long as you're not that hurt." she said standing up and putting the pressure on the uninjured knee. "We should get moving. I only have two bullets left"

"Yeah definitely. Alathea jumped out of the bin and looked around her. "Which direction should we go? I wonder if that guy is still stupidly roaming the streets." Alathea laughed to herself. Funny how some things now amuse your mind. She shrugged.

Elia laughed along with her. "Well...let's just get out of here. We'll figure something out later." she said and limped to the end of the alley they were in. She poked her head out and looked out in both directions. "And as for that guy...There is no sign of him...or anything." she said and waved her over. She stepped out and looked around. Everything was either broken or destroyed. She saw a huge store like Walmart at the end of the block and began to limp over in that direction. There has to be a gun area in that place she thought.

((This is gonna sound dumb and it is not much of a post but I don't know what a Walmart is, so I can't really reply much.))
Alathea followed Elia, she kept going to help her walk but didn't know if it would be welcomed or denied. In the end she decided she should help, "Here do you want to lean on me a little? You need to rest your leg a little at least."

((Lol. Don't worry about it. Walmart is a big Store, you could say. It has everything from clothes to groceries to hunting equipment mrgreen ))
Elia smiled at Alathea. "Thanks, but I can manage. It's just a little sprain." she said. They were entering the parking lot now. So far no survivors, and that wasn't at all any good news. "I don't see anyone else." she said to Alathea a bit worried. "Not anyone..."
((You know what sucks...that this thread is trying to die...even its creator hasn't posted sad ))

"It's not good when there is no one at all, and shouting will definitely be a bad idea. I don't think being out in the open like this is a good idea, we should try and get in as quickly as possible." Alathea quickened her pace and tried to step as lightly as possible. "Hopefully there is enough left in here for us to use."

Elia nodded and quickened her own pace. At the entrance the door slided open without a problem and she quickly got in. Everything inside was a disaster almost as if a tornado had come in "Well atleast we don't have to pay." she said.

Alathea looked inside the store, it was trashed.
I hope we can find what we need and nobody has already raided what we want.

((It's started again!!! xd ))
Terrence wandering the streets sees a police officer with a large wound on his chest. Concerned he walked over to him and then notices the wound is actually a mouth and the officer was a mutant. Pointing the gun directly at the head of the officer, fireing several shots that echoed through the streets.

Alathea had heard an echo,
"Was that a gun shot? Is there someone alive, well alive and not mutated that is?"
Alathea stuck her head outside the Walmart to see if she could see anyone.

Turning t see that he alerted a large crowd of zombies Terrence runs as fast as he can to Walmart. Seeing a girl stick her head out he feels relieved that he isn't alone. "Get back inside!" he yelled while running t the doors and closing them.

Elia turned around hearing gun shots. "Well alive or not. We aren't much help unless we got something with us." she said and started to walk as fast as she could towards the hunting area. Fortunately she didn't meet anything on her way there. And to add to her happiness there were guns, bullets, knifes, bow and arrows in stock. "A girl's dream." she said smiling and walked over to the counter to pull out a gun.

Alathea ducked back inside as a boy ran in.
"Elia, where'd ya go, we have company, cute company." Alathea giggled as she realised that she would have headed for the hunting section,
"The hunting knives are mine, you can have the guns!"
