Ryu soon saw the symbols in the air, and smiled a huge dragon smile. "Cleaver" he said to himself. He followed the symbol to where it was coming from, and circled over head. This caused alarms to sound and people to hurry to towers and such. Ryu could only smirk at this sight. he saw Aideen, and thought to himself since those under my rule have decided to offen one of the land masters, I think it fitting to let the offended distribute punishment. With that he shot four bolts down, striking at the torture devise they had set up for her, and at the hinges to the door of her prison. Feel free to slaughter the lot, as a gesture of my apologies for such rudenes of my subjects behavior. was his mental message to her.

Many of the women and younger children fled into the nearby woods, the men from teens to still healthy elders, and a few younger women, remain, maybe a hundren in all, each bringing arrows and spears, regular and enchanted, to bare on both Aideen and Ryu. Ryu takes pot shots at some of their number, and snarls when he finds a few arros do score hits in his tail. Careful lady Aideen, some of their weapons can pierce out hides, he sent to her. the hunters from earlier all made themselves present, to two of which charged Aideen, the thrid, the leader, was in fact barking order to the other hunters and warriors that were still alive and fighting, clearly this one was the village chief.

Ryu continued to strike from above, hitting those that got too near Aideen now that she was dealing with those she was after. The two hunter that had charged her dodge and slashed at her, but eventually she'd landed her swipes right and took them down. The leader of the village however lanuched a suprize at Aideen, his sword point at her, a jagged bolt of lighting shot out and hit her square in the body with the force of a charging dragon. Clearly this man was versed in spellcraft "That's still no excuse for killing him our right beast, and now I'll make you pay in kind." Another jagged bolt loosed from his sword to Aideen.

Their leader now dead, the remaining warriors were in a frenzy now, shooting arrows and swinging swords at her, many just bounced off her dragon scales, but a number of arrows and sword cut and pierced her flesh. Ryu watched this for several moments. When he saw Aideen was getting quite cut up and bloodied, he decided enough was enough. He then opened his jaws and loosed bolt after bolt of lightning towards the villagers, making sure not to accidentally hit Aideen. When finally the last of the warriors was dead, Ryu dived down and scooped up the by now badly wounded dragon, dispite any protest she offers. He then winds his way back to his palace, Aideen held secure in his claws.

Ryu smirked at the flick from her tail, and was thankful his garden had an open area for her to rest in, as he did try to take good care of his garden. He shifted to his human form before landing. Aideen might be small enough for his garden, but he was by far too big in dragon form. He looked to Aideen and gave a nod "you are welcome lady Aideen.

Finding a shady area Aideen curled up under a tree. Her peace was disturbed but a growling cat, causeng her to wearly look up and bear her canines before curling up to clean the wound on her rear legs and tail, picking the flesh from between her toes.
She really wanted to be in one of the lakes in her boreders and immerse herself in its cool water, but instead there was only a koi pond so she hasd to do with preening.
Eventually she rested her head on the grass and slept.

((just to let you know, My work schedule is going to be changed for a while, starting next week I'll be working from 6pm-6am (US central time zone) ok))

As Aideen rested, Ryu went to the cage enclosed mini forest where Lyoko and Kari were at, quietly entering so as not to disturb the cats slumber. he says in a hushed voice to Lyoko "The dragon you see if Lady Aideen, one of four Territory masters in this area, the others of Queen Aracna, whom dwells within a great canyon bordering Mine and Aideen's lands, and one Kumouri Kage, who is lord of the forest to the north." Ryu then thinks a moment and asks "You didn't by chance run into Kumouri, cause judging by the direction you were heading when I met you on the road, I would say you would have at least been through his land."
