He smirked at her perplexed face after he had mentioned the german language. He just shrugged his shoulders. "Never mind." He said with a laugh. But as she continued to call him baka he narrowed his eyes. "You are lucky you're stronger than me Hikari. Because if you weren't, my zanpakutou would show your 'Munashii' who is the baka around here." He said, sticking out his tongue at her. "Right before the battle huh? Well that's pretty cool." He said with a smile. He was excited for her, but he still wished he could attain the same status. "I am going to grow really strong too." He said with a happy grin. "I will become so strong that me and my zanpakutou won't even need bankai to be the best." He said with a bright smile.

I can hear myself laugh inwardly. The lower districts were so far out of reach that the most fearsome reputation somebody could create would never reach ears outside that district and maybe a few round abouts. This Koasu didn't even flinch when he heard mention of the lower ten. I do have to agree on what he's said. "Yes. Appearances truly are deceiving." Rubbing the gruff of my chin, I think on his age. "The youth are exceptional." With a careful eye, I observe the young girl as she carries on her conversation with another man of the Seireitei. As a vagabond, I doubt I'd be able to keep up with these most impressive youths. With a shake of my head, the life of her eyes is so familiar. I turn back to Koasu with a light sigh. "Is that sixteen within Soul Society or as a whole?"

Hikari can only look at Haro with a confused expression. If he really wanted to spar, why didn't he just do it now rather than threaten it? It's not as if they've been told that fighting is out of the question. As he continues about growing strong, bankai, and zanpakutou, she thinks on how it is that shikai breaks the mold of their zanpakutou into a new form. With quiet words, her thoughts escape. "Their forms really are seals. They can't express themselves like this, so they need us to grow strong. Without bankai, a zanpakutou has only an incomplete form." She looks up the the sky, glancing a few rolling clouds. "Munashii likes to be straight to the point, so surikesu suites them as a call." Of course, the meaning of both munashii and surikesu should be perfectly understood. It is as if Hikari's zanpakutou is calling to completely erase those too weak to stand against her.

Kaosu stood up, and leaned next to the man. "Sixteen total, I believe. It's kinda vague, but I suppose it's because I haven't been dead long. I keep forgetting more and more as time goes on. Every time I go to sleep, I forget days at a time, until finally months are disappearing."

He sighed. "It's times like these I both miss and am glad I'm not a part of Rukongai anymore. Being forced to survive in trash, being paid for grocery delivery...it was painful. Yet at the same time it was simple. Nothing to do but survive. Now...it's so much more complicated."

He paused, rubbing the hilt of his sword. "Makes you wonder if it's worth it, you know? Every once in a while, just thinking about whether you want to continue."

He barked out a laugh, shifting his feet. "But then again, where else is there to go after you die here?"

((SORRY GUYS!!!!!!! I was on vacation in greenland. Not as green as the name implies. My laptop died on the way their so I was without computer...Now me back though.))

Karite laid down on a bed in a white gi. He black one was cut to shreds in the battle a while back. He laid with his Zanpaktou laying across his heart and his hands laid gently across its sheath. He just stared up at the ceiling wondering what could of happen to cause so much destruction to everyone.

A feel a cold, stern expression wash over my face. I don't miss living in that filth at all. You become slaves to fate, and that is something I just couldn't live with any longer. As I open my mouth to speak, I can taste the stiff, dryness between tongue and roof. With a sigh, I purse my lips and swallow. What am I so anxious for? Did I hate living there that much? I may not dislike boss and his family, but I could say the nightmares gave the world I was in a rude awakening. "It's all complicated. If you stay in the Rukongai too long, you'll see how much it takes just to worm your way into a decent living." With an almost annoyed expression, I thumb my brow. "If you die here...perhaps there is finally a chance at new life...or just nothingness."

Kaosu sighed, then shook his head. "Ah, it's not something I think about. I really don't care. All I know is I'm here. I'm supposed to do something with what I have now. That's what I'm going to do now, whatever I can."

He unsheathed his sword. "Zanpakutou really let you know what you're supposed to do with what you have." He played with it a bit, swinging it this way and that, hopping it to his left hand. "It's rather humerous, that kind of stuff. I mean, it seems oddly fantastical doesn't it? Killing people, hollows, with a sword that has a soul?"

Karite still on the bed with his eyes close commented on Kaosu's comment. "You know there Kaosu thats kinda of sadistic there. Killing things just because one can doesn't mean one should. Have you ever stopped and wondered why you are fighting those people or those hallows?"

Kaosu laughed. "And here I thought you went and put yourself in a coma, Karite." He laughed, running a finger along the steel. "No, I don't kill without reason. I kill to protect. Normally I don't even kill." He sighed, sheathing it again.

"I'd really like to know his name, but it hasn't told me yet, damned tiger."

Even within the shade of the tree, I have to use my hand to block glare and see who Koasu addressed as Karite. Inwardly, I chuckle at the irony. Kaosu has already admitted to being younger than I, and this Karite, as his name was spoken, would appear the same. As young as they appear, they are both his seniors. As I rub my chin, I can only imagine I have a careful, thoughtful expression. I'm not at all concerned about falling behind those younger. In fact, I think it's the way it should be. I nod towards them as I add my own opinion. "I'm sure you'll hear his name in no time. As for mine, I've got to convince him to, first, show himself." Reaching over my shoulder, I quickly clasp the grip. It's a fine leather, and it doesn't feel right against my rough hand. With an annoyed sigh, I quietly whisper my thoughts. "Why'd he have to choose such an extravagant form...?"

"Something about these blades seems off. They don't seem to choose who they are partnered with the heart seems to grab hold of them. Out of fear or curiosity I do not yet know but they seem to cling for dear life as it is a part of it. Kaosu your the smart one around here. What do you think about it?" Karite said raising himself up grabbing the red sheath of the blade and slinging it back across his broad shoulders.

Kaosu let loose a laugh, feeling the warmth rising in his cheeks. "Smart one? Not really, mate." He sighed, rubbing at his cheeks. "I suppose I do know a few things more than most, but I'm far from smart. Observant, maybe."

He sighed, looking at his hilt. "And from what I've observed, they're your heart and soul materialized. They don't seem random at all, to me. They seem to work with you, or at least who you are. So, I guess I don't agree with you, Karite."

Karite stood ripping the black blade from its sheath quickly, listening closely to the ringing of the blade as he slowly drew it vertically between his eyes. "I guess my heart is still a mystery to me. Maybe living in such a place as this is not all about strength."

As I look between these two, I'm curious at their words. If this extravagant sword is supposed to be a representation of my heart, I have no idea what it's supposed to be representing. As I heave a sigh, I bring both hands to rest on their respective thigh and close my eyes. Perhaps I look to be in thoughtful meditation. It didn't really matter to me. Thinking of that spirit, whoever or whatever it was, is just giving my a headache. I knew Kaosu was right about the Rukongai being simple, but it was a place I'd never revisit. Perhaps it's old habit, but, with these two talking, I've fallen back into quiet observation.

Haro heaved a sigh as he sat there, looking around him at the other people who were here. It was interesting...how they were. they had barely done anything in ages, let alone train. He definitely needed a good training session. And damn it, he had to unlock his shikai. As he was talking to Hikari about it, he only realized more how badly he needed this. How badly he needed to attain shikai. He noticed that she looked a little confused as he stood there, telling her that if she wasn't so much stronger he'd fight her. But he shook his head as he looked at her. "I was just fooling around, it wasn't a serious statement. Hell, I doubt my zanpakutou will ever be strong enough to beat yours." He said with a laugh. "Yea, yea. I know that. It's the basics that they teach you in the academy Hikari. I mean. I know that without bankai your weapon can't truly be complete. But...I don't know...I just wish that I was strong enough to get shikai right now even." He said with a smirk. "But I know that one day I will be, and one day I will be one of the strongest shinigami around, I just have to train for it, and make sure that I don't give up or give in." He said with a little bow. "You speak so much of your swords name...how I wish that I even knew mine." He stated. "What does yours mean? Munashii and Surikesu?" He asked, quite interested in what the names of her sword meant.
