He could leave as she had asked, or he could do as he liked and stayed all he wanted. Besides, he was her master, and not the other way around, he shouldnt be taking orders from her.

However, he was not some cruel sadistic tyrant bent on controlling others and making them feel small, so he would do as asked so kindly.

But, he was not so forgiving and nice to give Alexiel free reign to do as she pleased. As he walked away towards the door, he didnt even look back as he made a simple statement, "I will return in one month's time. And I do expect a sample."

So it would seem that he had let her off this time, but in one month's time, if she chose to avoid her... 'duty', there will be repercussions, and he would not be so forgiving a second time.

The door closed behind his back.

"Hmm?" Alex looked up at Sejai, almost confused at the girl's presence. "Oh, yeah, I'm just fine." Her gaze turned to the counter in front of her for a moment before turning back to the girl. "I'm going to have to leave on a business trip soon."

He blinked, staring at the exterior of the building as he stood in the middle of the street, dumbfounded. He wondered to himself if this really was a shop; it looked so... run down.

He looked down at the paper in his hands, and written upon it was an address; this address to be exact. He even made sure as he looked from one side to the other, taking note of the street name and the exact location of the building. Well, there was one way to find out if his information was correct.

Tade stepped up to the building's large oak door and placed his hands against it. If it really was a shop, it should open for the public right? And with a turn of the handle and a push, the door would give way, opening for the boy as he would step in.

Alexiel Alastaire pushed the door to the store open with her back as she stepped out onto the street, carrying a medium sized rug. She shook the rug roughly and a cloud of dust billowed out. She coughed and nearly choked on the dust cloud before gravity sent it downwards to settle on the ground. She finished dusting off the rug and paused to look up and down the street.

He would see no sign or any indicatiion what so ever as to what the shop was, at least not on the outside. Alexiel liked being mysterious, she had at one time thought that it would help to bring in more business, make people curious. It hadn't.

As she noticed the traveler raise his hand in greeting, she returned the favor. He seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't quite place where she knew him from. If she even did know him.

She smiled brightly as she lowered her hand, pushing a few loose strands of hair back from her face to tuck them behind her ear in the process. "Greetings," she called as she stood, leaning against the door. The rug dangling awkwardly from her hand, she draped it over her free arm before hugging it to her chest.

Alex grinned. "This? This is the greatest Pet Shop in all of Latent." She moved back into the door, making room for him to enter, and as she did so the door stayed open. "I have creatures here that you won't find in any other shop."

"Aye," she responded as she handed over the rug. Upon entering, he could see for himself the number and types of creatures she had, well, most of them anyway. She started to move back towards the counter, which is the rug had come from. Along the way she would pause to reach into a random cage to stroke the creature within. "Do you have any pets... Rubieus?" She had finally remembered who he was. It had been awhile since she had last seen the body guard.

A brow rose as Alex looked at him critically. "Literally or figuratively?" It had been awhile since she had laid eyes on any creature from a hell dimension. There wasn't much demand for normal creatures these days, much less exotic ones.
