Lacuna looked stunned. "Doing what?!! I didn't even do anything! Spend the night at someone's house?! Are you mad?", she rolled her eyes and stormed out of the house.
"God... I need a drink.", she said walking to the Fallenstar still completely angry.

Suru frowned, deeply, and stepped in front of Po, puting a hand on his shoulder.
"If you're implying what I think you are, ou can go upstairs and look yourself. Nothing happened last night. If you want to blame someone for this, blame me. I'm the one who started talking to Lacuna first. Not the other way around."
He saw her run off and gave Po a hard, but not angry look, following after her.
Cantique pulled Po back a little bit from her brother.
"Don't go off angry by yourself, love, please, at least let me come with you."

Pulling her into his arms, Po kissed her again, more firmly this time. "I dont think so angel. I need to look for Jak....if he knows about this, he's gonna..."

She hung onto him, still, feeling desperate, now.
"Po, I know him, he's my brother. He was still dressed. They didn't do anything, or she wouldn't still be here. He'd have kicked her out a long time ago."

"Sweetie you may know your brother, but I know mine. If he knows anything about this, he needs me right now. I know he was falling for her and he'll go and do something stupid."

Hearing the tremor in her voice, Po turned back to her, taking her in his arms. "Please dont cry angel. Jak may be a flirt, but at a guess I'd say she did something to tick him off first, otherwise he wouldnt have."

She looked up at him, pleadingly, chewing her lip.

"Jak wont be taking any of it out on Suru. If he was flirting cuz he was ticked off with her, and she's with Suru cuz she's mad at him for flirting...Jak will be telling himself he doesnt care...and go back to flirting...thereby making a bigger mess of everything..."
Pulling her over to the couch, he sat down, pulling her onto his lap.

She sat down with him gently, laying on his chest and muttering
"Which, in a way, will thrill Suru, because that will mean HE gets to play around with Jak. I swear to the gods, he's the most polyamorous person I've ever met! He can keep relationships with five people, never be really in love with a single one adnd still manages to make it work."
She paused, then backed up to explain.
"It's nto that he doesn't care about them, it's just, the only things really important to him are us and his work. Phelia and I, I mean, so no girl, really, or boy, has ever been able to get his attention well enough to make him love them."
