No, I've never wished to play another instrument because I think my oboe is the only instrument I would ever play. Yeah, I've gotten annoyed when I couldn't play a part and the clarinets had it easier, but nope, never wanted to change! heart

I absolutely love playing the alto sax, and I wouldn't want to switch, but I have had some fun playing the tenor sax (though it's pretty much the same instrument) and I had tons of fun learning the trumpet as a minor in my grade 10 music class. I wouldn't mind getting better at the trumpet, although I forgot to sign it out over the summer! >.<
Although I would like to learn the oboe x.x

I considered switching to tuba, but my band needed trombones more, so I stayed with that.

I love my trumpet and will never switch, but I would like to learn to play any sax except the alto(our altos have a strange rep)

My friends are always joking about how I am more of a French Horn than a trumpet because most of my friends are in the horns. Sometimes I have doubts about why I chose the trumpet, but then I think about it and get back on track. Thus, only now and then do I even think about switching. Now learning another instrument just so I can play in more ensembles with my friends, that I would do.

Sometimes I wish I'd played something different - because while I like the french horn and all, I'm not in love with it. Yet. Or I don't know if I am, because I haven't really tried many other instruments. I feel like I only like it because I'm good at it.
I've always wanted to try alto/tenor sax though.

I play clarinet. I love my instrument but my section is way too girly. :[ I wish I had joined the Percussion or French Horn sections.

I'm a percussionist and love it, but if I had to choose another it would definitely be the trumpet.
