Marjorie looked around confused."So your just going to leave me now Miss.Rani?"She whispered sadly.She had only been food she was too hopeful about people.She slowly started to fall asleep on the ground.

Miah drank quickly setting the glass on an empty table on her way out the door. I really should have dressed warmer she thought as an autumn chill tickled at her skin and she tucked her hands in the pockets of her jeans. She took off down the street slipping through the alleys that would lead her to the shortcut through the park. Something about that park made her really nervous lately, but it was the fastest way back to her apartment and she didn't want to catch cold in the breeze.

Marjorie woke up about 20 minutes later sitting up slowly and taking in her surroundings and a minor headache.She looked around."Rani??"

At the sound of her voice Rani appeared in the doorway of the kitchen holding a plate that had two sandwhiches on it and a bowl of macaroni and cheese that had a spoon sticking out of it. "Ah you're awake." she said smiling as she walked over to set the food on the coffee table in front of Marjorie. "I know you're hungry so eat up." she said as she stood up straight.

Marjorie looked to the door way as she appeared she jumped a bit."Oh uhmmmm thank you.Are you feeling better Rani?"She asked concerned.

"I-..." she said taken aback by the question. Rani blinked and stared at the girl, no one had ever asked her how she felt after she had fed. Then she smiled at her and nodded. "Yes I feel much better now thank you. Now eat before you pass out." she said pointing to the food as she sat down in one of the arm chairs.

It was just light enough to see her own outline in the alley way as Miah walked till she tripped over something/someone hitting the damp pavement hard. She lay there for a moment feeling the sting of a bleeding wound on her elbow before coming to her senses and rolling over to sit up and see what tripped her.
" oh my god.... I... is she dead?....,"
Miah's breath choked a bit in her throat frightened by this whole scene, and she tapped her toe against the foot of the other girl laying there in the alleyway.

Sei gave her a weird look. He contentiued to stare at her neck. He didn't dare speak a word.

Marjorie nodded taking the food gratefully eating it all."Thank you.It's very nice of you to do this for me."Marjorie half muttered setting the dishes down on the table."I can wash them if you want me to?"

Rani shook her head and picked up the dishes. "That's ok I got it." she took the dishes to the kitchen then came back to sit next to her. "So... how are you feeling?"
