After a couple minute's aimless wandering, Mori decided it was time he'd sleep. His walk around the school was unproductive; he felt no more refreshed or relaxed than when he'd got here and unpacked. He tapped his arm- it made a hollow sound. It was prosthetic, made of South American ironwood. It was nicknamed axe-breaker for its sheer toughness. Mori didn't tell anyone, but he'd been born without a right arm. It was a clean nub, a genetic defect. So at an early age, He'd been fitted with a plastic prosthetic one. But, as he grew up, he decided to fit it with secret compartments to keep random stuff.

So, one year he saved up his money, and bought some ironwood, which was about as good as garden variety iron(as the name implies.) He then fitted that with secret compartments and whatnot. He mostly kept snacks and foodstuffs in his arm, but it did have a few practical uses. His right hand popped off, and he pulled out a map. Checking his surroundings, he found out where he was, and decided to get back to his dorm. His stomach grumbled. Mori hadn't had quality food for a while, and was in the mood for something organic. Fruit, probably. So, before bed, he hopped off to the mess hall, still clenching the map in his hand.

acarian started walking out the door, when he felt his stomach growling. "hey jake, instead of the rec room, im gonna head down to the cafeteria. i'm STARVING!!" acarian said with a groan. walking out the door, he saw another boy walking to the door. "looks like we have more company," acarian said to himeslf. he faced the newcomer and said, "you must be our final roommate, go find a spot. im off to the cafeteria," acarian said with a huff.

((It's getting a little late and I just signed on, but I believe that he is speaking to our final roommate, Mitch_H - Turin. As I already said, it's a bit late and I'll try and post something tomorrow.))

Asako laughed at Anne's and Allison's comments about boys. "Well," she said, her grin widening into a huge smile, "we'll just have to see about that~!" she said, tail twitching with excitement.

Asako ran back over to the table, and brought over a nice, big sandwich for Allison. "Here, here!" she said, handing it to the girl. "I guarantee yumminess~!" she sang.

Then, while Anne walked back over to the table, Asako caught sight of a black cat leaving what must have been Anne's room. She let out a squeal of delight, and went to pet the cat. "I love cats~!" she cried in joy. "Love, love, love them~!" she sang again.

Once she had finished petting Cassio, she sat back down on the top of the chair, reaching for yet another sandwich. "No, I have a cat too. Her names Nukunuku." Allison said, and Asako groaned with jealousy.

"Ne~" she whined playfully, pouting. "You're both so lucky, having nice kitties to play with!" Then she giggled. "But that's okay. I won't steal them from you."

Asako watched as Allison took a bite of the sandwich, her smile growing again. "Wow! Better than anything I can make." Allison giggled.

"Aren't they really good?" Asako said, looking at Anne and saying with mock seriousness, "You, my dear, are one hell of a sandwich maker. Then she laughed and bit into her own. "Yu~mm~y!" she said, exaggerating every syllable.

Asako listened as the conversation switched to their origins, chewing her sandwich with relish--it seemed to be about the only thing that could shut her up. "What about you two?" Anne asked, just as Asako took her last bite.

"I'm a born-and-raise denizen of Faerie." she stated, unable to hide the pride in her voice. "I didn't really have much to speak of in the way of family, so I've been taking care of myself for most of my life. It's probably a good thing, too," she added. "In Faerie, you have to be able to be self-reliant and keep your wits about you, even if it's your place of origin."

Rhm would have rather have sat somewhere a bit brighter, but he went with his new friend, still smiling, and sat. Pan yawned on his shoulder and, in the contagious way that yawns are, made Rhm yawn. It was just then he realized how tired he was. He tried to think back to the last time he had slept in a real bed and couldn't recall.

But, he was also very hungry. "Save me seat, 'k, Pan? I'll go get your dinner." Pan looked at him irritably, but didn't argue and jumped down from his shoulder and onto the table. "Get me something crunchy. I'm in the mood for that," she called to him. Rhm nodded and called to Tristelle. "Come on! We want to get in line before everything's gone!"

Turin jumped as Acarian talked to him.

"Wha? Oh, okay..."

He stared after Acarian as he walked down the hallway to the stair-well. After he had left, Turin walked into the room, and saw Jake standing there.

"H-hello. I'm Turin."

acarian walked down to the cafeteria, hoping to see the brown haired girl he saw through the window. he entered the cafeteria, and, not seeing the brown haired girl, he got in line. "do you have any meat?" acarian asked the person behind the counter. she reached down and got the biggest steak he had ever seen, and slabbed it on his plate. thanking her, he went and sat down at a solitary table away from everyone.
