Skye flew above the two talking figures. He spotted a weeping willow not far from him. Slowly he decended, landing lightly beside it. He layed his back against the tree and gazed into the river that flowed but a few feet from him. He saw his reflection in the water and pondered whether he was looking at the reflection of the angel, or the sage. Sighing he took out his notepad again and started sketching the two figures talking nearby.

"Nothing has happened so far for me, you are the first person I have talked to since arriving." Ryoga said as he sat down beside her. "I can't believe you thought I was being serious, I just met you." He laughed as he placed his hands on the back of his head. "So, who's this new friend of yours?"

Stella blushed with embarrassment, realizing how stupid she must've made herself look. She laughed sheepishly, trying to shrug it off. Stella was extremely grateful when she changed the subject.
"Her name is Mitsie," she replied eagerly. "She's a few doors down from my dorm. She's a really great drawer, and she's got this adorable fox..." Stella trailed off, excited just talking about it.

"Slow down, slow down." He said with a laugh. "You are getting overly excited. So, where did she get a fox?" Ryoga asked as he looked around. "Was it somewhere around here?"He smiled as he leaned back cracking his back.

Skye finished his sketch and tilted his head back. He half heard what they were saying. Not really paying attention to their conversation, which from what he just heard was about some sort of fox, he began wistling a melody to himself. A bird joined in far off and Skye was lost in thought again, still clutching his sketchbook.

Stella's ears twitched. Someone was humming faintly behind them. She swivelled around, spotting a figure in a tree.
"Hey, you!" she said, hopping up. "Why are you spying? Don't you know it's rude?" She didn't sound angry, though. In fact, after finding out that the first person watching her had been so nice, she thought maybe this person too would be a friend.

Riku choked slitly on a noodle, he was eating, when she made that comment. Trying to be smooth he put his fork down and threw on a charming look, "Well only if you want to call it that." He said as a small smile went across his face.

Skye opened one of his eyes and looked at the girl. "Ah so wistling beneath this willow is spying? Very well then ill leave if you'd like" He answered her starting to get up and spread his wings. He was a bit annoyed that someone had interupted his melody, but showed no reaction.

Ryoga looked from Stella to the guy under the tree. "What does it matter if he was spying, its not like we were talking about some secret s**t or something." He looked back to the guy. "So how is it going?" He asked as he leaned forward and yawned.

"It doesn't matter, I guess..." she said quietly. "I actually didn't mind." Her ears went down, and she felt like shrinking. Had she made more people dislike her? Already? She must've gotten cocky after making one friend.

As if he didnt hear the boy he started wistling a spirit lifting tune. A bird landed on his right shoulder as he did so, leaning his head back he began to wonder again.

"What an a**." Ryoga said as he looked back at Stella. "So, what do you want to talk about. Now that we are sure that he isn't listening anymore?" Ryoga asked as he looked towards the boy who had ignored him. "He is really a p***k though."

Aya walked quietly out the doors, inching past each room. She didn't really want to talk to anyone like this; the first day of school always had her feeling lonely and sad. Summer was so fleeting and pretty, and school so...complicated, for lack of a better word. Her best friend from last year had transfered, so here Aya was. Friendless. She sighed to herself, knowing how over dramatic she was being. She kept walking, past the big school doors, out into the green grass. She breathed in, a big breath, looking around her to find a good spot to sit down and read.

Jole smiled. "Maybe I do." She looked at him innocently. "I mean only if you do..." She looked down at her lap in mock shyness.

"It's not far from here actually, just a little cafe, a place to unwind, eat and relax." Sorow was usually a ladies man, and swooned women in his day, but she seemed to be a challenge, he couldn't force himself to do it, no matter how hard he tried.
Once they reached the little corner cafe, he held the door open, letting her through looking down at the fox she hid. "Oh, don't worry about him, he should be ok, the owner doesn't mind." He helped her to his usual table and explained that he would pay the bill. She hadn't eaten, at least from what he saw, and it would be nice to treat his new friend to a meal.
