Lilliana still felt very weak. She needed some blood to recover her full strength. She dreamt of her past. In her dreams she was together with Allan again and remembered this very happy time of her life. When she awaked, she saw Shadows face, but still a bit cought by her dreams she thought it was Allan. Ahe smiled at him and tried to hug him. Only her weakness let this plan fail. So she laid back again and recogniced her error. She smiled again. "I'm sorry. I just had a very good dream."
Trying not to cry she added: "It's sad to be divorced from the one you love... but sometimes it's only good you have had such feelings before... do you understand what I mean?"

"The one I had loved was murdered a long time ago." Shadow said with a frown as he leaned forward and kissed Lilli's cheek. "But I am doing my best to make myself happy again. I am falling in lve with you and I am not sure why." He said as he noticed her weakness and slit his wrist and placed it in her mouth. "And I will protect you even if you never feel anything towards me."

With sad eyes she looked at him and thought about the danger to drink to much of his blood. She didn't know how long she had slept and she didn't know, how much she had drunken before. But she felt very weak and knew she needed some blood. She was confused. She didn't want to harm him in any way. She didn't want to do anything against him. Although she didn't knew him at all, she felt sympathie for him. Perhaps it's was this pain in their past, that connected them. She didn't knew...
Then she closed her eyes and bit him in his wrist to drink his blood. She hadn't to drink much to feel better again. So she soon leaned back again and smiled at him: "Thanks..."

HE smiled when she pulled back. "It is no problem at all. I already broke my bones for you, a little blood is not a problem whats so ever." He stood up and wrapped his wrist with a piece from his shirt. He then ripped off another piece and wiped the blood from off her lips.

"Thanks", she smiled again. "But we have to get out of here. I still have a mission to fullfill. You remember, what I said about Marlene. She perhaps soon will turn into a vampire. We have to help her, to controle herself."
She tried to stand up, but still felt to weak. Everything around her was circeling and he saw shadow twice. "Perhaps I should rest a bit. But I think it will work in an hour or so...Please help me."

"We can leave in an hour and I will carry you if you are not ready by then." Shadow said as he sat down next to her. "How did you get hurt? I thought that I had protected you, I must not have gotten there quick enough. I failed you, I'm sorry."

"You didn't do anything wrong. I remember a human. He must have had magical powers. You couldn't help me and he hurt you, too."
She laid down for a moment and thought again about her past. Then she found a solution. "I'll use this hour to tell you something about my past. You remember, I told you about Marlene, the girl we have to save. She is the grand grand daugther of Allan MCAllister. He's the one I loved many many years ago. He was the one that let me promise, not to drink from anyone with out the permission of my victim. He was human, although I loved him more than anybody else in my long life."
She made a small break to let the pain go again. She still missed Allan.
"You lost your love, too. I hope the pain isn't as great as mine... I still can't talk about this without crying." And in fact there were red tiers on her chest. "Let's get out of here. I think, I can walk by myself now." She stood up and leand against the wall for a moment to gain some more power. "Your blood is very strong and you gave me a lot this night. Thanks for this present. I try to give this favour back to you one day." She smiled again and started to walk to the exit...

"I only cry on one day a year and that is the day that I failed my family." He said as he stood up and followed her to the exit. "But I have also mourned for more than a hundred years and I am trying to make my life happy again." HE looked at the ground. "I need to make my life happier for my own good, and because of you it is working. For you are the first person I have talked to in over a hundred years."

She went out of the cave and looked at the moon. She thougt they had to go nothern to get to Marlene. She hoped, there wouldn't have passed to much time to help her. Although she wanted to hurry.
"I think, we should hurry up a bit. We lost some days because of my weakness. THe next town could be firena. There I want to get some gossip and new weapons. I think I nead some spells to protect myself from other magicians..."
So she went on walking.
Shadow was following her on the foot and Yoma did the same with a little distance. He didn't know how to feel with this small romance growing between them, but I thought it was better to follow them and help if needed.

Yoma didn't know what to think about this changed circumstances. Shadow and Lilly seemed to fall in love and he wasn't really happy about this. But he didn't want to let them go on alone and so he followed them, to offer his help, if it was needed again.

Ryoga ran up to Lilli's side. "So what are we going to do after we save Marlene?" He asked staying close beside her as he looked back at Yoma. "Hey Yoma, why are you so quiet all of the sudden?" He asked, stopping. "Is something wrong?"

"I don't know. I'm immortal and don't think much about my future. I only decide my next steps. Often I wander through the world and hunt evil vampires. But I feel I'm a bit tired from hunting." She smiled in a sad way and seemed to be in her own thougts...
She wondered wether this question did mean anything to him. Or if he just was curious.
[Yoma is a bit busy and o I will controle his charakter for a while. We can't just put him into a hole like mine =) ]
Yoma just shook his head. There was nothing wrong he was able to admit to. He didn't give any answer until shadow trned round again to Lilly. "I just didn't sleep a lot. I'm a bit tired..."
He knew it was a lie, but it didn't realy matter.

Ryoga smiled at Yoma. "Well maybe you should take a nap next time we stop." Ryoga looked back to Lilly. "That is too bad, going through life with out plans, it is almost as bad as walking around alone for the centuries." He said with a shudder.

"Perhaps you're right." Yoma felt silent again. He hadn't much to say and wanted to think a bit for himself. He asked himself, why he was still following them.

"You're right. And I walked round for a few hundred years, too." She looked back at her past and mentioned that it had been almost all wasted time. Perhaps he was right. Perhaps she had to find any aim, any point she wanted to reach. But she didn't know how to decide one.
"You were lonely for many many years, weren't you?" Like me, she added in her thoughts. "What do you want to do with your future?"
Soon they would reach the next city. Lilliana's senses told her, that they would only have to walk for an hour or so, before they passed the city gates. There they would have to find a tavern or something similar to rest and a shop were they could buy weapons. One of this gloomy stores, that was still open after dawn. Normally she didn't buy any weapons from someone she didn't know. But there were not many of her old friends left and so she had to find new trustable persons. Not many Humans were selling their stuff to vampires and in this dark times their were not many people, who were able to use a weapon and didn't know how to discover a vampire. THis wouldn't be an easy shopping tour. Perhaps she should tell her companios before they reached the city.
"We must be very carefully when we reach the next city. These are troubled times and humans only trust other humans. So it wouldn't be good if anybody discoverd our identities. And it won't be easy for me to find someone to buy some weapons from. Perhaps we should try to find a place to rest first."
[I want be on for a week. So it want go on before November the 26th. You can go on with the story a bit, if you like. Write a bit more...]

Ryoga looked at Lilly running what she had just said through his mind. "The solution is quite simple. You won't be the one buying the weapons, that will be Yoma's and my job." He said as he continued to walk. "Besides if anybody figures out what we really are than they will have to catch us before they could actually do anything to us. Oh and to your first question I was lonely for many years and as for my future I think I will go back to my original plan of making a family." Ryoga finished and gave her a small smile. "The whole wife and kids thing."
