I understand that some on here prefer to not have mixed children...
But that's a little bit hard for me seeing as how I am already mixed...o.o;;
So I think that having mixed children would be a wonderful and beautiful thing because well...
Kids are effin' awesome. No matter what race. Or um...races... biggrin

i know a lot of interracial couples who do not seem to be any different than any regular couples. i myself has a white boyfriend and so does one of my floor-mate as well as my don (who is gay), just to name a few. it can be pretty fun sometimes because you have two amazing cultures to live and experience instead of one, and cultural clash is not a serious problem due to globalization. best wishes to couples everywhere! ;D

[K]urom3 I don't think that I can say that I am a Chinese person. In the respect that I am not 100 percent Chinese. So yes, you'd be correct. But I am mixed. And I don't think it should matter if you want to marry someone outside of your race. I mean, I don't think it sounds weird at all if you were to marry someone who's White and then have half White/Chinese kids. As long as you're happy, why would it bother you? Now, on the other hand, I do realize that there are some cultural differences that might arise...but in the end, it would totally be up to you and your partner to move past them. But as for me, I would try to learn about the person as much as possible [that would include their culture]. Not just viewing the relationship as a "fling", but if things were serious between us, then of course you'd have to work out some kinks. If I was you I would marry anybody regardless of their ethnicity!! 3nodding It's not wrong to have children mixed breed. For example there was an asian man and a hispanic woman walking past by me and I saw their child.Their child was half hispanic and half asian(i dont know what is that man's nationality)

I'm Malaysian and I've been with a guy who's Chinese & Viet I've also been with a guy who's Malaysian too and told me he loved me more when he found out we were the same. So i prefer to avoid relationships because of weird crap.
The only time colour should be separated is when you're doing the laundry.

I'm only half chinese, as my dad is white (german and irish) and my mom is chinese.
right now I'm dating a white guy, and I've never dated an asian guy.. haha I have dated a mexican and a black guy. But i'm in the US so it's probably different if you're not.. I'm not really sure.
I don't find anything wrong with it, and I actually thinks its for the best because then your children get to grow up with two different cultures.
Like I love chinese food (ma makes the best) but i also like german and irish food and st patricks day and everything.
Plus my mom wouldn't of encouraged me to do things my dad did.

Personally I wouldn't mind want race I'd date, but in marriage I'd prefer an Asian.
Besides my mom would kill me if she had a Caucasian son-in law.

Hmm... recently I've been wondering, does anyone have difficulty imagining themselves with someone of the same race?

mymiridon Hmm... recently I've been wondering, does anyone have difficulty imagining themselves with someone of the same race? Sometimes.. I see a lot of my Chinese and Vietnamese guy friends as just brothers. Its hard for me to view them beyond the non-blood related sibling relationship.

I'm with a Chinese guy, but it's weird, 'cause like.. he's as British as I am, lol. So I guess we're the same, really. But it just happened like that.. not intentional at all. xP
