good thing I'm not squeemish in terms of what I read, rl though I'd never be able to do what my character did in their last post.

i wouldn't either.. I'm deathly afraid of needles.. though in that situation, the needle would be the least of my problems...
I believe i've discovered the reason for the story's slowness is my tight grip on where it goes, and i have good news for those of you who don't like that. Once chapter one is over, I'm gonna give you a lot more freedom in what can be done, meaning letting players control more things, such as entire starships or even fleets. though i still reserve the right to full authority over the Hymn, as she's my favorite. xd

 it's the ship there. i only have the top view so far, i have a couple of modified 3-d versions, but i dont have them anywhere on the net so i can't post them here.

huh, I always envisioned it as more like the pillar of autumn from halo. more square and bulky.

the Mars clas ships are rather boxy though not bulky, if you like that kind of ship... I'll get to drawing one on MS paint sometime when i have more free time.

I was thinking of the Hymn's Engineering section looking like the Engineering Section from Star Trek Voyager, though can't find any decent images of it.

Thanks for the names, calcifer. All right, I posted, I'm not sure how soon I should start chapter two, and thus your greater amount of creative freedom. If you feel like going off another direction, or being on a different ship, PM me, If you feel like making your own ship, that's fine too, PM me a description of what it does and a picture, and i'll see what i can do.

I figure I will stay with DHK, that way I will have someone to interact with in dogfights, and a potential for character development that I wouldn't have otherwise.
