"Alright, thanks!" receiving the cups from her, she set them down at the eating table that was already set. Fujikos always kept the table set once they were done with their meals, so it looked as if the last to cook had kept up the house rules. Before going off to get the plaintains though, Tatianna also filled a smaller pot with water and set it on the stove. She turned on the burner for that pot as the whistle for the tea began to squill. Turning down the burner beneath it, she reached for a high cabinet pulling out a small bucket of what smelled like a mixture of herbs. She put these into yet anotehr small pot and poured the boiling teapot water into it, mixing it with a large spoon.
By now the water in the first pot was boiling. "Ok, I'll be back, just keep sturring the tea mix ok?" she told Elruda as she hustled off with a big cup towards the storage room.

Elruda nodded as Tatianna hurried off from the kitchen. Well, the Hyuuga girl had no idea where the other kunoichi was heading, but probably for some other cooking ingredient. Elruda kept stirring the tea mixture in the second pot. She had to admit that she never saw the opening steps of preparing tea before. Her cooking had been so disastrous that back at the Hyuuga compound, she was banned from ever setting foot into the kitchens. It most certainly put an end to her cooking lessons when she burned the elders' dinner, filling half of the compound with the smell of burning charcoal.
A soft chuckle escaped Elruda's lips as she continued stirring the tea mix. Well, at the very least, circumstance had provided another chance for her to learn domestic skills.

A few mintues later, Tatianna returned with a big cup of rice in one hand and four plaintains in the other. She set the plaintains on the table and washed the large cup of rice before dumping it into the boiling water and covering it with a top. "Nice work Elruda! We'll have dinner ready in no time! Did you use to cook back home any?"

Elruda thought her heart must've froze for a whole second when Tatianna asked her if she used to cook back at the Hyuuga compound. It was true that back then she had set herself on wrecking havoc at the elders' expense...but...she never really was good at cooking. In fact, many times she would end up cutting her fingers instead of the fish. Absolutely embarassing.
A nervous cough was the first thing Elruda did to break the awkward silence. "Ehrm...well...the Hyuuga girls all had lessons..." She mumbled nervously. Well, at the very least, it was mostly true.

Sakeme had followed Tati and the other 'kid' as they headed over to the main house. With it not looking like a temple, it made Sakeme feel a bit more comfortable... but not much. She watched the two as they worked on the meal. Sakeme made sure that she found a good spot to sit as she leaned against the wall. She also practiced her habit of glaring down anyone who dared to even glance at her.

((Sorry for the wait girls. Grandma doesn't have very reliable internet at her house, heh. I'm not going to be getting any exp. for this so I'll just hurry it up.))
After an hour more of thawing and chopping and boiling, dinner was complete. The whole kitchen smelled of the sweet scent of plaintain and the delicious aroma of spiced fried fish. Unaware of Elruda's horrible past with cooking, Tatianna had involved her in small jobs throughout the cooking process, all of which even a toddler could have done. Even if it was something as simple as turning down the heat under a pot, Tatianna was vastly grateful, pulling Elruda into tight hugs and thanking her profusely.
Pulling down four plates, she set them all at the table as well. "Welp, there you go guys! All you have to do, is take what you want and put it on your plate. There should be enough for everyone...I'm actually not that hungry yet, so I'm gonna work on my Kapchico a little more. Save some for me!"
And with that said, Tati made sure that averything hot was turned off and her hands were washed before heading back off to the lake.

Tatianna hadn't wandered too far towards the lake. It was dark out now and it would be just plain annoying to practice with the crocs lurking all over the lake edge. Besides, she had much more space where she was, just a few minutes walk from the Main House entrance. The soft sound of crickets and other swamp dwelling creatures mixed together to produce a night symphony all in it's own. Most people might have found such noises annoying and bothersome, but when you grew up in a swamp, it only sounded like home. Like the spirirts were just as healthy as ever.
Closing her eyes, she slowly began the steps to the dance. The basic were now very ingraned in her memory, so she focued on just letting her body take her through the motions. It seemed that break had done her some good.

A grin broke out from her as felt herself moving along in a neat circle. SHe actually found the dancing part of it quite fun and relaxing at she began to really get the hang of it. Since no one was watching did a few twirls and jumps in between, imitating what she had seen some of the more experianced dancers do around camp fires. Tati was quite sure she hardly possessed their grace, but it would come with time. And as she danced, she began to hum one of the hyms that were played by drum and flute to honor the spirits on certain special occasions.

Elruda nodded, mentally thanking the gods that Tatianna did not have to discover her cooking shortcomings this early into their meeting. Well, it was true that eventually the bright-eyed Fujiko would find out... But the young Hyuuga would rather much prefer later than now. Maybe it had something to do with her Hyuuga ego because Elruda always had to make the most proper first impression. Well, it was true that the first impression with Wrath was ruined but that wasn't her fault that the swamps around Ame were booby-trapped. Right...?
Shaking her head furiously, Elruda instead occupied her mind by helping herself to the delicious spiced, fried fish. A happy aura could literally be felt radiating off the content girl. While most of the time she would be happy to eat anything that's edible, she did prefer spiced foods more. She didn't mean to ignore Sakeme but Elruda was too preoccupied with finishing her share. Besides, the other kunoichi had a very mean look on her face and Elruda didn't think she mustered up enough courage to talk to her yet. When she was done, she took her plate to the sink and began to wash it. After she dried the plate, Elruda decided to head out to do some training as well.

Sakeme sat at the table where the food was placed and started filling her plate. She didn't take too much though. Yes, you all may be surprised, but she has table manners atleast. She picked at the rice and fish... eating small pieces at a time. Tati wasn't too bad of a cook... of course, that opinion could just be influenced by a couple years of Kimihiro's cooking... or her own.

((Nothing better to do. =3 And no one's in Iwa's Academy right now to talk to my other character. crying ))
Instead of moving recklessly like she had done before, Elruda was more careful in her Juuken moves. She had no intentions of reopening her wounds. Thus, unlike during the taijutsu training Wrath had given her two days ago, this time, Elruda did not jump around.
She had returned to the boulder she found earlier and contented herself trying to make a dent in the rock with her chakra-laced palm. Her chakra was still underdeveloped, so it wasn't as effective as on the wooden dummy. Elruda sighed as she made another shallow strike at the rock. It seems that it would be a very long while before her Juuken's effective enough to target tenketsu points.
Though, it was quite fun imagining what it would be like...

((Oh, hey there folks!))
SHe had to stop her fun though. As much as she enjoyed this new aspect of their clan that Wrath had taught her, she had to remember that she was suppose to be learning a move that could quite possibly save her life, or atleast save her a few nasty injuries. "Ok, now. I guess I need a target to focus on..." Scratching her chin, she glanced around the area, noticing Elruda as she went off to her own desired spot for training. Tatianna smiled as an idea came to her then.
Heading off a bit further from the main house, there was a barren feild of mostly wheat colored grass that was low this time of year and a few sparse trees. Picking one, Tatinna resumed the dance, circuling the tree now as her main target. Her movement felt more focused and directed now that she had a physical target to keep her waist balanced toward.

"Juuken Kempo - OUCH!" Elruda grimaced as her palm struck the boulder a little too harshly. That wasn't the way to go. She thought to herself. Now she was beginning to wish she had Wrath's insane strength. Then, she wouldn't have to worry about denting a boulder. Now that she think about it... Did Tatianna have the same strength as well? Elruda attempted to decide whether to continue practicing or watch Tatianna practice. Curiosity really kills her concentration.

Keeping her back towards the tree, Tatianna closed her eyes again, trying to envision the way Wrath had grabbed her and used his weight to counter her own weight against her. "Ok let's see..." Moving along with the dance, she crouched placing a hand on the tree and kicking her leg back , meaning to place it firmly against the trunk. What she actually ended up doing was bagging her shin against it and she fell to the wet earth yelping. "YOW! Sssss...." Tati rubbed the front of her lower leg franticly as the sharp pain dulled into a dull thumping ache.
