So here's the thing. No one pays attention to me or notices me. Except for a few people. Shall I list them?
1. Ceribri
2. Roobarb
3. Freaj
4. Triska
No offense to everyone else, but they really haven't acknowledged me.
Just saying thanks for trying to get to know me.

You're not alone that way, you know--it's not like all the rest of us are buddies with every other member in the guild. There are lots of little friend-groups and conversation-groups all over the place, if you look. I don't think you're being ignored. smile

Thats life, cliques, exclusion etcetera. This guild is lucky to have nice people who talk to people they know little about.

4. Triska I don't think it's so much that you're being ignored by the vast majority of folks, but more like 99% of the members of this guild don't post regularly here. Accordingly, three of the four people you listed are actually the ones with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th highest overall number of posts. P.S. You're always welcome to join R.O.O.B.A.R.B. pirate P.P.S. Whatever happened to that Family Feud game you thought about starting up?

well i dont feel i particulaly have any friend group i fit into here xd i just float about. theres no members im particulaly buddy-buddy with. but i get along with a fair few i think.

Wow, I am on a list of friendly people, that's a rarity for me!
I wouldn't let it get to you Sharpie, people go through waves of socialising on this guild and then waves of no-one answering any threads, tis not a matter of whether they like you or not it's just the way it seems to go. Lurking catches, like the flu.
If you really want responses start some controversial threads. I generally find annoying people is the best way to make friends round here! sweatdrop
P.S. But not by making rude threads or anything... just, you know, adding a bit of spark...
P.P.S. You were looking for someone who could work the new profiles right? Here would be a good place to ask! I know there must be SOMEONE here who can figure them out... confused

I'm still fairly new to this place. And I tend to chat quite a bit when it's a conversation I like.
It took quite a bit of time before people started posting in my Poll Thread. Sometimes you have to be patient. It took some time for me to get use to it in other places.

New Profile? That's all I use now! I love it!
It could use some more improvements, but still, you get to make stuff up yourself without having to know codes! xd

And don't let it get to you.. it's easier than being the new kid at school.
I know when I joined...wow, long time ago!...anyways, when I joined I basically revered certain people that *everyone* seemed to know and hang out with.. kinda like the popular kids.. *pokes Roobarb and Stresshog*..I started talking to them, and now we generally get along quite well. ninja
So I started talking with Freaj 'cause she's a Hitchhiker too, and then she became my first best friend in the guild..
it may seem like we've got a million and one people here, I know, but not everyone is always on here all the time, and ya kinda gotta go all over the guild to find everyone...some people are really active in some sub-forums than others.
I've got very little social life, so voila! I'm on a lot during the summer and at least three times a week on school nights.

David tennant's nostrils being huger are because of Roobarb not being able to resist. I would have done the same, had she not beat me to it.
And as to being ignored, you're not being ignored now, are you? blaugh A lot of us are really busy. This is my first time onto the internet for a week or so. I know it can get annoying when nobody replys..Just keep trying and people will visit when they can.
(And, I was waiting for someone to start that family feud thing..no idea how to play)

Heh there are so many new people these days I wouldn't even know half the people... ... figures really because its all online, but you know what I mean, all these new people popping up everywhere, gets a tad confusing.
Hehe, when I first joined the guild I thought I was going to get my throat slit for posting too much xd
*hugs* but not to worry, don't feel ignored, we're all like... er... what would you say? a happy bunch of whovians? all friends? cozy, loving little group of whovians?(despite some difference of opinion... *ahem*nostrils*ahem*)
But you know, it would be cool to get to know guild members better, because... well everyone's scattered around, England, Australia, America, Scotland... etc... so really outside posting in the guild you can't really talk and stuff. Maybe we could have a PM list or something, or email or ... I dunno, something where you whack your username or email down if you have the time and want to get to know people and such. I know someone had a thread asking for AIM somethings but ... seriously I don't have one or even know what it is confused

I suppose we could set up some kind of periodical newsletter or something for people to let others know what they've been up to or something like that. Well, for those who want the details of their private lives known anyway. You could also use it for updating people about new Doctor Who news they might have missed and stuff like that. Hell, if we wanted then we could go really crazy and do a podcast. Hang about a minute, I'm just going to shift this across to the ideas thread.
