I love to read Harry Potter, but I detest the movies. I stopped seeing them after the third.
I was wondering how everyone else felt about them.
So, which do you prefer?

I like them both but the movies leave some stuff out that was in the book, which i think is annoying because the movies should be alot like the books.

Although I have seen all the movies so far, I have to say that they leave out way too much! The books are soooo much better!

i like them both, but i like the books a lot better... i mean, the movies are ok, if you don't compare them to the books...

I've never loved a movie as much as I loved the book first, and that goes for Harry Potter as well.
However, I do love the movies. They just aren't as good as the books, since they always leave a lot of crucial things out!! Grr directors, there are ways around the time problem if you just figure out what's important and what you can leave out!

i like the books better.(obviously) they ruin the books with the movies. The only way to enjoy the movies is to not compare them to the books at all! I still like the movies though.

books are always better than movies because you can see the people for what your imagination sees it as. not someone else's imagination.
