Introduction ~
Alrighty then. This is the first original RP of mine, and I'm wanting to pull this off. I have a basic story in mind, but I really need to develope it, and I want you guys (and girls) to help. If all goes well (prolly not, but one can dream) this may even become a screenplay, so I really want literate people here. And it's gonna be long, so when you sign up, please show some commitment.

Story ~
"We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how about you?!"
It matters not that every time we scream this in the stands at the football games we are so much louder than any other band. The spirit shines through at the competitions. Every year, we are beaten out by the Tullahoma High School Band. What makes matters worse, we celebrate when we get a good score...they, on the other hand, don't...they just stand there at attention as if to say, "We are above you in every way." Well, I guess Mr. Isbell finally had enough of it.
One day, about a week after our first competition of the current year, he called all the first chair players to his office. After we got in, he told his assistant/wife to get "The Book." Mrs. Isbell comes back out of the storage closet with a dust covered book. Taking it, Mr. I blows the dust from the old thing, and opens it. Flipping through the pages, he stops. Showing us the book, we see an etching of an elegant and beautiful horn...
"Gabriel's Horn. He who possesses this instrument possesses the ultimate embodiment of Band Spirit."
As Mr. I read this to us, we all stared at the book. There was something about it...that horn...we observed just the picture in awe...Then he handed the book to me.
"I'm trusting you. You are my top players. And you, as the first trumpet, are the voice of my band. I want you to lead the rest of the firsts and find Gabriel's Horn."

It's a marching band. In sight of that, there's a few things one must know. We're all in high school (duh), we're all considered at least a bit geeky (hey, it's the truth), and we all seem to stick together (it's a band thing, you might not understand).
The students will end up with weapons (don't ask. I won't tell. ^.^), so you'll need to decide on one. All I ask is that there's nothing too unbelievable.
((Example: my sword is twenty-five feet long and weighs 4800 lbs.))

One other thing, try to keep the weapons somewhat similar to your instrument, as far as shape and carriage. There is a reason for this, and it will be explained later in the story.
Ok, last thing, this is a serious RP, and yet a completely funny RP. It's meant to be taken seriously, and at the same time, not. It's gonna be funny; it's gonna be farfetched. It'll even be downright silly at times. But all the same, I ask that you take it at least almost as seriously as any other RP.

6. Must post at leat once a week.
7. Godmod and I show you the rath of the Dungeon Master. stare
8. Romance is allowed to an extent (No Cybering, nasties. stare )
9. Please be semi literate (No one liners, please)
10. When speaking out of character use {} or (())
11. No page stretching
12. For the characters, you're allowed to play up to 2 people (please use diffrent colors so people can tell who is who!)
13. Please tell me when you'll be gone for awhile
14. Be nice to everyone (unless it is your character's personality)
15. PM all profiles to me (Put the title as "Su Madre" so I can see you read the rules)
16. No quotes please!!! (It makes things difficult and longer)
If you have any issues following the rules your username will be directly put on the blacklist and you will be suspended from the RP. A guild official will be contacted and I will turn you over to Chuck Norris for disciplinary measures. So make it easy on me (and you), FOLLOW the rules and all will be well. Thanks.

Anything Else ~
Ok, no one has any powers...yet. That will come much later, if this RP is still even going. And keep in mind, this is a marching band so no piano players or anything like that. We are only the first chair players, so only one of each instrument. I'll allow one snare, one bass, one symbol player, one flag, and one majorette. The rest are marching instruments; trumpet (taken), trombone, sousaphone (spell?), baritone, french horn, marching tuba, alto sax, tener sax, bari sax, clarinet, flute, and picolo. If you can think of any other instruments used in marching band, feel free to ask if you can use them. And no guitars...I hate it when marching bands use guitars.
We will not officially start the adventure until we have at least three of the basics,
Trumpet
Trombone
Sousaphone
Flute
Clarinet
Alto Sax
You may go for the other instruments, but just know that these are the first ones needed.
Also, I'm only accepting one for each instrument! This is first come first serve! I'll be deciding through those PMing me. You've been warned. Don't get pissed when someone else gets your instrument.
The actual RP will start after school, right after Mr. I gave us this mission. So pretty much the last bell just rang.
This RP involves action, fantasy, many musical references, and powers beyond your imagination! The idea really makes me think Monty Python meets Pirates of the Caribbean, so be sure to have fun with it!

If you would of put it on the main forum, like the sticky said, you probably would get more people interested. And if this was deemed Intermediate, it would be moved here. Read the stickies next time.
