I believed I could get better with you...  So a while I noticed the increasing number of users on Gaia that claim to be "Bisexual", but don't actually like the same gender. -.- It's annoying and I don't think people should feel the need to jump on the bandwagon of Bisexual-ism... It's okay to be Heterosexual with Homosexual tendencies, as well as Homosexual with Heterosexual tendencies. I understand that most feel like they want to experiment with the same sex, but it's called Bi-curious... You can't call yourself Bisexual until you have actually had some sort of bodily intercourse, kissing during a dare doesn't count! I mean come on! How many people say they kissed the same sex during a Truth, or Dare session? "Oh I kissed a boy during Truth, or Dare... I must be Bisexual... Teehee" Bull! It's becoming annoying, and I feel the need to debate on how far you actually have to go to be Bisexual.
I only state I'm bisexual because I am into guys, more then girls, but I don't mind performing any type of intercourse on a Female body, it's all soft skin!!

I believed I could get better with you... Add on: I believe that some type of bodily intercourse has to be involved, kissing doesn't count unless it's meaningful, for one to be labeled as Bisexual... Unless they both carry on a meaningful relationship for an extended period of time.

i agree with you that there is definatly an outbreak of people claiming to be bisexual or even full out lesbian or gay.
I, for one, am straight. But the same thing happened in middle school here where it became "the thing" to be bisexual.
I think that to actually call yourself bisexual you would of had to do some sexual stuff, maybe somewhat curiousity at first if that how it came, but it would have to be meaning full and not a dare like you stated.
it's not about what you've done, its about how you really feel doing it.
even if its just a innocent kiss, if it means something truely, then i believe it is real.
For all those fakers out there, i pity them.
For all the curious ones, sure, your bi-curious, but don't call yourself bisexual unless you are seriously passionate about the same sex.
that is all.

I disagree.
A Bisexual doesnt have to have intercourse with the same sex, but they can still unaturaly love the same sex.
It might take them a while to ease into it, but thats why their bisexuals, they feal comfortable with women, but still love men.
If they dont show it, its probably from some good reason, like time or insecurity.
I myself, am straight.

But i dont think that they can actually call themselves bisexual unless they atleast do something [such as kissing]. Because if they are too weak to actually come out and say it, they are too confused or scared to admit what they are. If you are bisexual, you should be able to know no doubt.

Im bisexual myself, although I prefer females over males, I have been like that since I started puberty XD but I do agree that some people are jumping teh bandwagon but you do not need to have intercourse, its who you are, not who you do ^_________^

i disagree
i think that you don't have to have any intercourse with someone of the same sex to state that you are either gay or bisexual
you just have a so called "unnatural urge" to be with a person of the same sex
or you just don't care what sex it is, it just matters what is inside [personality is what i'm getting at]
i am straight because i have no desire whatsoever to do anything of that sort with the same sex [girls]
I do not mind that people do this
it does not bother me when i see gays/lesbians kissing
i just say "go figure"
because you are what you are and you never can change it
unless you are brain-dead
that is the only exception though

I agree to s certain level. I agree with the whole "bandwagon" thing. We don't need that, too many posers make this site quite annoying.
The bisexual thing, I do not agree with. Intercourse is not needed to claim bisexuality. Same as it is not needed to claim homosexuality.
As long as genuine interest is there, they can claim such, they just wont know the truth untik the time comes where they have to act upon it.
So it doesn't really matter. If you know you aren't don't say it. Simple.

I am Married and I have an attraction to the same sex...I've never done anything with the same sex...and I DONT call my self bisexual because of that. I think you have to actually have some sort of sexual contact with the same gender to be bisexual. Thats just me of course smile
