The door within the castle that separated this world from Gaia opened on faithful day. Bringing with it, travellers from another world, travellers that had a task in mind. One that they had been planning for quite sometime, and now that Elnara and her children had gone off to the Borderlands, now seemed like a perfect time.
Through the door and into the hallway stepped a tall angelic being that seemed to have a frown on his face. His long silverly white hair which was pulled into a loose pony tail stopped far below his needs. Yue Winters had agreed to this trip, long before his twins were born. Fortunately he had Jaseth to watch them, and there was little fear that Miyu would go wandering into bags again.

Triton followed Yue, with his bag slung over his shoulder and his sword across his back. He had come prepared, wearing his normal jeans, tanktop and outer green shirt left undone. He felt like his nerves were on edge, though it had been Triton's idea. The Neko had not been on an adventure like this for quite a while, and certainly not an adventure where he expected to be fighting.

"Does anyone know what the damn time is here?"
The final person was perhaps the most suspious of all in his long black trench coat, polished leathered shoes, crisp black pants and white shirt and what looked to be fingerless leather gloves on his hands. Donovan, was pleased to be asked along, only because it was a long while since he had done anything like this. Besides the bastards had what was coming to them, he kind of looked forward to it. Only, he wasn't looking forward to the possible time difference.
He also liked the ability to swear freely.

The labyrinth was the same as always: carved marble walls lit by torches that never seemed to go out. Telling time was impossible down here, and spending time down here, even knowing when you came down, made one lose all perspective of time.
Moments after the three appeared in the labyrinth's hall, a disembodied giggle echoed through the walls, a light giggle, a childish giggle.

"I wonder...." Yue mused to himself listening to the giggle.
He wondered if it was that child again, perhaps it was, but he had to be all grown up now, or close to it. Yue sighed, well they wouldn't find anything out staying here, now if he remembered the directions correctly....
"This way," he motioned, "We aren't going to get anything done staying here."

"I suppose not, it's a real pity we couldn't warn anyone ahead of time," Triton murmured following his brother, "Since we're kind of barging in on them."
That was probably the only problem about coming through this particular portal. At least at the Borderlands you could, if you were prepared to sleep out in the open. Besides, you weren't appearing inside of someone's home.

Donovan raised a brow at Triton, the boy sure had manners, but he was Kara's son, of course he had manners. All of Kara's children did to a certain degree... even if it meant asking for permission to pounce on another.
"As long as no one tries to arrest us," he muttered.

As they started down the hall, the giggles faded into silence. A few moments later, a torch far down one of the halls dimmed, then grew brighter than all the rest, then returned to it's regular state.

Triton blinked seeing that, it was hard not to miss, "Was that suppose to happen?"
He looked at Yue, since Yue had been down here, this was Triton's first time actually. He had never been down in the maze ever, and the giggles were a bit disconcerning.

"No," Yue murmured as he continued down the path as he got nearer to the torch that had flared up.
He had never seen anything like that, but then again he wasn't that worried.
"But they do know magic, it could be a child doing it," it probably was, but he was guessing.

Donovan carefully listened to his surroundings he didn't like to be caught off guard. Let the boys wonder if that was normal or not, just assume the worse. He really hated to be caught off guard like that.

Through the doorway next to where Yue was standing, another torch flickered, then another further down that new hall.
From somewhere down that hall, another giggle echoed.

Yue wondered if he should worry at all, but since it wasn't off their intended path he continued down his way. Going where it was needed and just hoping it wasn't too late or anything like that.

The flickering torches continued to lead the way through the maze, accompanied by the odd giggle. After a long walk, the flickering torches ended in a room with three closed doors, all of them identical.

"So..." Donovan mused, "Which door?"
This place was probably confusing on purpose, actually didn't he hear somewhere that was the way it was created? He really would hate to see if someone did get lost down here. Body would probably be bones before anyone realized that someone tried to sneak in through this way.
