Shiori was walking by the plains when a sudden urge for food pulsated through her body. She decided to check by the river nearby to her, since she was almost certain it had a few trees in which she could maybe find some fruits and berries. Her curls swayed softly in the wind. Oh, how she loved having curly hair, and how she loved the wind. When it brushed her face as it was doing now, she felt free. And that's all that matters, right? To be free to do whatever you like whenever you want to. Like travel to other places, and be adventurous, and curious. She enjoyed meeting new people in other places which weren't familiar to her.
She finally arrived at the river, which was flourishing with fresh water and had many familiar scents to her of her favourite berries. This was truly her favourite place to be. She lay down onto the grass next to the river and lowered her head to take a sip of the fresh water. After a while, she noticed the image of another Soquili reflected in the water.

"Lo there!" He hadn't crept up on her so much as she probably hadn't noticed he was there when she had arrived. He hadn't originally been beside the river but had been in the forest close by. When she had arrived, he had simply decided that he would come out of the shade to make his presence felt. After all, everyone enjoyed his company when he was about!
Ha, or so he believed and told himself. No one had ever told him to go away and that suited him just fine.
That being said, he had waited patiently, his head lowered to the water until her gaze had at last flicked towards his reflection. Without looking up he had shifted his eyes (or at least those in his reflection) towards her and had allowed a smile to creep onto his lips.
"Nice day, wouldn't you say?"

"He.. hello." Shiori stuttered. "I didn't notice you there." she gave him a warm smile. In front of her stood a tall, brown, and handsome stallion, with sandy colored curly hair. He had a kind look in his deep chocolate eyes which made her feel happy inside.
"My name is Shiori!" she joyfully announced. "It's nice to meet you, mr..?" she asked sweetly.

He blinked. Twice.
He had never had a mare introduce herself so quickly and it rather took him by surprise. Apparently while he had been raising his daughters the world had gained some new and much more excitable soquili. He positively beamed at this revelation, though it was all in his head and found his mood improving rapidly - oho he knew it was going to be a good day!
"Pleasure te meet ye, I'm Biscuit." He said with no hesitation, offering a small smile as she seemed briefly surprised by his appearance. Granted, he had crept up and his hoof falls had been quiet but it didn't make it any less amusing - he was getting good at that!
"I be sorry fer scarin' ye - dinnae mean it, aye?"

Shiori was very shocked by Biscuit's strange accent. She had never heard anything like it. She stood still for a while, trying to figure out what he was saying. At last, after a long pause, the words sunk in and she actually understood what Biscuit had said. A small breeze danced with the curls in her hair.
"It's fine. I've had bigger frights in my life, no worries!" she informed Biscuit. This stallion seemed like a nice person. Strange, but nice in Shiori's opinion. She decided that she should get to know him better, besides, she wasn't doing anything particular at the moment, meaning she could spare at least a little time for him.
"Would you like to spend some time with me?" she instantly asked. She had been warned that her enthusiastic side could get irritating by Samus, so she hoped she wasn't being too pushy with Biscuit.

"Ye may be wantin' te be careful bout sayin' that," Biscuit smiled a little wrily at the mare, canting his head to the side before finally giving a nod. He didn't see a problem with socialising and if it was a mare then that just made things all the more fun. With a jostle of his curls, the stallion righted himself and cleared his throat.
...He'd only just realised her pause.
Was he that bad?
"Nae everyone will take it the right way," He explained, trying his best to tame his accent for the sake of being social. His friends and family could understand it but they were used to his presence. "But I ain't one te be denyin' ye the pleasure of me company and vice versa!"
So...
"Ye be wantin' me te try and ease up, sound easier on the ear...aye?"

Shiori was fascinated at Biscuit's accent. "Umm, yes, aye." Shiori said, trying to imitate Biscuit's accent, although she had no idea what aye meant.
Pleasure of his company? Shiori giggled. Well, there was something that was giving her pleasure, it was not only his company but his accent as well. She did her best not to burst out giggling, but couldn't contain herself. After her outburst of laughter, she felt very embarrased and hoped she hadn't offended Biscuit. He seemed very sophisticated and polite, when she had burst out laughing, being very rude.
"I'm sorry about that," she told him. "I'm just a little hyper deep inside, I hope you don't mind!" she smiled. Slowly she fell in step with the stallion.

"Aye means yes," Biscuit dominated his own lilt and in doing so, became much more understandable. While the faint accent could still be heard in his tone, it was startling as to just how easy he found it to switch between the two. Well, they always said that an individual was born with at least one talent and apparently this was his 'one talent', regardless of how useless others might deem it.
"No need to say it twice," A faint smile appeared on his lips, an indication that he was rather bemused by the excitable female. He rarely met a bubbly female and to meet one was indeed very refreshing (not to mention enjoyable).
"My daughter is worse than you," He confessed after a few moments, releasing a chuckle as he recalled floss and her often permanent state of hyper-ness. She never stood still for a second and never, ever shut up! At least Shiori was controlled enough to do that.
"There is no need to be ashamed when you are so happy."

Shiori was really beginning to like Biscuit. His accent may be a big dodgy, but it certainly gave him character. She listened intently to him speak, and realised a small change in his tone, as though he were trying to adjust his accent in order for her to understand him better. She giggled a bit more before saying,
"You have a daughter?" she asked. "That's awesome! I've always wanted children! Are they fun? Are they wild?" she continued. More questions pushed their way into her mind, but she was afraid to ask them. There had been points in her life when people just told her to shut up, and she hoped that she could change that bad habit of hers - talking non-stop. A smile creapt into her face as she fel a surge of excitement flush through her body.

"Actually I be havin' three daughters," He grinned proudly at the mention of those he had sired. At the time he had been stunned by the news that one little night had resulted in children but now he took it in his stride. He was well aware of the fact that his girls were positively gorgeous. He couldn't be a happier parent, they had boosted his ego about fifty points each!
"I be havin' a very excitable daughter...she be worse than ye," He gave a wry smile as he recalled Flossy and her hyper tendencies, he was always amazed at how Lovey had coped with raising them all. "Then I be havin' another who be somewhat clumsy but much more calm..." That one was Honeycomb, the one who looked like an inverted version of him.
"Then I be havin' one I dinnae really see much," He pulled a face slightly at that one, Fudge really hadn't liked him since the day they had met, it always was a sore spot. That being said he released a small chuckle after a few more of her questions and shook his head. He would answer pretty much any that he was asked.
"Ye be very young te be wantin' children...But I be espectin' that a stallion be takin' up that offer of yours mighty quick given how pretty ye are."

Shiori's temperature rose much higher. She could feel herself badly blushing, thinking of her darling Verloren. He was very sweet, and playful and hyper just like her, but he had never flattered her in such a way Biscuit had just done.
"I... I uh am... I'm sort of seeing someone- I mean, thank you very much, you are... you're really flattering me!" she stuttered, trying to look for a way to turn around to hide her embarrasement. She twitched a little, playing wth the leaves at her hooves. "Are you seeing anyone? The mother of your daughters... Is she your mate?"

Biscuit chuckled lightly at the mare's embarrassment and shook his head, all in all he had met many females and as of late none of them had been capable of accepting compliments. Well, they accepted them but they simply weren't used to the attention - in some ways this amused him quite a bit but in others it left him somewhat confused. Having been brouhgt up by a reformed 'rake', he had grown used to the concept of flattering a mare senseless because she deserved it.
...Was he not meant to?
Unfortunately he wasn't permitted the time to consider this as she spoke again - this time mentioning her mate! He would have chuckled if it wasn't rude given he hadn't intended to seduce her on the spot but at least he now knew his place. It was the next questions that made him snort though...
"No, I be a bachelor...I be hearin' the mother of me girls has a new stallion in her life." He replied mildly, "Why, ye be interested?" He teased.

Shiori got over her embarrasment soon enough. She giggled, and wondered what she should do next. She hadn't met a stallion like this before. They were all either playful, brotherly, extremely rude, or just beautiful like her mate. She hadn't met anyone like Biscuit before. She tried to search for a good word to describe his attitude. Would outgoing be the word? Nah, maybe just a lady-charmer. ((I was actually thinking of saying a pimp xd ))
Well, she and Verloren had just officialized their bond, so she could still be friendly and joky around other stallions, couldn't she? Biscuit was quite the charming one. She decided she would play around until she simply couldn't go any further.
Smiling, she slowly trotted closer towards Biscuit. She flicked her head in a way made her neck stand out nice and beautifully, and the wind in her face. She turned so that she could face Biscuit right in the eye and whispered,
"No one could pass down an offer like that." she giggled to herself and winked at him, hoping he could tell she was only playing around.
