His last attempt at making the trip to a very special den, Wahabu had been distracted when he met brightly colored little lioness who turned out to be a friend of another lioness he had met. Time had run away with him then, but now he was dead-set that this is what he would do right now. It was easy enough, except distractions usually were unintentional.

Fortunately, he made it this time. Paying attention to the sight and sounds of the area, Habu was easily able to tell that it was a little too quiet for a family with five cubs- maybe they wouldn't be here. It happened sometimes, like how he himself was not at home.

"Hello?" Wahabu called as he got within earshot, not hesitating to make himself known.

Miamba could here the sound of his voice once more. Her Grandson was finally back to visit! As he called out, she stood herself up and made her way out to the den's opening. "Wahabu, is that you?" She smiled lightly and then peeked out of her home. "Ah yes, it is you! Come in, come in!" She urged her grandson to come in and then padded back into the little den herself.

She found a nice spot and then sat down on it, relaxing herself. "Sorry if it looked strange with no one in it, but ... the cubs are off playing somewhere in the Pridelands. Since theres 5 of them, I don't feel bad letting them run off in such a safe place ..." She paused, looking back up to Wahabu. She was curious to how he'd been and all. "So, everything going okay back at home with your father? Not getting into any trouble, are you? Though ... i'm sure your not. You always were the good one." She grinned and nodded. Then, she whispered lightly. "Have you heard any news about your sister ...?"

Miamba was rather curious. She never truely cared for the little devil, and hated how she treated her brother, so she always babied Wahabu instead.

Wahabu waited only a moment after calling out, and the quick response he got made him grin widely. He hadn't caught them all on a random away-day. Best of all, it was just who he'd hoped most to see. Still not hesitating in the slightest, Habu jogged over and followed her into a comfortable part of the den, where he too took a seat.

"I thought it was stragely quiet without all them around," he laughed, "It's really quiet at home, but I've been out and about a lot. I made a whole bunch new friends, but I still can't find out where Kubwa went to- his mother doesn't even know." Habu beamed at being called the good one, and offered only a negative shake of his head when asked if he'd heard anything about his sister- and gave no other information on that.

"What about you? Are you getting into any more trouble?" Habu asked with a playful grin. Certainly trouble was easier to get into with five cubs around.

(( Assume he's mentioned Kubwa before 8D Missing friend. ))

"Yeah, I would feel bad if I made them all stay here ..." Miamba shrugged and then smiled. "Its great that your making new friends, dear. I'm so happy for you." Though, once she saw a shake of no, she frowned. "Ah, well. I guess we can only hope for the best then, right? I'm sure shes changed ... i'm positive." She nodded and her smile returned.

"Naaah, I'm not getting into trouble. The cubs are a handful but even I can handle them. After all, I did have children before. ... Your father was one of them, those little wriggly pokey little cubs. Who get into mischeif no matter how old they are ..."

When Miamba expressed hope that Kilango was any different than before, Wahabu didn't even bother feeling bad about snorting at the idea. He was entitled to hold a grudge, he thought- it was hard to see now but he still had the scars from when she nearly killed him. And then there were the ones on his back from the same attack, but they weren't as serious.

"I don't think so, bibi," he said doubtfully, but using the same affectionate name he had for his grandmother when he was littler, "I- I guess you can't go too much farther down than trying to murder a sibling when you're a cub, but.." Habu shrugged. Kilango, in his opinion, could only improve.

"Was dad nice to his siblings?" Habu asked seriously, not sounding quite as curious as he was.

Miamba frowned. "I'm sure Kilango was just confused. ... your father was exactly the same way as a cub. Though, he did not threaten his siblings, he almost ran off before I could catch him, as a cub. Thankfully I had found him, and all was well."

She chuckled lightly. "Kizamaji was always the little bully of the group, until I disciplined him, and then he grew attached to me as aged. And then he found a mate, and had you and your sister. Even though he was somewhat crazy as a cub, he grew out of it as the time passed. I'm sure once you remeet with your sister, she'll explain the situation to you."

"... I just have this strange feeling that she'll be coming soon. I'm sure Kiza really would like to see her again. Your father worries often, I know for sure."

Wahabu just stared at Miamba, a wholly skeptical look on his face. He wasn't going to believe Kilango tried to kill him because she was confused, tortured him as she did because she was just going through some crazy cub phase that she would outgrow. Even hearing that his father was a bully as a cub didn't make him believe it was possible, his father couldn't have tried to kill any of his siblings.

He snorted when Miamba said Kilango would explain when she returned. Habu could pretend he didn't have a sister, but he'd always known his mother and father wouldn't forget, and wouldn't stop worrying.

"I wouldn't like to see her again," he said mumbled, now not looking particularly happy at the prospect of her returning and very certainly (in his opinion) destroying the peace they'd found when she left. This was certainly not one of his better sides.

She frowned more as he mentioned her not wanting to come back. It was almost as if he truly hated her with a burning passion. "I'm sorry you feel that way, Wahabu. Though, I cannot change your opinions, but ... sometimes ... its okay to forgive. Sometimes, its okay to forget the past. I just don't want you to hold grudges on the past. Things do change, and time does fly. You wouldn't want to hate her your whole entire life, do you? Hating ... is such a horrible thing to do. It makes you worry about the less important things in life, instead of focusing on things like family, and friendships. Maybe instead of focusing on your Kilango troubles, you should take a break from your troubles and spend some extra time with your father, or ... your friends."

She came over to her grandson, to give him a big hug. "Sometimes I even worry about you, dear. I know its hard to forgive others when things go wrong, but its not healthy to hate on someone that you should be loving. When she comes to you in a time of need, she will expect help, and I do hope that you will turn around and help. Because if something ever happens, and you need her help, i'm sure she'd be willing. Thats just how siblings are. Even I helped my siblings out as a young one." She had no other way to get the message out to him. She was simply confused that he could still even hold a grudge on her. Though, Miamba's nature did not include hating others, she could never hate another soul, as long as she lived.

Habu was polite enough to listen to what Miamba said, about forgiveness, grudges, hate and help- but he wasn't so sure he could do it, and he certainly wouldn't go asking for Kilango's help in anything. There couldn't be much she'd be able to help him with anyway! He couldn't imagine any way he would be of help to her, either. Habu was the only one holding a grudge, if she did come back she wouldn't need his head with convincing anyone else to be pleased to see her. He wouldn't even try to change that everyone else was so happy about it, either- that was helpful, and about as much as he thoght she should expect.

"I don't dwell on it or anything, only really if it's brought up," he mumbled in his own defence. Since Kilango had left, he'd slowly gotten used to the idea that he didn't need to look over his shoulder constantly and it had stopped entirely in good time.

"If I had any siblings who showed any kind of affection or friendliness, I would reciprocate and help them out too," he replied, a little hurt that it seemed like this had turned around on him being a bad brother, and thus a bad lion, "But I don't, so I can't."

Miamba backed away, looking into his two different coloured eyes. "Habu, I just ... I don't want your mind to be filled with worry. I'm sure you'll think of a solution to the problems when the time comes. Your life should be filled with happiness, dear. Even today you seemed troubled. Have you been okay lately?"

"I know its hard to help out someone who did things bad to you, but ... for the most part, it happens to most of us. But, the world keeps on spinning."

Habu frowned and looked down to his grandmother's paws, not wanting to make her so upset or disappointed about him. He'd been quite content until the conversation turned around like this, but then.. he hadn't really had many of these kinds of conversations since his mother left. And that thought made it a little more and a little less troubling all at the same time. What started as a friendly and cheery visit wasn't ending the same way.

"The world keeps spinning, but that doesn't mean things don't leave a mark," he said, glancing back a bit as if he could see his scars from there, but he wasn't just talking about physical scars and he knew that Miamba would get that, "Everything has been fine, nothing too unusual going on."

"I know, dear." She hadn't realized the scars on little Wahabu's body. Though, a smile returned as he mentioned everything being okay lately. "Well, that is good to hear. I don't want you getting too worried or worked up about things, its bad to think about that stuff all the time! I know I used to do it a lot, but ... i've learned to accept things, and continue my life." She nodded, and then stood up, stretching slightly.

Then she sat back down, and yawned. "I've been good myself, but you know how it is around here with 5 cubs!" She grinned, and flicked her tail proudly. It was nice to have cubs around, though. It kept her busy. Once they grew, she planned to return to her duties as a Nanny and watch over the other cubs in the Pride.
