The Library A large room composed of two levels, the library is possibly one of the bigger rooms in the mansion. Shelves after shelves line the walls of the first floor, covering everything from books on spells and rituals, to history, to fables and stories. Shelves also take up most of the space in between the walls, though in two locations they give way to seating areas, nice comfortable couches centered around low coffee tables, or just as comfortable chairs set around tables. There’s also several spots along the walls where shelves don’t meet up, and small niches with stained glass windows taking their place. These locations tend to offer the most privacy, for those who seek it… though its rumored there’s one niche that has a secret door of sorts into a private room, containing the most dangerous spell books and scrolls… but few know how to access it.
The second level is where most of the other scrolls are kept. This level does not cover an entire flooring area, but is instead a balcony area that runs along all of three of the walls, and a small portion of the fourth wall, though there is enough room up here for a scattering of tables surrounded by chairs, just like on the first floor. The north and south walls on this level are a honey comb of cubby holes, filled with scrolls. The east wall is actually covered in tapestries, many of which are historical and well preserved. There are also glass cases set every few feet, containing artifacts of either magical or historical significance. The west wall has a small seating area around its balcony that extends maybe a fifth of the way across on each side, but the rest of this wall is taken up by a large stained glass window that extends through both floors. Needless to say, when the sun sets every day it really makes for quite the sight. Such a large window also means that lighting inside the library during the day by any other means than natural is almost unnecessary. When the sun sets, though, there is a desk right by the entrance, usually lined with candles for the inhabitants of the Haven to use.

-click- Sliowly, a window on the first floor swings inward, a gloved hand pushing it open. Right before the window hits the wall, or a shelf, the hand withdraws back into the darkness. A moment later, two black tipped fox ears, followed by a curious face rise over the ledge, then glance around the silent library. The fox girl's eyes flash silver in the drakness as she takes in the emptiness. Grinning to herself, she then grasps the ledge and pulls herself up. Sitting on the ledge, she swings her legs back and forth as her ears perk forward, listening. She heard somebody walk past the library... probably a servant. Still, just to be safe, she shuts her eyes, focusing. A moment later, the fox girl disappears from sight, taking up an illusion of invisiblity. With that done, she opens her eyes and grinning again swings her legs over the ledge, then drops quietly into the room. Shutting the window, she then glances around. She was finally here, in the Haven. Jackpot! She thinks to herself, barely resisting clapping. This place was huge. The estates were big enough to be a township. Surely, this house must contain some riches.... and this huge library was a great place to start. Big libraries always meant expensive texts, maybe even a few artifacts on display. Ok, she couldn't resist. Ritska claps softly, her gloves muffling the sound, and spins in a circle, giggling a bit. Almost immediately, she clasps her gloved hands over her mouth and freezes. No, she'd heard there were vampies here! She had to keep quiet, be on her toes, move quickly. Else she might get her blood drained. That'd be bad. Nodding to herself, she lowers her hands, then quietly slips away from the window over to some shelves and begins searching for anything expensive looking that might be worth stealing.

raistlin heard a soft thud as he was walking past the newly made library in search of his room. he paused for the moment,"there shouldnt be anyone in the library," rasitlin thought to himself. suddenly from inside he heard loud clapping and the sound of shuffling feet. "now i know something isn't right," he muttered to himself. his eyes were squinting in a look of confusions. someone was trying to stay quiet but was failing misurably at it. walking to the door silently as if he was had glided across, then reaching for the knob. pausing to ready himself incase of a intruder he bursted through the doors, not leaving a second of escape. taking view of the entire surrounding he didn't see a single person. however, he sensed a strong presence of magic at work. shifting his eyes side to side, his hand on his sword he called out to the person,"i know your here, i may not see you, but i can sense your magic being use. either you undo your magic and become visible or i find you myself by tracing the source of the magic. your choice, i can call for my master and then your choice will vanish. take advantage of becomeing visible while you can, i can sense the the magic fade if you run and i will follow. it will take a matter of seconds for my master to arrive if you do so." he was hoping she would make the better choice in undoing their magic. he could and would trace the magic and follow it, however, he was not hoping to do more work than he had to.

Ritska flinches, her ears flicking back flat against her hair as she hears the door bang open. Dammmmmmmmmmnit, just my luck. She thinks to herself, mentally groaning. She had never been good at being quite... never been good at sneaking less she was in her fox form.... ah-ha! That was it! Ritska was hidden from his sight by shelves. This was perfect! The game wasn't up yet. Ritska smirks, setting her bag quietly on the ground and shifting it under a table, then casts an illusion to make it disappear. She could come back for it later. After that, she shuts her eyes, feeling herself transform. Ritska shrinks, white fur covering her body as she turns into an arctic fox. At the same time, her illusion of invisibility around herself falls. Ritska climbs out of the pile of her clothing left behind after the transformation, shaking a sock off her that was now big enough in comparison to her to trip her up. Ritska spells the pile into invisibility as well, then briefly pauses to straighten up her fur a bit. With that done, she runs past the door, so he saw her, then runs under a table and cowers there, acting just like an animal would if it had somehow gotten into a house on accident. Then, he'd fall for it and lower his guard, and she could sprint out the door. Perfect plan!

Perfect plan! sensing a jolt of magic being use he began walking for the table in which it had come from. just then a fox appeared from under it. sighing in belief that it was some average fox, then realizing that the place where the source of the magic had shifted just as the fox had. he laughed a little inside, "tranformation. such a simple trick, and yet so easily fell for. lets play along and see where things go." knowing that she had planned to escape from the open door being the only exit out waved a hand in the air and just as he did the doors closed. a small and hidden grin grew from the corner of his mouth. and just as he had the door, he also closed the windows. he closed his eyes then as he opened them they where different. they were now blood red and pupils where catlike. laughing aloud now he spoke out,"i didn't want to have to do any work but you gave me no choice, you may be able to hide from my human eyes. but to my vampiric vision your veins that are pumping with adrenaline. are as clear as day to me."

Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap.... this was bad. What kind of idiot had she been, cooking up this stupid plan to sneak into a mansion full of vampires?... people who were strong, fast, and talented with magic.... and, oh yea, could drain her of her blood in a heartbeat if they wanted to. Stupid .... that's what she was. She could have gone to a thousand different towns and done fine for herself, but she had to come here, where she might get herself killed. Reallllllll smart, she was. Ritska cowers under the table in the corner, flinching as the door, then windows slam. She was trapped. She hated being trapped. She was actually claustorphobic in this sense... or whatever it was called. Whatever, she hated being cornered. She had to get outta here now. Ritska shuts her eyes, feeling static in the air suddenly, and growing. No, not that way! She wanted out... but she didn't wannna lose control, not again. Too late. There was so much electrical build up in the air by now, she felt her fur standing on end. Suddenly, a bright blue lightning bolt arced through the air at Raistlin, followed in quick succession by another one towards the door. Ritska flinches as she feels the door explode into thousands of splinters, then bolts for it without even thinking, adrenaline and panic fueling her. This litte heist, needless to say, had not gone well.

This litte heist, needless to say, had not gone well. he had sensed the blood pumping faster and faster as the girl, which he discovered by the speed of the rush, began to quiver more and more in fear. then he felt a high build up of energy coming from the table where the fox had fled to. the evil smile grew even more as the bolt headed towards the door and just missing him. then he saw a blur of light as the girl dashed for the door. "will she never learn?" he questioned himself as a flame as black as the night sky engulfed him and when the flame vanished raistlin was gone. and in a splint second as the girl headed for the door the black flame reappeared in front of her and taking the flames place was non other than raistlin holding his now unsheathed katana in one hand with the free one in his pocket. the look of raislin's face sent chills through anyone within the area. the look of someone without fear or any emotions at that. staring singly at the girl with his red, cat-like eyes. he fangs and claws were now extended and bat looking wings folded against his back.

Meta, having heard the commotion, walked up behind Raistlin. He looked at the door, or what used to be the door and sighed. "I don't think kenshin-san will be quite happy about the door." chuckled Meta. He looked at Raistlin and looked in the direction Raistlin's eyes were so fixated. There appeared to be a small white fox rushing madly towards the fragmented door. As it was about to run by Meta crouched down and scooped the little critter up into his hands. "Awww, look how cute it is. Aren't you just a cute wittle white fox." Meta baby talked the little fox. He patted the little critter on the head gently. Its fur had a silky soft feeling to the touch. He started to scratch very softly behind the the fox's ear quite amused.

((Wha, meanie, throwing her against a wall like that XP She ain't a vampire ya know. )) Ritska ran for the door, not looking over her shoulder as she felt the warmth of some kind of fire behind her. Don't look back, just run. She tells herself..... lotsa great advice she was giving herself today. A moment later, the man appeared right in front of her in another spout of fire. This time he had a sword in hand. He was going to kill her! Ritska skids to a halt, feeling static build in the air again as her magic goes out of control again. Another bolt explodes over her head, this one just sending up a bright light. Ritska, hoping for it to distract him, turns on her heels to run in the other direction..... or, she would have... except suddenly somebody picked her up. Ritska begins to struggle in his grasp and n** at his hands, but halts as he scratch behind one of her ears. Ritska curls up in his hands, still quivering. Ok, this was bad... but still better than facing that other guy. This was safer. Now just take me outta the room or something... get me away from the freaky guy with the sword, she thinks to herself, repeating it over and over again, hoping he'd somehow do that if she thought it enough. No such luck. She never had that kinda luck. Life hated her, even if most of the time she loved it. It wasn't fair. Suddenly, Ritska felt the mean guy pick her up by her neck. Instantly, her eyes fly open again as she starts trying to bite him or something. It was hopeless, though. A heartbeat later, the guy hurled her at a wall. A wall! What? Did he think she was some kinda stuffed animal! Ritska hits the wall, pretty much like a stuffed animal would, and falls to the ground in a heap of white fur. For a moment, she stirs, trying to get up and get away, but needless to say, that had hurt, a lot, and she quickly slumped back to the ground, her sides quivering. Her head felt like one of her bombs had gone off inside of it, and her body felt like she'd been hit by an ogre or something large like that. Crap, she was going to pass out, which meant she'd transform back... and she hadn't gotten her clothes back on... oh how not fun. She was going to be dead and naked in a moment. Hearing movement, Ritska's eyes flicker over to the man, now approaching her, then roll up into her head as she finally passes out. Ritska's fur ripples, then recedes as she begins to grow, turning back into a human. A moment later, Ritska lay curled up on the floor in human form, still passed out.... and well, like she knew she would be, not really wearing any clothes.

Meta watched as Raistlin grabbed the little fox and threw her at the wall. A small thud could be heard from the force of throw. As the fox changed back into a girl, whom was naked, Meta turned towards Raistlin. "Calm down Raistlin. No need to use such brute force." Meta stated in a exasperated tone. He walked over to the girl and checked for a pulse. "Well at least she's not dead. Best get some clothes for her." Meta let out a relieved sigh and picked up the girl, doing his best to not stare like a pervert, and walked through the splintered wall into the library. "Hey Raistlin, her magic must have worn off so could you help find her clothes?" he asked as he placed the girl on a sofa.

Meta noticed the clothes atop the table near the window. He walked over to them and picked them up. As Meta walked back to the girl and Raistlin he let out a small sigh. "This feels a little awkward to be carrying her clothes." stated Meta under his breath. Walking up the the girl he placed the clothes on top of her to cover her body up. "Even if you gave her a chance such force wasn't required. Especially since she was already in one's hands."

Ritska's eyes flicker open as she feels energy surge back into her. For a moment, she seemed to still be in a bit of daze as she looked around in confusion. Er... what had just happened? One second she thought she was going to be safe when that other guy stepped in... now she felt like a cart had run her over.... which had well, happened once before actually, so she knew what it felt like. Ritska starts to sit up, then groans, putting her hand to her head as it gives a throb of pain, then freezes, her gaze dropping to the clothes set over her, but not put on. Instantly, her face reddens. Ritska shuts her eyes, and an illusion goes up that she was fully clothed. Ritska opens her eyes, then looks around again and freezes up, noticing that first guy right next to her. Uh-oh... time to leave now. Ritska tries to sit up again, to get to her feet, but the room lurches and almost blacks out again. Groaning, Ritska leans back again, once more holding her head in her hands. Ok, maybe not. Five more minutes, then she'd run. Meanwhile, make sure they didn't kill her. Ritska opens her eyes again after a moment, then lowers her hand and glances over at Raistlin. "Er... ok, look. I get that breaking into this place was bad... and I'm uh... sorry. Anyways, I promise, just let me leave and you'll never see me again. K?" She asks as she slowly picks up her shirt and starts pulling it on, wincing as she feels her side protest in pain. What had he done, kicked her in the side, thrown her against a wall? Esh... this really had been a stupid plan.

Meta sat on the arm rest at the end of the sofa not facing towards the girl. "Well we could, but it looks like your going to need some rest before you can move again. Apparently the blow against the wall has affected your brain and the side of your rib cage. Can't let you just try and walk out. Could be bad for your health." Meta said in a light tone. He started to hum a tune to himself.
