Ancelin sat on a bench at the local town center eating ice cream. She was idly licking a double scoop lemon and vanilla cone as her half open eyes lazily watched the local band playing in the center square. They had these every weekend. People who had just learned to play their instruments decently singing songs they didn't write. Ancelin didn't think much of them for their lack of originality, but the people playing at the time weren’t that bad and where currently playing a song she liked.
"Jani would be original enough to sing her own song.." An thought to herself, before she closed her eyes and let out a subtle sigh.

"... Sorry et took meh so long t'git 'ere." Jan had a habit of just appearing, since when she wasn't speaking or humming, she was dead silent. The girl's movements rarely made a sound. She'd been a bit hesitant about this meeting, as things had been... awkward and new, since both she and Ancelin had admitted their feelings. Of course, there wasn't a relationship yet, but Jan had agreed to at least be friends for now. They weren't dating, really, but... Well.
The tall girl looked almost as if she was going to join the muscians, with an acoustic guitar named Anne on her back, and some panpipes attached to her belt, but simply carried the objects with her on a regular basis. Smoothly leaning down to lightly kiss Ancelin's cheek, she shifted to sit next to the girl and stretched. "Mmmn." It was warm out, the walk here had been nice. "'Ow're ya?"

Ancelin's eyes popped up and her face lit up as she heard Jani's voice. She looked up to her with a wide, child like smile. "No no, it's okay. I got here early." She said as she shook her head from side to side. She held out the ice cream cone, offering the taller girl some of the chilled treat. "I would of got you one, but I didn't want it to start melting. You can have some of mine if you'd like?"
To Ancelin this was just like a date. Even though Jani had told her she wanted to keep things on friendly terms, she couldn't help but let her new found affections leek like a old faucet. But she didn't want to make Jani uncomfortable, so she did her best to contain them.. One could only wonder how bad An would smother Jani if she went full force, at the level of affections she showed surpressed.
She gently wrapped her arm around Jani's waste, squeezing her gently. "You look so pretty in that outfit."

Jan was torn between leaning into the embrace and shifting away from it, blinking down in surprise at her own lean form. Pretty in her outfit? She was just wearing a tight, brown hooded tank-top, sandles, and a pair of low-rise, faded jeans. Nothing special. Turning down the icecream, the tan girl removed Ancelin's arm, and rather than just push her away, held her hand instead. "... Thanks." Finally, she responded to the compliment, just as untalkative as ever, and eyed the musicians, surprisingly uncritical.
"Wha' did ya wanna do t'day...?" Her tone was casually interested, innocent, even though her thumb was gently rubbing circles on the inside of Ancelin's wrist as she stared at the band. They were okay players.

Ancelin sucked a small bit of the ice cream off, leaving a little yellow/cream colored mustash over her lips. She tilted her head in thought, before she said the best thing she could think of. "I want to do whatever you want to do, Jani." she smiled.
She gently squeezed Jani's hand and looked towards the band. She felt like a girl in a romance novel or a movie. She just wished it could get to the hot steamy love scene already. And at that thought, she couldn't help but blush. She blinked as she felt her face grow warm and quickly turned her head away, pretending to view the rest of the sights. "What a cute dove." She said, yeah. That's right.. She was looking at a bird. Not thinking dirty things.

Jan didn't really like the answer, probably because she wasn't sure at all what she wanted to do. It was times like these that she wished Ancelin was a little bit more like she had been. More direct, forceful. Decisive. Eyeing the older, but significantly shorter girl, Jan raised an eyebrow, her tone almost... Playful.
"... Dove? Tha'a a pigeon, Ancelin. Are ya okay?" The phesant sin'aeis was blushing a lot, lately, when they were together. Was she embarassed about being in public with Jan? Sjajan let Ancelin's hand go, frowning slightly. "... Ya wanna leave?" Maybe they could go somewhere private, or something.

Ancelin scratched the side of her nose as she looked at the bird, realizing it's true identity. "Oh yeah.." She muttered, before she licked the ice cream from her lip and looked over at the taller girl. "Um.. Sure. Are you hungry? We could go get something to eat. Or see a movie?" She then pondered even more. "Vincent doesn't have work today, if you want to go to my house and hang out with him. I know you haven't been able to see him lately." Maybe Jani would like that, having a third party around. She looked so uncomfortable being with just her. It made An frown, thinking that she made Jani uncomfortable. But it only made her more determined to do something to make her happy and feel good.
"You guys could play music together. I'd like to hear how much you've progressed with your guitar." She nodded, gently lacing her fingers together in front of her face in a thoughtful motion.

"... Let's do tha'. S'not far to y'house." And it really wasn't. It took maybe fifteen minutes for the girls to reach Ancelin's place, where... Hmm. There was Jan's motorcycle. Which meant that Indu was here. The redhead hadn't bought another bike to replace the one demolished in the accident, so the two simply shared instead. Bracing herself a bit, Jan let her face go blank, and opened the door for Ancelin. "They're here." She sounded... Almost disappointed?
Lifting Anne from her back, the blonde headed inside, shutting the door behind them, and glanced about, seeing no one in the entryway. By the murmurs, they were in the livingroom. Jan didn't know if she wanted to go in there, but figured she should at least say hello.
"'Ey, 'Du, How're ya, Tenshi?" A gorgeous smile lit Jan's face as she strode into the livingroom, placing her back against the wall, and wondering where Vincent had gotten to.
Indu had actually been in the kitchen, but was walking back into the main room as Jan entered it, two glasses of lemonade in her hands, one of which she handed to Tenshi as she joined the ex-angel on the couch. "Here, Love." Glancing up as her adoptive child spoke, she grinned back. "Howdy, Jan. I assume you saw the bike? I, ah..." She looked at Tenshi, signalling this was the first time she'd voiced the decision she was about to make, "... am planning on spending the night here, so you can take it home with you, if you'd like."
"... Thanks." With everyone off doing their own thing nowadays, the Reever house was practically empty. Especially when Jan shacked up at her apartment with Neme instead. However, if her ma wasn't staying, then she'd be sleeping at the Reever place tonight, to house-sit.

Tenshi let out a soft smile and waved to Jani's greeting, before the same hand took the drink. She wrapped her arm around Indu and nessled her head on her shoulder. She didn't say a word, just made a few loud exhails here and there. Her expression more daze like once Indu had rejoined her on the couch. Stotic, calm, and comforted. With Tenshi's new... personality, it was impossible to tell that Tenshi was rather happy to see the potato child and even happier to see that she was with her own adopted ward.
Ancelin stood in the doorway and smiled, she was used to Indu's visits now and didn't think much of it. She walked over and gently rested a hand on Jani's back, before looking down the hall. "Vincent is probably in his room. You wanna go look there first?" She asked, before looking to Tenshi for confirmation. Tenshi simply nodded, yeah. Vincent was in his room.

Being around Tenshi since she'd gotten back had begun to make Jan a little uncomfortable. Probably because the adult had always been so affectionate toward her, but now, the only person that could make Tenshi come out of her weird shell was Indu. Or, the only person that Jan had seen do it, anyway. Frowning slightly, Jan realized she wasn't quite ready to play any music.
Shaking her head slowly, she instead strode past Ancelin, letting a hand snag the other girl's wrist to pull her along behind her. She was heading for Anny's room, where she could put her stuff down, and have some time to think. As a last-minute, thoughtful gesture, the blonde removed her sandals in the entry-way, and put them in the appropriete cubby, before continuing to her destination.
Indu let a hand reach up to stroke at Shi's hair, before continuing to speak to her in a soft, soothing tone. Ever since the birth, Tenshi had been a little... Dazed. "You okay, baby? Can I get you anything?"
Jan was glad when she couldn't hear their voices anymore.

Ancelin kicked her shoes off the second they had come into the house, and didn't put any protest to following Jani up the stairs to her room. "Don't take Tenshi's silence to heart, Jani." She said, trying to comfort her as they made it to the top of the stares and onto the floor. "She's just been having a really hard time battling her depression since she came back... Like everybody else she's really changed this past year." She tried to explain. She opened her bedroom door for Jani, assuming that was the place she wanted to go to, and waved her hand politely for her to enter first. "She's happy to see you, really."
Tenshi shook her head and smiled at the touch from Indu. She then took a sip from her lemonade. "So long as you're here I'm fine." She whispered softly, spreading kisses from the red heads shoulder to her cheek. "How could I need anything else when you are here? My air, sunshine.." she then took a pause and let her hand grace up Indu's thigh. "And food."
Yeah, it was probably best Jani couldn't hear them anymore.

Jan entered the room and carefully set her guitar down, undid her belt and removed it to set her pipes on a dresser, took her wallet out of her back pocket, removed her cellphone from her front pocket, and finally removed the tie from her hair, letting the blonde strands fall around her shoulders. It'd already been a long day. Glancing at Ancelin over her shoulder, she nodded slowly.
"What abou' you? Are you 'appy t'see me?"
-----
Indu simply raised her brows, too pleased at the sound of Tenshi's teasing, playful tone [something that was rare, and that she missed] to admonish her sexual innuendo, and swatted half-heartedly at the other woman's hand. "Love, we're in the living room. Keep those fingers, and that mouth, to yourself."
At least, for now. The redhead smiled at the thought. Tenshi was rarely as lively and herself as she was when they were in bed. Which was something that should happen more often. Indu was glad she'd decided to sleep over. Speaking more to herself, she mumbled. "Hopefully Ancelin'll find somewhere else to stay tonight, as well as the rest of the kids..."

"Of coarse!" Ancelin said without a seconds delay to Jani's question. "I'm always happy to see you. I'm happiest when you are near." An said dotefully. She then picked up a bottle of fish food and began to tap it over several of the tanks in her room. The fish in each one quickly bolting to the surface to gulp and gobble at the dried shrimp flakes. All accept for one fish, good old Angel. He pressed his face against the glass, being the tank in front of Jani. He looked at her with his big, unfocused, side way eyes, swimming up and down as his o shaped lips bumped the glass. "Even the fish are happy to see you." An smiled.
-----------------------
Tenshi smiled and lanced her fingers agianst the hand that had swatted her, before she nuzzled her nose agianst Indu's neck. "Well we could always get off the couch.. And I'm sure An would have no qualms being sent home with that cute little daughter of yours." She said playfully. Most of the children wouldn't be hard to get rid of, and the ones that where hard to get rid of never left their room.
"What other of our kids should we shack up together to get rid of them?" Tenshi asked as she sat up a little, running a finger down her relaxed chin. She was joking, of coarse. But it was hard to tell in her dry impassive tone.

"... Ancelin...." How should Jan say it? To tell Anny 'Stop feeding the fish and pay attention to me' would be rude, so the blonde just shut up, and eyed Angel uncomfortably. The fish had always been weirdly obsessive toward her. Ugh. "Your fish are weird." The tall, unsettled teen stretched out on Ancelin's bed, rather than looking at the aquariums, and furrowed her brow slightly at the ceiling.
This room held a lot of memories. The last time she'd been in here, they'd told each other their feelings, the time before that, they'd fought, and a few times before that, they'd grown in their sleep. Hrm.
---------
"Whether or not we're on the couch doesn't change the fact that we'd still be in the living room."
Indu rolled her eyes, knowing that Tenshi was joking, and shook her head firmly. "Ugh, don't be gross. It's a good think you don't consider Ancelin your daughter, or I'd be really squicked out. You know I don't like that whole, inter-family relations thing." A pause, and Indu smirked. "Jan is far from little, but she is rather cute. She doesn't seem to have much of a sex drive though, poor Anny. Unless she's just shy."

An finished feeding the fish and set the bottle down. She frowned about the comment of her fish being weird. Something she loved so much and was such a big part of her, and Jani didn't like it... Now she knew how Jani had felt their entire childhood.
Ancelin turned her head to the girl on the bed and her mouth gaped open a little. She felt her fingers strech and her hand reach out, before she internally slapped herself and put her hand back down to her hip. She then stared at Mr. Puffy on the bed. Yeah, stare at the stuffed fish, not the hot blond laying on your bed. Much better.
An walked over and sat on the edge of the bed with her back facing Jani, but her hand gently rubbed up and down her lower leg. Her mind then wandered to the last time they where together in this room. This time she fought back the flush. "So.. How's that guitar I made you holding up? I hope it hasn't shattered on you or anything." She asked with a subtle smile. She had several scars acrossed her hands and fingers from where she cut herself trying to make it. But Ancelin thought of them as wounds of love. Something to always remind her of Jani. A reminder that hopefully all pains between them would eventually heal and just be faint reminders of the past.
------------
Tenshi sighed and nodded her head, before she rested it in her fingers, elbow resting on the arm of the couch. "And she has such nice tits too.. I feel sorry for An. Having such a nice piece of a** and not being able to do anything with it." Oh sure, Tenshi. You choose to only talk openly with one person, and then you got talking about how hot her adopted daughter is.. Smoooth. "But she's not as sexy as you." she added, green eyes moving over to the woman beside her.. Real smooth.
