Seth walked onto the boardwalk and look over at the rides and attractions that were along it. He knew that Vanessa would have loved to have been able to go on one of the many rides in the area. It was not like she had ever been on anything like them wherever she came from. It was then that his thoughts drifted to Vanessa's home land. From what he had heard it was definately a place that he would not be welcome. What would happen if he ever did go there. If he did he knew that nothing would feel right, the vampires there would not want him there and then was the problem of Vanessa's father. The guy would not rest until her life was completely ruined. He also knew that the guy would kill him on sight if he ever found out how he felt about his daughter. He could see it in his mind right now. The guy finding out that his daughter was with a human would definately lead to disaster and his death. Maybe Zero was the best choice for her, at least by being with a vampire her father might end up leaving her alone and she could end up being happy. Over all no matter what happened some one would end up, to put it nicely, facing the sharp end of the metaphorical axe. He had no idea why he thought this, but maybe it was just the fact that there was a part of him that did not want to believe that he could be happy, or anything remotely close to that. He had always been set apart from others, his outbursts of violent emotions did not help that fact. Right now he was letting his past influence his situation, and he knew that there was no way that could work of for the best. What he needed to do was just look ahead and have some faith that no matter what the outcome, the girl that he loved would make the right choice, the one that she wanted.

"And if it turns out that it is to be with Zero, well I guess I will have to accept that. They were just pretty damn close when they were together after all."

He realized that he had talked to himself, something that he had been doing frequently lately. He must have looked weird to passers by, a guy in a nice casual suit looking all melancholic and talking to himself, boy was he a sorry sight. He decided that to try and look more normal he would just pretend to browse the shops, at least that way it would look like he was just having a hard time finding what he was looking for.

Seth continued his way along the boardwalk stepping into a few stores along the way. As he was walking out of a small store that he had only went into so that he could take a rest from the crowd outside he spotted something that he knew he had to buy. He quickly grabbed it and bought it so that when next he saw her he could give it to Vanessa, probably as a sort of apology. He felt ready to go back and find her, he had had his time to think, and had come up with an answer. He would tell Vanessa when he got the chance, but first came the challenge of finding her.

"If I know Vanessa, she probably despite being hurt came after me. Guess I should look for her. I do hope she likes this plushie that i got her."

Seth looked around hoping that just like he was able to that Vanessa could find him, due to the special bond they shared.

Seth walked down the board walk confident that the next time he saw Vanessa everything would feel more normal. As he walked down the path, careful to avoid people and to keep the present safe he heard someone calling for him. At first he thought it was his imagination, but then out from behind a group of people he saw Vanessa running his way. He quickly ran up to her and grabbed her, clearly seeing she was in distress.

"Vanessa, relax it's me. Whats wrong, did something happen?"

Seth did not need to wait for her to say anything from the look in her eyes told him all he needed to know. Something bad was going on and at this rate nothing good could come of it.

Seth listened to what was going on, from the sound of it, part of this was his fault. It all came back to the fact that he was with Vanessa, that was the only explanation he could think of at this time for why there was an attack. He knew that Zero was somewhere out there getting attacked, and maybe close to death. That was something he could not allow happen, the guy had just saved Vanessa, it seemed that the favour would have to be returned.

"Vanessa, look this will sound stupid, I know, but I want you to take me to Zero. He saved your life just now by allowing you to escape and I know I can save him. You may not believe me, but I have one last thing that I can do to help, something that I had once promised to never do unless it was a life or death situation.I think this might count as one, don't you think?"

Seth was not lying when he told her he could do something. His power to manipulate ice allowed him one last trick that he had not used. It was a power that scared him because in essence it was unpredictable, though powerful. Not even a group of supernatural creatures could survive it, though the problem was that the same could be said about him, if he used it for too long. He gave Vanessa the plushie knowing that she understood it was for her. He then took out his snow flake pendant and looked at it while waited to Vanessa to tell him where to go. Well mom it looks like I will have to break that promise to you, I never planned for this to happen, but maybe I will be able to explain better if everything goes as I fear it will.

Shae left the kissing booth behind her, flipping her shaggy hair behind her shoulders, and moved forward, refusing to back down from this adventure, which she was SURE was going to be eventful. All she had to do was look around, and there was exciting things happening all around her! All she had to do was... make them happen!

First going to a foodstand, she nicked a bag of sweets, and quickly went on her way, using all the stealthy speed she had. Running between couples, nearly knocking people over, she was chased by no one, just enjoying the run. To be honest, she really didnt enjoy being around this many people. But, there wasn't miuch she could do... for half a moment, she wished granu was there with her, to adventure. She shook her head, she couldn't think about that now.

By the end of her run, she was at the end of the board walk, a dock over some water. The short girl flopped down, her feet hanging ove rthe edge, not quite hitting the water, as she niddled her sweets.

Vanessa held the necklace in her hand, staring down at the heart and black pendant. The heart, the one her mother had apparently left behind. She thought about it for a few minutes, and finally decided it was time for change. She took the heart shaped necklace from around her neck, and held it out to Zero. "I-I.., want you to burn it..." Zero opened his eyes wide giving her an odd look ." Though didn't your-" She nodded her head, and shoved it into his hand. "Just do it..." He hesitated holding it in his hand. She did look a little said, but she knew it was necessary in some way.

I never really knew her...The thing carries around my bad memories, and it would make things a whole lot easier to forget...It would, make me stronger... Zero kind of knew what she was thinking, and chuckled nodding his head. "Very well..." He squeezed it in his fist, and opened his hand back up as the necklace went up in black flames, then the dust blew into the wind.

She smiled, turning her attention to Seth. She held the snowflake necklace in her hand, grasping it tight as he transformed. Her eyes went wide a little scared at first. Zero snickered, looking disgusted. It wasn't the form of Seth that bothered him...It was vampire culture. Vampires never show their true form, especially if your in the royal court..It was a matter of honor, and a sign of true strength. To let something this powerful get out of control bothered him alot. He merely stood close to Vanessa, in case something happened. Though after a minute or so the hooded figures were gone. Though they would be back, with their boss. Zero was actually expecting him to show up, but guessed wrong apparently. "Hmmm, I guess I got you worked up over nothing...Sorry, V-Baby..." He patted her on the head as she frowned. "One, don't call me that..Two, I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT YOU WERE IN TROUBLE STUPID!" He laughed, shrugging his shoulders. "Geez, sorry.." He then smirked, chuckling.

Then Vanessa remembered about the necklace. Though, she couldn't make her legs move. She was a bit afraid...Please don't look at me differently.. She said to herself, as she forced her body to run over to him. She then jumped up, and slid the necklace around his neck, jumping backwards out of the way.

Vanessa watched him closely, seeing the ice coffin melt away from his body as he collapsed to the ground. She gasped, and immediately fell down at his side, looking over him. "Zero...He's badly hurt. " She said in almost a whisper, looking sadly down at him. Zero folded his arms and frowned. "It was his own damn fault..Using his powers to take care of them like that..." Vanessa shot a hateful look at him, as Zero stuck his tounge out at her with a smirk. "Hey now don't blame me.." She brushed a piece of hair out of Seth's turning back to Zero slowly. "I want to know why, why, didn't you use your powers? Those things would have been easy enough, I know how strong you are and that wasn't even close..."

Zero, sighed giving a defeated look. "One, I can't use my powers right now..Two, yes I could've taken them out without the use of my powers at all..." Vanessa knew what was coming, as she clinched her dress tight.."Also," Zero said with a small pause, "for my own personal reasons.." Vanessa smacked the ground, hard with her fist. "Damnit Zero! Awfully selfish of you!" She was angry with him, as she grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him to her. Then pointed a finger, shaking it in his face. "Your going to take him to the infirmary then, NOW!" Zero winced, seeing how angry she was. He merely rolled his eyes, walking over to Seth. "Fine..." he then picked him up in his arms, looking him over. "Here we go then.." Zero then phased out of sight, in almost a faint blur. Vanessa meanwhile stayed behind, she would meet up with them shortly....
