Discuss anything pertaining to gaming that you feel is underrated in any way. (No smartass comments saying "[insert game/console here] is so great that it can never get enough praise." Nothing like that better be said or I'll delete the post. )

Indigo Prophecy on the PS2, Xbox and PC was one hell of a game, compelling story, interesting gameplay, and wonderful character development.
If you haven't played it, I urge you to do so.

The Sega Saturn...and Dragon Panzer was the coolest RPG ever on the Saturn. It was out when the BIG games were out in 1998..So it was pretty hard for Dragon Panzer to get any attention.

Well, this is just my opinion but Blade Dancer on the PSP. It didn't get very good ratings and I thought it was pretty good. I dunno, the ending wasn't really good, so maybe that's why they gave it a low rating but I think it deserved better than it got. It was pretty fun to me.

Shadow the Hedgehog Kingdom Hearts is very overshadowed by the awesome KHII. Sonic and the Secret Rings. It doesn't get nearly enough praise. I suppose critics felt that gamers wanted Sonic to die. Huge pressure.

Beyond good and Evil. It was a great game. Good story, comical anyhow, with nothing but fun, solid gameplay. It was a great game that went under the radar

LordOfTheJig Dare I say it..... Red Steel?
-waits to be flamed- Seriously though I've herd some bad things about the control scheme of this game which just makes me a little nervous about it. Could be a rental sometime in the future though.

River_Felix LordOfTheJig Dare I say it..... Red Steel?
-waits to be flamed- Seriously though I've herd some bad things about the control scheme of this game which just makes me a little nervous about it. Could be a rental sometime in the future though. Considering I probably played it longer than anyone in this guild and got through some pretty cool boards and all I know that it was indeed underrated. I have no current problems with the controls. I did at first but I turned down the sensitivity and I got a hang of it and it's actually quite fun. As I was playing it I was wondering why it got the rating it did.

It was a great game that went under the radar *hugs* Just when I think you couldn't be any cooler... @River_Felix: first of all, that's the funniest thing I have seen in days. Second of all, good to see you in the guild. I was hoping you'd make your way here. I apologize if you've been here for a while and I just haven't noticed. mrgreen

I would have to say Suikoden II for the PS1. I don't know many people who know about it. I consider it one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Great gameplay and great story. It's for the PS1 so it's lacking in graphics, but the game itself makes up for it. Plus you can choose from over 100 party members. Means you won't be forced to have someone you don't like in your party.
