A bored, exasperated sigh befell the lips of the dark, cerulean-maned stallion as he meandered aimlessly along the worn dirt path beneath his hooves, azure irises focused flatly on the fading sunset against the distant horizon. He hated sunsets... every other soquili he'd met had always loved them, but to him, they signified an end... to the day, sometimes to a season... but always an end- and to him, that was depressing. At the end of the day, everyone always left or went to sleep, and he was left alone. However childish it was, he blamed the sunset for it.
Kicking a loose rock with one of his front hooves, he snorted as he trudged along, lifting his head as a cool breeze caught a stray tendril of his forelocks and lifted it. A small grin grazed his ebon' muzzle as, on a whim, he took off in a speedy canter, following the wind where it was lifting his mane. Who knew where he'd end up... the prospect was exciting. He might end up in a distant land, and make new friends... that would certainly put an end to his boredom.
Mind made up, he increased his speed, only smiling wider when the landscape around him began to change.

Her chocolate brown eyes gazed about her as she grazed on the sweet grasses of summer. The sun had started to set and Arome became excited. At this time her heart throbebd as the darkness cornered in. She was a very rowdy young thing and with the sun setting the prospect of the energy of the night loomed in.
Though how ever excited she may of been she waited as patiently as she could. If only she could of gotten her fathers temper rather them more of her mothers excitale nature.
Arome had not met many other soquili and the only one she remembered that wasnt family was Yiska. He seemed like a nice foal and she began to wonder what of him now. Looking aroud she relaxed more as she forgot what it was she was waiting for in the first place.

Azure hues were closed in contentment as the young stallion simply ran, letting the wind guide him... before something passed so close to his face that he felt the rush of air pass millimeters away from his cheek, rustling the fine hairs there, and his eyes snapped open in surprise. Losing his balance in the commotion, he went tumbling to the ground, ending up sprawled gracelessly in the dirt. His first priority, however, was making sure he hadn't hurt anyone else.
Looking up at the object that he had narrowly missed hitting in his ignorance, Nahuel's face heated lightly as he recognized that it was another mare, and he hauled himself to his feet as he trotted over, head lowered in apology. "I'm really sorry Miss, I didn't see you there... are you okay? I didn't hit you, did I?"

snapping her head she reared in suprise as the object almsot hit her, muching and crow hopping away a few feet before turning to face the black mass heading towards her. She held her head proudly and nickered lowly, pawing the dirt below.
" I am, you should be more careful stallion, a few more centimetres and im afraid you would of collided into me. Do you always go roaring about the land so ruthlessly?"
She eyes him up, sizing him it would seem. He wasnt much bigger then her, of coarse she was big for a mare and perhaps would of been better fit a stallion, but her face was gentle and pretty like a mares. Her white face glared out as the sun set and her black eye lids blinked accordingly to get the hair away from her gentle face. Flicking the curling locks of her tail she looked him over and laughed a bit.
" Do not worry, im afraid im not as brightly colored as most like yourself with your blue hues, I am bit of a plain Jane myself, so all if forgiven. What are you doing may i ask, around here? You could of ran into a tree if you kept going like that."
Musing her tail flicked once mroe as she pawed the ground in a very energetic manner. Not knowing how to act around another her voice at times was known for sarcasm though she could not help that at all. She looked over him to make sure he had not hurt himself. She didnt really care if he did but she just didnt want him to go after her for hurting himself.
