Hi, does anyone else think that Near is looks like and is a kid? To me he looks like to be about 13. At most he is 16 and at least he is 11.

He's 18 years old actually, and yes, he does look like a kid. He's only 5 feet tall, I looked it up on his profile.
He stays 18 because his birthday doesn't come until November something, and it's January 28 at the end of Death Note.

'L' is supposed to also be older than he looks...
I too had thought that Near was 16 at the oldest, 14 at the youngest... 18...

And as for L (as someone mentioned he's older than he looks) He had recently turned 25 when... well... He was killed (His birthday is October 31st (1979) and he was killed November the fifth (2004))
For other characters' birthdays:
Raito: February 28th (1986)
Misa: December 25th (1984)
Matt: February 1st (1990)
Mello: December 13th (1989)
Mikami Teru: June 7th (1982)
Sayu: August 18th (1989)

And yes, L would've been turning 28 this year. the year that DN ends (2010) he would've turned 31.
And (spoil) Raito died a month before he was supposed to turn 24 - on the date xD (died 28th of january - should've turned 24 on the 28th of February). Well, sucks to be you Raito (but I feel more sorry for Matt - only five days BEFORE his birthday (not to mention L who died five days AFTER his birthday~))(end spoiler)
