Soooooo? What'd you think?

My time: 11 hours and ten minutes. ^^ Much faster than HBP (22) and any other book, really. It was AMAZING!!! PERFECT!!!!!

(Here be where the spoilers begin).

The creepy part was, the first twenty-odd chapters (up to Gringotts) were very strange to me: kind of like a fanfiction I wrote. Sure, it's her style, but the way things happened, and the way people died...and the rate at which they did...was completely me. It was creepy. O.o Only, I'm meaner than JK. Trust me, if you were, say, Carri, you'd know.

The ending was perfect. Entirely perfect. Not a single complaint from me.

Question: How did they get Gryffindor's sword back? I don't remember reading how...it was just kinda there....

And where did the Dursley's go? Did they make it okay? Do we care?

Now, I'm not the only person who has killed a character twice. (once in the middle of all the crappy stuff, then once after, when he's like 60.) I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who's killed a character three times though. ><

Happy happy. ^^ It was amazing.

I read it in just under 7 hours >.<

Rowling has like comepletely sold out, she just killed off characters for the sake of it. I mean how does killing Hedwig expand the plot?

I think too many died, and stuff.

I hated the nineteen years later, it was really lame. "All was well" sounds like it was rushed.

I thought that Harry was going to get all of the Deathly Hallows and then when Voldemort killed him he uses those to come back but the whole blood thing got me confused.

And I'm confused, how did Voldemort's killing curse get rebounded?

I'm really sad it's over now, I wish she would do a book about the first war, you know when The Order of Phoenix started.

Superexcellently

The ending was SO like her. I rather disliked it, you know, the way things turned out. The rest of the book was fine. Teddy Tonks should have been living with Harry, shouldn't he? After all, Harry IS godfather. But he didn't seem to be...

I think James said, OUR Teddy...I dunno. No, I don't think he was...maybe he lived with Andromeda?

Aw, SE...not too many people died. They just had to, to invoke the mood, and to show how awfully bad the second war was. It's what I would do. I randomly kill off people, as well, though I don't have as many named characters as she does. It really does have a point. And remember when Sirius said not to send hedwig, because she was too distinctive? Well, what if she was flying around Harry's camp places and such? He'd have to do something with her eventually. I miss her, though...

I'm glad Harry got his wand back.

And the killing curse rebounded because Malfoy was the owner of the Elder Wand but then Harry disarmed him so it was rightfully his, and Voldemort couldn't use it to kill him. I dunno. It was weird. I'd rather ginny died for him or something, and Voldemort couldn't kill him without killing himself, like last time.

I do love how he used Expelliarmus to kill him though. xd

I dont think Harry should have been married. I think he should have either been a hermit, or headmaster. If he had to get married though, I wanted it to end like that. >< And Neville a professor, too...

VOXXXIE GET LOST YOU HAVENT EVEN READ PAST CHAPTER EIGHT AND READING THE LAST CHAPTER DOESN"T COUNT!!!!! scream

Jeebus, calm down. I finished the actual book ages ago. You know it's impossible for me to have a new book for more than a night or two.

HP7: 5 hours, 37 minutes, 13 seconds, 4 whatever it is that comes after seconds. Turns out Dad was timing me. heart

Reading Time: 5 days - 17 hours - 19 minutes

Sorry I actually take the time to ENJOY a book. Sheesh rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes

Dunno, how I feel about the ending... wish we could have seen a little more after Harry talked to Dumbledore's portrait. But I suppose there wasn't much to go on after that. And I LOVED the 'Nineteen Years Later' epilogue. I found it very amusing.

How did Draco get the Elder Wand again? The whole Elder Wand process got me confuzzled, but I got the general gist of it. It's amazing how Rowling managed to weave all of this over the course of 7 books xd

*Looks at his own story*

... ya know, I don't think I'll be attempting any of my own writing for the remainder of the day. My plot looks like complete crap when compared to something as epic as Harry.

Funny, Harry inspired me. ^^

Something like that happens in my book, Hawkie! I mean, people die twice (erm, three times sweatdrop )and all. I loved dead Harry, SO much. heart Better than alive harry.

I think Draco disarmed dumbledore, then Harry disarmed Draco. I dunno. :/ I was confuzzled as well. I need to read it again...erm, seven more times.

Oh, Albus. I heart Albus. Jr.

Haha, yeah. The names Harry gave his children was to be expected, but cool nonetheless xd

Ok, I'm going into post-Harry-Potter depression now... don't know why it just dawned on me that everything is over. I mean, I grew up with this series! I remember reading the first book in elementary school, and now I'm a senior in high school!

Craziness.

Not sure why I'm not inspired to write. Suppose I just want to dedicate the rest of the night to remembering Harry Potter and everything that went on.

Waitwaitwati...you're a SENIOR?

crying

You are too old, Hawkie! Too too old!

I read HP&daSS when I was...eight? Seven? Yeah. And I always wanted my hogwarts letter gonk

I miss Harry. But I'm gonna give the books to my kids *coughTWINScought*

It is unavoidable.

Ah, Harry.

The seventh book almost made me love Snape. I definitely view him with a lot less loathing. Feel sorry for him, now.

You've inspired me. I'mma print up a fake hogwarts letter and stick it on my wall. heart
