Okay, here's the deal. I just recently started playing D&D with a few friends and my fiance. I'm not too good at it. I wanted to start this topic so I could learn and get a few hints on my expressions during the game. So, got any ideas??? redface

To inform you, there are already a lot of role plays in progress in the free role play zone.
I am decent at D&D, and usually make the interesting characters. I get accused of making weak characters tough, but where your playing next to someone with weighted dice (always getting 19 and 20's), of course your character is going to seem weaker.
Where are you called weak on D&D? Character portraying and reaction, or character strength and combat powers? If you are weak with combat, that is all up to the dice, and has little to do with you. Character portraying and making good characters we can help you with however. Take a look in the Frequently asked Questions forum about character creation. Some of the info there might help you out.
