If you go to my profile and visit my home, you'll see that I've been trying to get it to look like the swamp from M*A*S*H. If anybody wants to come over, feel encouraged. biggrin We can also use this topic to plan any future house parties at the swamp. whee
On another note, if anybody has tips on what house items I can add to make it resemble the swamp, tell me in this topic. 3nodding

You'll have to send a link to your place. I'd love to see it. I'm trying to recreate the Officer's Club in my house.
Send a link Hawk!!! IEditYourWorld

IEditYourWorld I'm trying to recreate the Officer's Club in my house. IEditYourWorld That's going to be hard, without tires. You still have single unit tables and bar stools to work with. My job is nearly impossible. I wish the faktori sold footlockers and army cots.

The GreatSalazarSlytherin Youve done a pretty good job Thank you. smile All things considered, I tend towards agreement. There simply aren't enough 1950s-era Army items for it to be an exact replica. The Faktori had an old-timey stove (like the one in the swamp), and makeshift beds, which are the closest things i could find to 1950s Army cots. If only there were olive drab wall tiles.

One of us could start a petition to add those things.

Steel The Stoic One of us could start a petition to add those things. I'll nee a list of items that don't currently eist. 1. olive drab wall tiles 2. 1950s-style army footlockers 3. 1950s-style army cots If I can find a picture of the swamp online, or a list of props from the show, I'll be able to add more things to the list.

The Swamp actually has four cots. The fourth one was first used by Spearchucker, who was rarely seen off it. Then it went unused.

I hope this makes your task easier, Hawk. http://corky.net/scripts/mash.htmlHere is the part I feel is important. They open the door of the tent and go in. There are three canvas cots with sleeping bags on them, a plank floor, an oil stove, electric light, a few crude shelves, one table and one chair plus assorted crates serving as same.

Thank you for the resource.
Well, I have the stove, the tables and chairs, and crates (makeshift chairs), but I will need to start a petition for canvas cots, and also an alcoholic still, and olive drab wall tiles.

Dr Hawkeye Pierce Thank you for the resource. Welcome. Dr Hawkeye Pierce Well, I have the stove, the tables and chairs, and crates (makeshift chairs), but I will need to start a petition for canvas cots, and also an alcoholic still, and olive drab wall tiles. I think Gaia will add all of those things, upon request, except for the still. I say that because my name wasn't always Steel The Stoic. It was Steel Reserve 211, but Devoslack (an omnimoderator) informed me that since it sounded too much like an alcoholic beverage, it needed to be changed. (He gave me a couple weeks to decide on one, and when I told him my decision, he changed it for free). Devoslack also removed the beer posters from my profile.

How about a chemistry set instead of a still?
