"Ooh I love this time of year!" Banalina giggled with joy. It was spring, the time of year when new beggings started, and when a new type of beauty visited. Galloping across the plain, Banalina laughed whole heartedly, bounding all around with out a care in the world.
Stoping, she remmemberd that she would have to go back, for she was watching a littleun'. Her ears raising upwards, she cantered back to where she came from, the tall grass swaying by her long slender legs. Reaching a patch of shorter emerald grass, she smiled down at a curled up bundle.
The Sun grazed over Raphaels' silky cotten pelt. It warmed him even more, which made him stire slightly, only to stretch out his fox body. Birds called to one another, soothing him into a peaceful slumber. He loved the sound of music more than anything. It made him feel as if he was in a diffrent place.

The warm rock beneath Zale seemed to give life to his golden fur. He whined, barely scooting over enough to escape the sun to continue his nap. With his eyes still cracked open, he watched the tall grasses at the bottom of a little hill dance around in the spring wind.

Leaning down, Banalina stroked the young FoxTaur's pearl whtie hair. He was such a handsome boy. She gazed at him lovingly, as a mother would. Thought she had only become his care giver for awhile, she had already gotten attatched to him. He too, seemed to like her, always staying near her, and mimicing her quite a bit. Though she was still a teen, she didn't hesitate at all to act as a mother figure to him.
A rush of wind from the top of a hill brought brilliant aroma's to the duo, one which was indiffrent as well. It wasn't familiar either. Her ears swivled to where it had come from, and she turned her head. "Hmm." she thought aloud, squinting her eyes to see if she could find any sign of another Taur. Not seeing anything, she became a little uneasy. Her staff in one hand, she gently stroked Raphael's coat "Come on little one." she said softly.
Grunting quietly, Raphael blinked his eyes open. Looking up, he saw his protecter over him. Smiling, he cooed, and yawned widely, his eyes watering a little. Scratching behind his ear, he stretched his body once again. Raising his torso up, he smiled up at Banalina in a goofy way. He yipped, raising his hands, wanting to be picked up.

He just couldn't seem to fall back to sleep. Zale stood up, stretching his arms above his head as his forelegs stretched out far infront of him with his rump in the air. He mewed softly into the air, crest fallen when no-one answered him.

((Awweh! I love when my dog stretches like that! whee 4laugh heart ))
Putting her staff under her arm, Banalina scooped up the tiny FoxTaur. His tail hanging out slightly, she walked towards the smell. "Let's go see something.."
Playing with Banalina's bell around her neck, Raphael sniffed the air. His ears perked up as he caught the scent of something. He paused, and whined at Banalina.
"What is it Raphael?" she looked at him worridely. He seemed to have caught the scent as well. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go investigate with the little one. Just as she was about to go back, Banalina caught the desperate, pathetic mew of something.

{ I laugh when my cat does it! xd }
As the wind shifted, it brought two new scents along with it. Zale's body tensed and his eyes widened as he scurried for cover in the grasses. He whined as his tail pushed between his legs.

Coming up the hill, Banalina set down little Raphael. She parted way to ze crosses of branches, assisting Raphael to get by unharmed.
Upon the hill, it was much more dark and musky than on the plain. Stepping lightly, and cautiously, Banalina called out "Hello? Is anyone there?"
Staying close at Banalina's hooves, Raphael clung to her staff, which she had used to help him keep up and not get lost. One hand was in a fist, his knuckles covering his mouth as they advanced. He looked around, a little frightened, whimpering softly.

Another little whimper escaped his lips as he tried to slink away from the approaching party. That is, until he saw it. A little grasshopper leapt from a stem straight onto his arm and Zale's eyes popped. He screamed, jumping high up into the air and hurriedly swatting at the fiend.

With a gasp, Banalina stumbled back a bit. Raising a hand to her chest, she steadied her breathing from the fright. Infront of her was a petite CatTaur. It seemed to be a male, and was alone. A young Taur alone was vury unsafe, and it could die.
Noting the grasshopper that jolted away from scaring the CatTaur, Banalina smiled. "Hello there. Are you alright?" she asked the CatTaur in a angelic voice. She advanced towards him slowly, smiling sweetly.
Having been spooked as well from the scream, Raphael had hidden behind a overgrown bush. Peeking out from his spot, whining, he spotted a gold figure. His ears perked up, he immideatly knew who it was. Slanting his eyes, and lowering his ears, Raphael's body sluggish look obviously displayed his displeasement of this Taur. Knowing exactly whom it was, Zale, Raphael recalled his encounters with the Taur, which were not all deliteful.

{ I'm so sorry that it's been so long! gonk But if all goes well, Fiore should be joining them within the month.}
Zale turned to the luminous voice with wide eyed wonder. She had to have been the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen in his life. He mutely nodded, not taking his eyes off her for a second. The sheepy Taur had totally captivated his interest, taking away the scenary and other noises. If he was a little more rash, he would have hugged her.
Until...he saw Raphael. That memorable white fur sent rivers of micheviousness down his spine. His tail twitched back and forth as his claws flexed into the earth, a slow smirk lighting up his features. He wasn't exactly happy to see the other Taur but a little rumble couldn't hurt anything. A little growl escaped him as he tackled the little FoxTaur.

Relieved that the young one was alright, Banalina sighed in relief. Noting his gold pelt, she saw strands of blood red in his hair, which was rather interesting.
Growling when the Cat Taur came in contact, Raphael tried to push the playful Zale off. "NO!" he yelled, squirming around.
A worried expression on her face, Banalina trotted over to the duo "Be nice boy's, please.." She said, not sure what to do.

Zale stumbled back on his rump with tears standing in his wide eyes. " No? " He squeeked, a rather pathetic crying session coming on. A little sniffle escape him as his hands came up in front of his chest.
With the purr killed in his mood, he sat there, waiting for the Wolf Taur to make his next move.

Waking with a start, little Kriss wiped the backs of his dirty hands across his sleepy eyes futher smearing the dirt. He stood, blinking around him, trying to remember where he was. After a while, when no memory came to him, he silently wandered a bit toward the sound that had woken him. He made sure to stay hidden in case of any unseen dangers, but the sounds and voices didn't seem that threatening so he dared to venture closer than he would have normally.
The voices owners were almost within the little foxtaur's sight when he noticed a vining bush heavily laden with ripe berries. Without hesitation, he turned his focus on stuffing as many of the dark berries into his mouth without actually choking on them, before swallowing and doing it all over again.

A small, dark body crept up behind the gobbling FoxTaur with a smile. He looked so pretty, his pelt reminding her of a sweet human food that she had eaten a while back. So as not to startle him, she walked a bit away and started eating berries at a slower rate, taking sideways glances at him.
When she had walked upon the clearing, she had seen a gathering of Taur's and tried to stay clear, but this one made her want to learn more about him. Maybe it was the tattoo on his arm or something more. For one so young, Jynx was very bright.

He was still listening to the group of voices with one ear, but Kriss was giving most of his attention to the sweet food in front of him. As he cleared the vine, his soft paws absently side stepped, taking him further down the long bush. As he neared the end, he became suddenly and acutely aware that he was not alone.
With full, berry stained cheeks and wide eyes, he stared at the dark little taur as she slowly nibbled berries off the very same vine he had been so occupied with. As if caught in a crime, he stood not moving until a small sideways glance from her snapped him out of his trance, causing him to quickly swallow the rest of his bite and relax his stare. He blushed a bit when she looked at him with obvious curiousity, and wondered if he should say anything. He was still very young and hadn't yet encountered a taur on his own, leaving him unsure how to introduce himself. So instead, he just continues to stand there awkwardly, drawing an arc in the earth in front of him with a single dirty paw.
