Manor Hall is situated in one of the most pleasant rural villages in the Scottish countryside, and offers a range of wonderful get-away to suit every need. Lavish luxuries are seen throughout the manor, and the surrounding area , it offers indoor spa’s, outside heated swimming pools, menagerie, tennis courts, inside cinema, riding stables with set trails, and a host of other entertainment. A small village is situated 3 miles from the manor house with Victorian styled housing. A small community nestled within the valley, regular trips are made to the village, where you can buy any necessities , drink the local brew at the pub, or buy gifts for your friends and relatives. Boasting spectacular views, will provide a quiet haven from fatiguing lifestyles where guests are assured peace and tranquillity. Totally separated from the village, you are able to unwind. Popular throughout the ages with historians, artists and travellers alike, Goscott’s narrow streets hum with activity offering guests a wide rage of interest. The village Goscott is steeped in ancient history, but one that the villagers are unlikely to share. A deep secret penetrates into the heart of the community, where whispered voices and shifty eyes are all too common. Unbeknown to the guests at Manor Hall, old rivalries are soon to be rekindled and the past once more brought into the present. The guests soon find themselves in the middle of conflict and are unable to comprehend the situation. Strange items soon appear around the manor and events go catastrophically wrong within the village. The residents at the manor band together to try and solve the mystery of Goscott village, but with little help from the inhabitants themselves.
Myself and Mkatsi- Lady Stardust will be leading this roleplay much like a murder mystery game, vital clues will be given at any moment within the game. Newspaper clippings will appear, also myself and Mkatsi will take the role of any characters within the story such as the Manor owners and any villagers necessary, which will also give clues. We will only take on the roles of characters that we feel will help the story along- by doing this we will indirectly control your character placing a clue within the post so watch out for our posts. For example you have sat your character at the bar- we may then take the role of the waitress or bartender:-
the bartender rubbed down a misty glass and looked up and down at the newcomer- patrons didn’t seem to stay at the Manor Hall very often of late, but then he wouldn’t expect them to with all the scandal going on around here. It had been almost ten years since the last incident…
This may later be backed up by a newspaper article dating back ten years discussing the event that might have occurred.
Hopefully you understand all this, and it will work well, if you go along with the story and use the clues given everything should piece together in the end. (Unfortunatly for some that we ask you to roleplay as your human counterpart, this is due to myself and Mkatsi having a preset storyline, which makes unable to have any supernatural abilities. Sorry for the inconveniance.) Have fun.

*Maya didn't even know what she was doing in Scotland, much less in this little village, Goscott. She told herself it was because she needed to get away from her family, particularly her abusive father. Running away always seemed like the best option when there was a conflict in her family. Maya tried to act normal here, as though she were human, but her aura seemed to give her away, judging by the way the people around her were treating her. Then again, no humans had ever really noticed that she wasn't one of them. Maybe the fact that she was a newcomer in Goscott was why she was getting so many weird stares. People in this town were edgy. Maya could sense that something was wrong. Either something was happening now, or something had happened long ago, and the ghosts of the past were haunting this town. Maya snapped out of her reverie as soon as she saw the blinking lights of a bar not far ahead. She quickly hurried in, for she had made a long journey, and was tired and thirsty.

*Anime walked past the town’s people and that they all seemed worried about something that they wouldn’t talk about or even think about they were very troubled people. Anime knew that her visit to the Manor Hall would have to be cut short because it would only be a matter of time before she got thirsty again and had to go hunting again. Anime never stayed in the same place for too long because she liked a wide range of animals to feed on. Anime had arrived to the Manor Hall and then decided to make her way to the bar; maybe the people in there wouldn’t be as shaky. When she entered the room she noticed a girl with short hair sitting at the bar that was a little more than normal and decided to sit beside her because she would be less scared of her than others would. Anime sat down and played with her long white hair and waited for the girl to talk to her well knowing that she would.*

* Aly wandered into the cozy little bar that rested in Scotland, Goscott. She couldn't understand the faces and stares that she received as she made her way up to the bar outside. It was if the villagers knew that something was different about this place. She had heard rumours that spread around across the world about this one place, which the appearances of objects and shifty eyes were common. Despite her family’s pleas, she had come to this place. People had warned her that it was not a place to be reckoned with, that ancient conflicts terrorized the villagers who lived there. She had heard that it had even disturbed the villagers enough to try and banned together to eliminate this unknown presence. The appearances of objects long forgotten, seemed to send shivers up the spines of the inhabitants and Aly found herself strangely drawn to the manor. She could still remember her grandmother's pleas as soon as she found out about Aly's quest. The pain and fear that Aly had sensed was almost enough to have stopped her... almost. Whatever the reason, Aly found herself believing that it was her destiny to come to this place and no one could stop her. She grabbed the door handle and tried desperately to ignore the whispers that floated around the village. The door opened easily enough, and that pleased Aly. Stepping into the bar, she could feel the presence of another person who was already inside. The aura that Aly felt gave her the clue that this person was no human. She was a demon, like Aly. Her black hair, which was worn freely, was grown to the middle of her back. Her eyes were chocolate brown and her appearance made her look like she was human. Aly was a petite girl and many people believed that she could not be more then fifteen years old, which could be a deadly mistake. They would often assume that she was weak and nothing but a mere human child. They would have no clue of the powers that she possessed. Aly’s eyes wandered around the room until they layed upon a girl that she felt and noticed that she was not alone. There was another girl there over by the table that the girl was sitting at. A small smile appeared on Aly’s face as she made her way over to the two girls. * “Hello,” Aly said friendly, still smiling. *

*Spirit lifted her head at the sound of the door opening; she was sitting at a table off in the far corner. She watched the girl walk in and find a seat, a lot of people came to this bar, but at the moment most of the village was out doing chores and what ever there was to be done during the day, it was at night when the bar really started to get busy. Her eyes would have usually turned away from the girl but something about her stopped them, on the out side the girl looked human but Spirit was getting a strange feeling about her, like there was something untold about her. Spirit watched her for a moment before peeling her eyes away and focusing on the table in front of her, she stayed like that for a long time when she heard the door open once again, wow; she thought this place is really jumping for the afternoon. Again she looked up to see another strange girl come in and to Spirit’s surprise she walked over to the first girl and sat down next to her. She engroned the feeling she got this time completely, but then again, shocking her, the sound of the door opening again ran through her head, and once again another girl walked in and went over to the other two. She shook her head, it had to be a coincidence, this was too weird. She let out a sighed then resting her chin on her hand, which sat on the table, she focused on a picture that hung on the wall but still watching the three girls from the corner of her eye, she had learned a long time ago that things usually don’t happen because of coincidence.*

Anime searched her mind for a clue as to what she was and as it turned out she was a half daemon, Anime decided to talk to her because she seemed to be not as scared of her as others had been in the past. Anime also noticed that this new girl was not eying her as the other towns people had before. Anime was not sure of what to say to this pretty girl so she just replied with kindness, “Hi there and what is your name?” Anime noticed that this girl looked to be about 16 or 17.*

*Aly turned to stare at the girl who had greeted her. She was friendly and very pretty. Something about her aura though, made Aly become alert. Although, they smile never left her face, she became stiff and cautious. This girl who greeted her was not human and she wasn’t a demon, she was something different. Aly’s eyes searched her and found nothing that seemed to be different. Like the girl next to her, she seemed human but she knew better. Aly trusted whatever she felt and she had learned that the hard way.* “Hello,” Aly replied just as kindly, “I’m Aly, and who might you be?” *Aly suddenly sensed something else and she was taken by surprise that she staggered. Her eyes wandered around the room until they spotted the girl who sat at another table across the room. Puzzled, she noticed that the girl was sitting alone and staring at a picture on the wall. She turned her attention back to the girl that stood in front of her and quickly excused herself for a moment. This girl that sat alone seemed to be surprised that so many people were here, and Aly wanted to talk to her. Aly made her way quickly to the table, hoping that the girl that she just talked to wasn’t offended. * “Hello, I’m Aly.” She greeted, staring at the girl, “ May I ask who you are?" *

The girl who stood in front of her was pretty small, but Spirit could tell that she was older then she looked. Spirit couldn’t stop staring at her, this was so weird, why had she come up to me? She asked herself, do I look inviting? Last time I checked I was no were near inviting. Not with the many different scars running up her arm and the few on the face. Her golden eyes didn’t help either, plus at the moment she was wearing coloured contact lenses, a weak attempt to stop people from being drawn to there usually colour, which now made them look like some colour she didn’t even know the name of. Her long black hair was tied into a very bad bun on the back of her head, hair was sticking out from everywhere and large pieces of it dangled around her face. She also wore a lot of dark clothing and a long coat, the only thing that was not dark was the bright yellow scarf with big pompoms on the ends which hung loosely around her neck. She didn’t know why she kept the scarf, the only reason she found good enough was that the pompoms on the ends could be used as a weapon if needed. Her eyes were staring to sting and she slowly blinked to remove the dust that had gotten in when she was staring wide eyed at the girl, and now that she thought about it, the staring probably didn’t help her look much. Slowly she pushed the chair she was sitting on away and stood up, again she saw a mistake in this, Spirit was quite tall for her age and next to this girl she looked even taller, this wasn’t her fault, no one had come near her for the longest of times, and so without the practice she had totally forgotten how to act. Thinking that it would be weird if she sat down again she stayed standing, “Um…I’m Spirit” she said, her eyes once again back to the non blinking stage.*

*Maya sipped the drink she ordered while watching all of this. First, a girl around her age walked in and sat next to her. Then another girl around her age walked in and greeted them. Then, that girl, Aly, walked over to another girl sitting farther away, who was also around her age. And none of them were human. From what she could sense the girl next to her was a vampire, Aly was at least part demon, and the other girl, Spirit, whose name she had heard with her keen ears, was also a demon. Maya laughed to herself. "We are quite an odd crowd, aren't we?" she said aloud. She turned and looked at the vampire girl, "Hi, I'm Maya," she introduced herself, and held out her hand, "Who are you?"

You had to admit it was pretty weird, a daemon, vampire, which, and a half daemon were all in the same place! There must be something about this place that drew us all in! Anime took all of this in and then realized that the girl that she had sat down next to was talking to her. Anime dropped her hair and let it fall to her side and then answered the girl next to her, “Oh hi my name is Anime.” Anime then grabbed her hair and then started playing with it this was a bad habit of hers.*

Anime was a creature people had written books about, had night mares about. I would not want to be a human, she thought. She looked over At the two demon girls, and then back at the vampire in front of her. All potentially very dangerous. Very, very, very dangerous. Good thing Maya herself was a sorceress, or a witch as some people liked to call her kind. Maya was ready to leave but she didn't want to. She wanted to talk to these other beings from the same world as her own. She looked Anime straight in the eye. "So," she asked,"what are you doing here in Goscott?"

Her eyes studied the girl, her dark brown eyes searching. Her eyes wandered over the scars that were visible both on her arm and face, and she wondered how she would have received them. Not many people achieved scars like the ones Spirit had in a simple combat between two or more people and it seemed to her that it would have been something more, but Aly could be mistaken, she was often incorrect in the past. Pushing the thought out of her head, Aly smiled at Spirit and nodded toward her to sit down. It was obvious to her that many humans would stay away from Spirit's peculiar ensemble. Her hair pushed clumisly back into a bun and her eyes would cause alarm to any human being. Aly gazed directly at Spirit's eyes, trying to determine if they were her natural colour. She had never seem a colour like that before, and for once, she was uncertain. She wasn't sure why it bothered her but she knew her face would give it away, so she hurriedly pushed the feeling aside. All the characteristics that Spirit possessed would cause people to stay away from her so perhaps that was why she was uncertain what to do when others came near her. Aly wasn't even sure why she had come to her, why she had strayed from the others that she was getting to know comfortably. Something had drawn her to this girl and she wasn't sure why. She could overhear that the girl she was talking too, her name was Anime and the other one was Maya. They were both not human, just like Spirit and her, which meant that everyone in the room at the moment, was something other then a mere human. Turning her attention back to Spirit, she sat down and gazed at her. * "Nice to meet you Spirit," Aly said friendly, "Do you live in this town?"
